I just finished crying. 5 days before my wedding, my altered dress and custom made jacket were presented to me in a shopping bag, wrinkled, covered in thread. My jaw
dropped open. I pointed out that the jacket didn;t fit, the seams were crooked, there were threads everywhere on my wrinkled dress and jacket
I was told I could «pick» out all the lose threads showing in the wiggly seams of the jacket that doesn’t fit all. It’s really beyond description.
I was told to bring them «somewhere» to have
them steamed and pressed and that, when they were pressed, tthe jacket would fit
properly. The jacket doesn’t fit It’s constructed poorly and it looks much like a home economics project from back in the 60’s
This was my worst nightmare come true. I threw the damn thing in the trash and headed to Niemans. and SaksI spent the last 6 hours trying to find a jacket that will work. At best I will look a little thrown together for my wedding.

I bought my wedding gown at this shop yesterday, and it was such a wonderful experience. Maggie and Jean were attentive, knowledgeable, lovely people who had a great sense of humor and made trying on the gowns so much fun. Every sample I tried on was beautifully made, and Maggie made suggestions based on a vague description of what I was looking for. Also, her prices are extremely reasonable for gorgeous, custom-​made gowns. I’m so thrilled with my purchase and I’m convinced I would not have found a dress so unique and gorgeous anywhere else.
I’m surprised this gem of a place doesn’t have more reviews on here, and I would recommend it to anyone!
