Conveniently located right next-door to Quest Diagnostics in a Sugar Land strip mall at Williams Trace and 59(by Outback Steakhouse), their breakfast tacos hit the spot after getting fasting blood work done this morning. An affordable($ 1.35 each) and healthy(corn tortillas option) alternative to breakfast chains. The potatoes tasted great! I would go back to try their other menu items.

Awesome authentic Mexican food and they do have a few Tex Mex dishes to cater to all in Sugar Land. Menudo is good and they do have tasty street style tacos, flavorful tortas and caldo del res(beef and vegetable soup) and many traditional dishes.

One star is too much. Was the worst food we’ve ever eaten… ever! I had nachos. How do you screw up nachos, I’ll tell you how. You slap beans on a plate, chips, a bunch of cheese and premade beef and throw it in the oven so the beans are completely crusted to the dish. Husband had the fajita taco salad. It was questionable lettuce, RAW onion slices, avocado strips and a grilled chicken breast. Was inedible. Waitress was very nice but never asked why we weren’t eating. We asked for the check and she asked if we would like boxes. We both said«NO» at the same time. Oh and I had a piña colada. It tasted like soap. I try not to do negative reviews but this place is no Bueno.

If i could give them 0 stars I would. This place was a horrible experience for me. Their refried beans suck so does the rice. They taste like they have been reheated over and over. The guacamole was turning black already. The fajita was fatty. The service was nonexistent. Never will I be going back in there!

Second trip here Like the vibe. Like the food. Service is good. Cheese enchiladas are not that good but everything else is so far. Worth a trip. Prices are cheap.

I went here for lunch and I had the caldo de res which was a beef and vegetable soup. The broth was tasty with big chunks of beef with bone, potatoes, cabbage and corn. Ate it with fresh corn tortillas and was really satisfied with the food quality and prompt and polite service. Will definitely come back.

I absolutely love this place! I come here often and all I have to say is amazing service and food for cheap! Really authentic tasting food for a great price! I start off with a regular margarita with raw jalapeños! It’s so good and not spicy at all! It’s highly recommended!!! The raw jalapeños cancels the taste of tequila and so it tastes pretty smooth! As for food, yum, yum, yum!!! I always order the #30 which is the Molcajete! The best one on the menu. It has combination of beef, chicken, and shrimp fajitas, with grilled onions and cactus. At first I was hesitant on the cactus, however, when I did try it, OMG!!! So good! They marinate the meat so well! The pollo pallabra I think that’s what it’s called, is great and the Chuy Diablo fajitas! They’re yummy as well. I almost forgot to mention, make sure to order the green salsa! They have two types: spicy and regular. Get the spicy one and add lime to it, to dilute it a little. It’s quite spicy, yet DELICIOUS! I always enjoy my time here and they close at 9 on Sunday’s, which is great. I love the staff, they are very nice people! High recommended for margaritas and cheap, authentic, best Mexican food! Yum yum in my tummy!

Best bet is Molcajete. The Charro beans are nothing a special not even edible. House margarita is average. But the service is prompt and friendly but the TVs are quite loud. Give it a try and see if it’s your taste but for me I’ve had better. UPDATE: we stopped in for a quick drink to get out of the rain and the servers were extremely friendly and efficient. The music was loud but ok if you like the Mexican theme ambiance. My wife had the ceviche tostada was quite good.

Update:… 2÷25÷2015. I guess I was wrong. As far of service… Food was still OK, but danm… The waitress was totally ignoring us… Honestly I don’t care if she’s doing whatever she was doing. But wait 20 mins just to get the check. Hmmm I had to stand and look for her twice… Just to get my check… She was talking with a guy another coworker. So I went and asked her. If I’m getting the check so I can pay and leave. Or if the food was free? So I could go. Guess she got mad. Will never come here again…

This is the second time that we have visited this restaurant. We were able to order from the Luncheon Menu even though it was a Saturday Night. The prices are very reasonable and less than what we pay at most other Mexican Restaurants. You need to be prepared for the salsas because the red salsa is hotter than most places and the green salsa is very hot. We enjoyed our entrees and the food tasted better than our previous visit. We order drinks from the bar and we were pleased with them. The waitress recommended the Mangorita for a drink for the three of us to share and we agreed that is was probably the best margarita that either of us have every had. We don’t like Mango Margaritas that we have tried at other restaurants so we were rather taken back by how good it was. This is our drink of choice the next time that we visit this restaurant. The waitress service was excellent and she seems to enjoyed her job. She really likes giving suggestions and I hope our nice tip showed her how much we appreciated her service. We will be back soon.

We ordered tacos and tortas from the restaurant a week ago. When we got home to eat the food, the torta was stale and the fajita meat that it came with was hardly plentiful. We called to complain and the manager said that he would give us a comped meal the next time we ordered. Today when we ordered, the same manager said that he could take a $ 1 off of our tab for the inconvenience last time??? He quoted, «it’s only going to be $ 12» what’s the big deal? Apparently he does not have a honor system and I will gladly from now on go to another taqueria. They are a dime a dozen and he just lost out on my money. Shame on him.

Food is horrible and it taste like they use old grease. I couldn’t drink anything the fountain drinks or tea. I am pretty sure they have slime in the ice machine and don’t bother to clean! I ordered tacos and they were the most bland tacos I’ve ever eaten in my life. To top it off the ridiculous waitress and staff are horrible. In the middle of taking our order she answers her cell phone and then says«oh I’ll be right back» wth! I have never had that happen in my life. No one was in there and they cranked the music so loud as if it were 12 am on a Saturday night! It was lunch time! Do not go there!!!

Went for dinner last night and was disappointed again. Their queso is out of a can that was bought at Sam’s. I asked for the«special» queso they had once when I went and they didn’t have the ingredients. I asked for a Mexican Martini and was told they didn’t have the ingredients. I think the waitress/bartender didn’t know how to make it. I then asked for a Mojito and again was told they didn’t have the ingredients. BTW… these drinks were on their drink menu. Service was horrible and they were not even busy. My dinner was extremely greasy; beef fajita taco and gordita. Extremely disappointed and I told my husband that I do not want to go back. The BEST waiter there left to serve our country. He was definitely missed last night, but we are so proud of him!!!

I’ll make this quick. My previous review was for lunch. I guess I was in a good mood. Here for dinner with kids. Food gets zero stars. My food and the kids food inedible. My Carne guisada, nasty. Tortillas hot but water flavored. Red salsa tastes like Campbell tomato soup. Momma’s not happy. My son said everything here is nasty except the Sprite. Oh well, you win some you lose some. Service a 3.

I travel to Sugar Land occasionally, and I knew there had to be a good Mexican restaurant that was not a chain somewhere. Well, thank you Unilocal for helping me find this place! It is in a strip mall, but don’t let that deter you. The menu offers a wide section of old favorites and a nice twist on them too. The servings are large and very reasonably prices. And the staff and service were exceptional. When you make me feel like a valued customer, that guarantees I will be back!

I got to try mole for the first time here and I had it to go. The food was delicious, no complaints and it wasn’t pricey. The staff was nice and very hospitable even though I was there for 10 minutes. I would go back again to try their taco lengua and their breakfast taco since the last review was raving about it.

I cannot understand how this place stays open. We went for lunch and once again the food was yuk. This was our third and last time. The other two times were for breakfast and dinner. Chips came out stale again. However, the complimentary cheese sauce for dipping was ok. The fajita lunch plate was a good deal for $ 6, but you pay for what you get. The meat was skimpy and dry. The meat wasn’t warm at all. I even had to wait to eat while they warmed up some manufactured tortillas that were dry and stale. You could tell they weren’t homemade. The beans and rice were ok. The only thing that’s good about this place was the service. Our waitress kept our glasses full and was very attentive. Even then, we had to ask for our check a couple of times. However, I think the policy is to go up to the cashier to get the check and pay. We saw other diners lining up to do this, which is another thing I don’t understand. There are too many good Mex joints in the area, so this place is probably more of a convenience to the people who rank it higher than 3 stars. We won’t be back.

It’s cheap but it also tastes cheap. This place has been hyped up & overrated by sugarlanders who are either to lazy or to afraid to drive to stafford & get real mexican food. the only reason they get 2 stars is because the service was top notch… I literaaly wanted/waited for nothing during my visit… except for decent food. WASTEOFCALORIES!

It’s hard to find authentic Mexican food in Sugar Land, although the city is littered with Tex Mex joints. Fortunately, we stumbled upon TMGB! And what a satisfying experience! I opted for tacos a la carte: shrimp, al pastor, and grilled steak. They’re topped with the typical onion cilantro and the flavors were delish! Would def order them again! The mister got the Diablo Fajitas which came with chicken and steak, drizzled with their ‘diablo’ hot sauce, which I didn’t care too much for. It was no comparison to my yummy tacos. Their margaritas were strong. Service was friendly. Reasonable prices. Casual sit down ambience. Would recommend if you’re craving real Mexican food and don’t wanna venture into Houston.
