Do not order shrimp they’ll give you 4 pieces and charge an extra dollar. The chow main is very greasy and lacks flavor. I love panda express but not this location the portions are smaller than elsewhere and not as delicious and wayy too greasy

I’m pregnant and two weeks ago I had a very strong mid-day craving for fried rice. We recently moved to the Sugar Land area and decided we could trust Panda as we’ve been to other locations before. Our entrees were decent but the fried rice was BURNT. I took three bites of mine and couldn’t eat anymore. I helped my 1 year old daughter finish her meal and during that time, several other customers came by and ordered along with several drive-thru customers. I thought maybe the burnt rice was just on top and maybe it would be better deeper in the bowl. Nope. Still very burnt — you could even see it on the grains of rice and corn. I was truly disappointed and the employees didn’t seem to care and continued to serve this rice to others. Highly disappointed.

There are zero negatives here. Dining room is clean clean clean. I appreciate that effort. Welcomed by a smiling face. Eghosasere is a jewel. He is friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and courteous. He will go far. You don’t get quality food AND quality customer service very often. We had honey walnut shrimp and sesame chicken. Everything was delightful. I like that they cook small amounts at a time ensuring that everything is always fresh. I rec this place. There is a drive through. Can’t improve on perfection.

Let me say up front, I’ve gone to several Panda Express restaurants, and I’ve generally been happy with the experience. This one was a bit different. We stopped in about for an early lunch on Sunday because we were going to the nearby HMNS Sugar Land to see an exhibit, and it opened at 12. My wife always likes to get the Panda bowl with the mixed vegetables with the entrée on top, and that’s what she tried to order at this Panda Express. Didn’t work, because they said they were out of the mixed vegetables. How do you run out of something a few minutes after you open? I placed my order, my wife figured out something else to order, and we searched for a table. This took a while, because almost every table in the place was dirty. There were also crumbs and food scraps on the floor. Did I mention that they had only been open a few minutes? How do you open a restaurant without cleaning the floors and tables from the previous evening? The food was okay, but not as good as I’ve had in other Panda Express locations. They also had a much smaller selection of entrees than the other Panda Express locations I’ve been to. Unlike some of the other reviewers, I don’t have a problem with the concept of Chinese food as fast food, and I like Panda Express in general, but I will not return to this one.

For a quick fix of some chinese food, Panda Express is one of those fast food chains you find everywhere in this town. But clearly each one is not the same as the others. By far, the Sugarland location serves it fresh and friendly. I’ve been to the Panda Express in Weslayan, ordered same stuff… ew :/

The cook here does a pretty good job based on the style of food and recipes. BUT whoever is in charge of ordering supplies needs some serious help! Seems like anytime I come here they’re out of something. Last time it was white RICE. This time it was SOYSAUCE. REALLY? How can you even operate without a surplus of those things?

We did drive thru and I ordered a large entrée of Orange chicken, Beijing beef and 1 order of fried brown rice. This cost a total of ~$ 25. The orange chicken used white chicken breast meat and tasted good but the container that they use is small in comparison to the big to go boxes other restaurants use. They look very cute because they are the traditional boxes. The Beijing beef was not as tasty and had a lot of red peppers. It was expensive and the food portions were not large and the food was okay but definitely Americanized. Service was very nice and polite. I think it is a little crazy to have to pay for rice though.

Poor customer service, our order was wrong and the drive thru personnel could not understand. We requested to speak with the manager, but they would not allow that either, even though we were the only car in line. Mediocre food quality also. Suggest Pei Wei instead, or pretty much anywhere else!

Chinese food should not be in the same category as fast food. It just doesn’t work, or at least it doesn’t work here. Panda Express may have a good idea going but the overall quality of the food leaves little to go on. We tried the orange chicken with steamed brown rice, broccoli beef with fried rice, sweetfire chicken with fried rice and the vegetable egg rolls. The orange chicken was the best of the lot and it still had quite a few chewy, fatty pieces. The flavor was fine but the meat quality wasn’t. The brown rice was a mix of nicely streamed and gumminess which was odd. The broccoli beef was also a mix of decent beef and stringy beef. Sweetfire chicken was a little on the greasy side with the chicken being, again, fatty on some pieces. The fried rice had an okay flavor but was a bit dry. The sauce, which wasn’t bad, helped with that. The vegetable egg rolls were somewhat greasy, also, and slightly soggy. I didn’t expect top notch Chinese food here because it is a fast food place. I did expect, hopefully expect that is, a little better quality of meats as in less fatty pieces. If there had been more consistency and better meat, this would be an okay place for a quick grab of food. This place may be okay in an extreme pinch but otherwise I’d rather go to a Chinese restaurant that doesn’t fall under the fast food category.

My nephew really wanted to go. Meh, the food tastes better than most places but as a person who is not a big fan of this food, that doesn’t say much, or it says a lot depending on how you look at it I guess!

I pretty much get the same thing every time I come here. I get the Beijing beef, chow mein noodles, and veggies. It isn’t anything fancy, but it is consistent and good for fast food Chinese. I do wish they had a stir fry veggie option or any type of main entrée veggie option, but for the price you do get lots of food. It always lasts me at least two meals if not more. Also make sure to save your receipt and do the survey on the back for a coupon towards your next purchase.

I’ve driven by this location quite a few times and always wondered if it was any good. Some friends told me to stay away while others said it was okay but nothing great. Well, today I finally decided to check it out and know once and for all whether the rumors were true. I went through the drive-thru and skimmed the menu. The pictures made everything look delicious so my hopes were a little higher than they should have been. I decided to go with the two entrée plate which gives you the option of two meats and a side. I ordered orange chicken for one entrée meat and mandarin chicken for the other. I went for the steamed rice as the side. After placing my order, I pulled up to the window and waited for my food. The guy that handed me my food said that samples are available so I asked for a sample of the sweet & sour chicken. It tasted like any fast food Chinese restaurant so it wasn’t anything special. Once I got home and opened the box my food was in, I immediately noticed how bland the Mandarin chicken looked. It looked NOTHING like the picture on the menu! It looked disgusting but I had to man up and give it the taste test. To say the least, it failed. Do not order the Mandarin chicken from this location. The orange chicken, however, was not bad. It’s something I would order again, though, I don’t think I’ll be coming back here any time soon. Another complaint is that the soy sauce that they provided had a very thick consistency and looked like molasses. For really cheap Chinese food, I guess coming here makes sense. However, they use the cheapest chicken possible and it’s just barely okay. I was extremely let down by the Mandarin chicken, though the orange chicken was decent. Contrary to what their sign may say, this is definitely not gourmet Chinese food. I’d rather go to the Pei Wei located not too far down the road than eat here again.
