This is a breath of fresh are as compared to the HEB down the street, Small, but clean and well stocked. Not overcrowded and a great produce selection. There were enough checkouts open so that things did not get too backed up. Nice little store, and I will be back.

One of the Pharmacists is a continual problem. Pitiful communication — constantly blames doctors office for not receiving prescriptions when Doctors office has sent faxes. Questions Dr on prescriptions. Minimal effort to fill with generic drugs vs non-generics.

I’m not a fan of Randall’s groceries. They always seem to fall short of the mark, as I believe the saying goes. This location has confirmed such on each of the few occasions I’ve come here… but shouldn’t have. Besides having quite expired items on the shelves — yuck! do they ever check the stock? — the store also seems to be out of and low on several items in stock. I won’t buy anything from a grocery that has a quantity of past the expiration food items. Just no. Nothing seems fresh in the produce or bakery or at least not that I’ve seen. The quality was lacking as well. That’s a big turn-off. The only reason this store warrants two stars because it is clean overall and the employees are friendly. I have definitely experienced better otherwise. When I am in the area I will skip this place and travel on to other groceries where I know the food is not expired and the quality is much better.

Dont plan on buying alcohol if you’re in a group. Their older cashiers will profile you and refuse to sell you anything. Went there with my boyfriend so he could buy a 4 pack of beer(I’m 20 and he’s 22). They said they couldn’t sell because TX state law says that one cant buy alcohol if anyone in the group is under 21(which isn’t even state law, they just lied to get us out of there). Their policy is that the cashier has the«best judgement» to profile you by age or appearance and deny you service if they think you will be giving alcohol to someone underage. If your a mom buying wine with your 10 yr old; fine. If your 22 and have an someone under 21 with you, forget it. My boyfriend even went in later to buy the beer without me and they still wouldn’t let him buy because«they knew i was still with him».

I guess I have high expectations from the Randall’s by my job in River Oaks. They always have food ready at the deli for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I went to this location because I was in the area. Went there today to get some chicken noodle soup and they had no soups available for another 30 mins. It is about 10:10 am. The location in River Oaks usually has the hot soups available at 9:45 am everyday. It however was a clean store.

This grocery store is a super convenient location for me(and it has a Starbucks), but is definitely overpriced. While I appreciate their attempts to save consumers a buck through the«just for U» program, it’s tedious to log in and add coupons for items before shopping. Why not just give us the coupon/cheaper price to begin with? They do have some items I really like, such as good price on pre-packaged baked goods, pizza in the deli, and large tubs if salad, but paying $ 4.29 for a package of 10 slices of cheese is a bit crazy(it’s half that at HEB or Target). Also, the points I earn with my Randalls card are useless because the gas stations for the discount are not close by and employees don’t even know where the nearest one is located… pointless. This grocery store is owned by the same company as Dominick’s in Chicagoland — which is apparently going out of business and was in the news a couple years ago for keeping expired food on shelves(same story with this randalls location — I have found numerous expired items on the shelf here). I have a feeling if this company doesn’t change something, we may not have this location very much longer. So, I use this Randall’s sparingly and definitely go to HEB or Target up the road when I have the time. I suggest you do the same.

I always enjoy shopping at Randalls because most of the Randalls stores are clean, spacious and well lit, which altogether make grocery shopping more pleasant and more fun! By this review, I’d like to talk about the Cronuts or Dou’ssants or whatever you would call the donut-croissant hybrids. $ 4 for a box of 4 pcs fluffy goodness sounds pretty reasonable. If eaten straight from the box, they might be hard and stale; but when heated up a little bit(microwave each for 12 seconds maybe) they taste fluffy, buttery and totally sweet-tooth-satisfying! Remember this is NOT the NYC’s Dominique Ansel’s Bakery, meaning that«Adjust your Expectation!!» teeheee: P Anyways the Randall’s cronuts are not bad at all, and yes, worth a try!

Clean and not overcrowded like HEB where you have to wait for people to move so you can get down an aisle. Everyone is always friendly.

Overall I have no complaints about this Randall’s, but nothing really to brag about either. Overall I tend to shop at Kroger as I find it cheaper for the same items. However, Randall’s does have better tasting baked goods. So if you need a cake, come here!

Should a «professional» working in the Randall’s meat and fish department wearing a butcher’s apron know something about cutting up fish? I went to this Randall’s and asked for some whole trout to be filleted. The«professional» cut the whole dressed fish for me and left the bones in without filleting the fish and also cut through the meaty part of the fish like a wave. The«fillets» were ruined and totally unusable. Cutting out the bones after he ruined them was impossible. Thanks for ruining my dinner. This is like going to a restaurant and everyone else is served the entrée except for you. I guess I’ll have a salad. Oh, and never go back to that neighborhood Randall’s except for a refund on my dinner I can’t eat.

One of the nicer neighborhood grocer. Randalls meat, vege and fruit are always a cut above competitors in quality. Price is fair. Store is clean clean clean. Caters to upper middle income folks. Their Friday afternoon specials are super. Rottissier chicken is the best in the neighborhood.

This is one of the smaller grocery stores in the area, making it ideal for quick stops. They also are very coupon friendly, and have great sales. They tend to have one of the better produce selections, and regularly run sales based on what is seasonal. Their bakery department is my favorite among all the grocery stores. I often get at least one birthday cake a year here for someone I know. Their deli counter, usually has a few tasty items to pick up for a quick meal. If you know how to shop the sales and use coupons, Kroger and Randall’s really are two of the cheaper grocery stores in the area. Randall’s also has a Blockbuster Express as well as a Starbucks inside.

This store is nice just because its conveniently close. I am not a big fan of the stores lay out, it seems to have weird things in weird places. You do save money when you have a Randalls card just as a quick tip.
