I love coming here for breakfast tacos! Their breakfast players are pretty good too(had chilaquiles the first time I went here). It’s a part of a gas station so it’s pretty casual. It’s really cheap overall and you can’t go wrong here if you like tacos :) and their fruit juices are good too. My favorite is the melon juice! Make sure you ask for salsa if you like a small kick

Jalapeño Joes is home court for the most authentic tacos. The ladies that work the counter are super sweet and the food is sensational. I usually get the tacos but everything on the menu looks pretty good! Definitely recommend to anyone.

Overall very good. No real service to speak of, mostly self serve which makes getting napkins and extra spoons and whatnot cumbersome but the food was really good and the folks working there were friendly. Had breakfast Migas and some beef soup. Good. Mmmmm

Best breakfast tacos in sugar land! I was apprehensive at first, but they are amazing! The tacos are so cheap, and authentic. I also like Soliz but the wait is long and the price is higher. Whereas here, the wait is extremely short and the price is great. They don’t charge per item you get on your taco. My favorites are the chorizo and the barbacoa. Don’t judge a book by its cover on this one!

Best authentic tacos in sugar land. Breakfast tacos are cheaper and better than soliz! Don’t be afraid of it being in a gas station, the food is too good. Every person I take here never regrets it and always comes back for more

I love the burritos they have but they charge for everything ! I come in and ask for another salsa and I get charged … I ask for a packet of salt and I get charged — next time I go in they are going to charge me just for breathing! It’s kinda pricey for a restaurant inside a gas station…

No and no and no… No some more! Worst consistency of corn tortillas I have ever had these lips put my mouth on. Barbacoa? Wow. Dry. Couldn’t even chew it. The chicharron was good but ruined by said corn tortillas. Wide assortment of aguas but will never be back to try any of them besides the watermelon that I had due to the fact that this place is out of the way and a bad tortilla? Can’t get past that…

Jalapeño Joe’s, why have I been so scared to give you guys a try? Maybe because you’re connected to a Shell Gas Station? What a big mistake. I have been here four times in the past week and a half and simply put, this place has some damn good food. It’s been hard to find a place with everything I want from a taqueria while being so close to home but Joe’s has managed to fill that gap. The barbacoa, chicharron and refried beans from Joe’s are the best I have ever had. The barbacoa is very moist and the chicharron is delicious, something I can’t say in the same sentence about most taquerias. I don’t think I’ve ever cared about refried beans until now. Yum Errr, I’m thinking about what to try on my next trip while writing this review. Breakfast tacos are good. Caldo de res is ok. What else am I missing… Oh yeah, how about a hamburger? Yup, they got that too and it’s actually good. As I was eating the hamburger, I couldn’t put my finger on why it was so different(in a good way). I checked the burger and saw that it was mixed with a bunch of green onions which gives it a nice kick. Just remember to leave out the mustard… The bad? They need to start offering free chips and salsa. They also need to invest some money to provide better ways of serving salsa. If you order to go, they give you salsa rolled up in little plastic wrap which looks insanely cheap and ghetto. Good thing that those things are shadowed by the quality of food.
