Great Clips

The only reason I’m giving this place 2 stars is because of the fact that I still have hair on my head. I went to this location a couple times before, and they were pretty good. (Not as good as the one in Missouri City though) However, my opinion completely changed after I went here recently. There was a long line of people before me, but I still managed to get through them in a short period of time. When I sat down with my hairdresser, Traleseia, she was complaining about how she was already having a bad day due to «personal problems.» After that, while she was cutting my hair, she said that I should «stop being a bobble head and keep my head still.» At one point I told her my hair looked uneven, which caused her to shout and say «I’ve been doing this for 20 years, don’t call my haircutting uneven.» I was so mad, but I remained silent. Overall, she was very rude the entire time and she even started yelling so loud that everyone was looking. I didn’t talk back to her because I was scared that she would shave my head off, but this type of attitude is absolutely not acceptable. Judging from the other reviews, I can tell that I’m not the only one who has experienced this. The haircut itself was not bad (I actually liked it). However, I personally believe she should be fired for this type of behavior because not many people want to go to a place where the employees are rude. I know for a fact that I’m never coming back to this location ever again.

I can sum up my experience here with one word… rude! The stylist had a terrible attitude toward me. When it was my turn and she saw that I wanted a style too, and not just a haircut, she rolled her eyes. Then as I showed her what style I was looking for (which was simple… I only wanted it curled) she said they can’t do that. It wasn’t until another stylist told her to use the curling iron and do it that she did. As she started, she complained about it saying they weren’t planning on taking any style jobs that day. For the remainder of the time, she styled my hair in a very weak way as she complained about not wanting to be there. I went to see my mother afterwards to help me fix it since she did such a poor job. I believe she was rolling her eyes behind me as well because other stylists that walked by had a smirk/​laugh when looking at her. She was extremely rude and so unprofessional. I will never go back to this salon. Don’t waste your time.

The first few times they were ok but always seemed short staffed, which meant a long wait. The last time we went in, I specifically checked in online to avoid the wait. But we still ended up waiting and the staff were taking back clients before us that had not done online check in. Don’t offer online checkin if you’re not going to honor it. There are too many other hair places around town to sit through this treatment. So we left without haircuts and went to their competition. I will not go back.
