Brilliant Sky Toys and Books is your classic mom&pop neighborhood toy store. The people that work here have a passion for toys, books, and children. They are not just here to make a sale — but they will explain certain items in detail. They know their toys.=) From Melissa and Doug playsets, marble runs, mini-lawnmowers, to puzzles and board games, they boast a variety of toys that are both fun and educational, and not just pure entertainment value. My kids love the arts and crafts days on Tuesday and Friday mornings(around 10AM). They are completely free and the workers love interacting with the kids. They typically read a book and do a craft based on the book. We’ve done things like big paper cookies, peek-a-boo bunny crafts, and crafty owls. Advice: Wait for the sales or use coupons.

I love this store! Not just any usual toy store!!! It has toys and gifts for all ages! I am 22 and I find the toys there very fun! They make people think and have fun at the same time! Staff is super friendly and supporting! They are obviously enthusiastic about what they sell! I love how they have crafts days or game days. You can come in with your kids(or yourself) and experience some off their games and products!!! Love this store!

Not impressed. The store looks wonderful and has nice toys but their policies are horrible! I received some baby toys from this store when my son was born and my husband and I had a horrible experience when I tried to return them. I had the receipt and the toys were unopened but it was past 30 days since they were purchased(I had a newborn and it took me a while to get to the store). When I tried to return the items I was told that since it was past 30 days that I couldn’t. I asked if I could exchange them, get store credit, anything?!? NO! We asked to speak to the store manager and she said she was the one on duty. Ridiculous. What store doesn’t allow returns for at least store credit or exchanges — especially when it was a gift and you have the receipt and the items are still sealed in their original packaging(and still in the store at full price). I love to support local stores but I will NEVER buy from this store as they have horrible customer service.

I have recently started checking this toy store out because my older sister in her late 20s has begun to collect these toys called«beanie boos» which are owned by the beanie baby TY company. So she has been stopping by pretty often to see any new beanie boos are in stock. I recall there being another toy store that once was found in the center but they closed down. I hope this one is able to stick around. Every time we enter, we are greeted with a smile and welcome back. Th gentleman knows my sister now as the one looking for beanie boos. So it’s great that they try to give a personal service and get to know their customers. As I browse around, I see various toys from big to small. Classic to the gadgets. They even have a small area of costumes for kids. Princess costumes, pirate, and even little monsters. They have this new technology thing where to pick one of the books and stand in front of th camera and a 3D image will pop up on the screen. So far I saw two books over wildlife(butterfly popped out) and construction(building crane pops out) but its only the cover, not inside the book. There is a train track building cente, books, stuff animals, and those little wind up toys that run havoc on any surface. They also sell motorless car toys, which I have called Plasma Car. Btw, it fits adults(haha). Check it out. There is also another one without the handles and you use your feet. I think it’s awesome… Silly but I stroll around my hard wood floors with the plasma car. Another cool thing I saw on their counter was water speakers where you can hook up your stereo or iPod and the water will jump to the beat and including colorful lights. Pretty awesome. Similar to the water show in Vegas in front of the bellagio. This place is located between Taisho and Charming Charlie’s and I think you will be able to find any cute gift for any little one in your life. Even adults with a child-like heart… I’m telling you those speakers or plasma cars are awesome.
