Food was excellent, service was ok, but the nan was crispy instead of soft. Shouldn’t have had to point that out. Other than that, no complaints!

This is our third time here and we finally felt like it was our first time here! The waiter was different from the first two times we were here, which is why we have mixed feelings about the services here. We were served crackers for the first time with multiple dips! The waiter even gave us a coupon when we left! The food here is excellent, definitely better than most of the other Indian restaurants we’ve been to, that usually serves everything that tastes pretty much the same. We had tried 3 different curries so far, and they all taste deliciously different. It’s by far our favorite Indian restaurant, even if their service is inconsistent.

Geez! Food was fabulous! I usually make my own Indian food but treated myself(with my Indian food compatriot) to somebody else cooking. Amazing! We both loved it and we are VERY fussy! Very happy and would highly recommend this place.

My boyfriend and I love Indian food and we have been to many places and make it ourselves. This place was less than average. The prices of everything versus what you get don’t compare. It’s pricey for little portions of flavorless food. They were reluctant to give rice with our meals. This place was just a mess in every sense. Not worth trying and not worth coming back.

Stopped in for late lunch. They had a buffet set out but most of it was empty and not really appetizing looking. We asked to order off the menu and we split a fried veggie appy and tandoori chicken. Veggie was good– chicken just ok but it was just cut up chicken pieces on a sizzling platter. Nothing else, no bread or rice with the meal? Bill was 22 bucks! Kind of meager serving but here is why we will not return. Silverware was dirty and 3 xs I asked for clean water glasses and the waiter kept telling me it was the dishwasher. try hand washing them! The powder room and whole place needs a good scrubbing.

The food is very well prepared and the staff are all very friendly. The lunch buffet has a nice selection and it’s great for vegetarians!

Mixed emotions… we ordered chicken korma, onion naan, paneer, and an appetizer sized chicken Tikka marsala. The food we got… finally…when it was right… was great. That’s the good. Now for the bad… We waited a good 10 to 15 minutes before the waiter came to the table. It took another 10 minutes to get a carafe of water. Our chicken Tikka marsala was wrong… not once… not twice. …but three times. They also automatically add a 15% gratuity. …WHICHWASDEFINITELYNOTDESERVED.

Really nice lunch buffet. The husband and I were out picking up a table, and found this place on the way home. We enjoyed the lunch buffet, which had about 8 items on it. The usual chicken tandoori and rice were on it, but they also had palak paneer and a host of other things. The chicken makhani was very good. They brought fresh naan to the table and made sure we had our water. Definitely a good lunch spot. I’m not out in that area very often, but this was worth visiting.

We live in Budd lake and ordered some take out Chinese food as my sister came down from FL. It was our first time trying out this restaurant and was very excited. We ordered 3 veg rice + 2 paneer chilly + 2 veg manchurian. The paneer chilly and manchurian was spicy hot. We all had few bites and mouth started burning immediately. We all threw our dishes in garbage as it was extremely spicy. Sorry we don’t waste food but had to due to unavoidable circumstances. I called place and they told its there normal food from kitchen. We didn’t specify to make it spicy when we placed the order… person who answered the phone was not willing to accept they will replace the food or should have told what kind of food do you prefer. It is common practice in restaurant. Long story short I called and asked for refund. They agreed to refund but when I went over with remaining food he gave me refund but charged me for 4 veg rice @ $ 51 and which I told him how am I going to eat those rice alone but the owner tall bald guy came out of kitchen hurriedly and gave me $ 41 refund and told take this and get out of my place… I told him simple thing let me take you to 10 places and they would not serve you spicy food until you specify. He was too rude and just took my refund. What I wanted was when I called them they should have accepted that it was spicy and should be careful placing order next time or talk to a person politely. I understand from business perspective it’s loss but someone has problem then it’s their responsibility to solve it amicably… Would not have written a review if he was polite!!! Would not recommend trying this place because of their improper service. Food wise they may be good or bad as I cannot judge them unfairly on one visit. If you are expecting service dont even think about this place. Even guy took a wrong order as we only ordered 3 veg rice. Overall very bad exp…

Stopped in for a quick lunch today. I chose from the buffet since I didn’t have a lot of time. I was a bit early so everything was fresh and fully stocked. I don’t know a lot about Indian food but I’ve had some great homemade dishes from coworkers. That being said, the food was really good. Fresh naan(bread) was brought out as I sat down for my first plate of food and it was very soft and doughy but delicious. I tried pretty much everything available at the buffet and enjoyed it all. The chicken curry and chickpeas were both delicious. I’m definitely going back when I have more time.

Not impressed at all. Came by around 2 based on decent reviews to find almost no food in the trays but given we were hungry we still ate. Mediocre food, not much choice, not very clean in the middle salad buffet(old sticky jars full of odd condiments just sitting around), no real dessert, not attentive wait staff. None of the dishes left a desire to go back for seconds. We would not visit again unfortunately.

Stopped by late Saturday. The staff was very helpful and friendly even though I’m sure they were near closing time. We started off with some Naan and an order of the vegetable samosas. Both were great. The samosas were large with a nice crispy crunch. For dinner I had the Lamb Roganjosh and my wife the Chicken Korma. Both dishes were out of this world and reasonably priced. Definitely worth the trip.

Came for dinner on a Saturday. Had the lamb roganjosh, chicken tikka masala, and bindi masala for entrees, with garlic naan and vegetable samosas. The samosas were excellent, but the lamb was only okay. Overall okay experience, and it was good for kids since it wasn’t crowded.

Why people who does not know how to cook Indian food opens an Indian restaurant and torture unsuspecting customers like us? I went there with family and had ordered goat biriyani, curry and mixed appetizers. The goat was the cheapest quality possible, appetizers were not that bad. Décor was cheap and pathetic. Rather than charging customers for serving bad food, they can simply ask for donation to get admission in a cooking class, learn how to cook and then open.

Really good food. We had the chicken tikka masala and a veggie korma. I enjoyed the chicken very much. Wasn’t a huge fan of the flavor on the veggies. Get the samosas. They are awesome. A little spicy but a nice flavor. The garlic naan is original and I very much enjoyed it. It wasn’t too strong for me but it was too much for my husband. Great fish tank. :)

This place has great Indian food. I frequent it for the lunch buffet. It’s a little more expensive than others and sometimes the food runs low. I always ask them to restock something if I want more and they always do. I am looking forward to my next visit. It’s a BYOB too…

I went there with my friend who knows a lot about Indian cuisine. Waiter was very helpful with recommending dishes. We had Bollywood Sampler which was ok. For main course I chose chicken tandoori which was delicious, as per waiter’s recommendation, I have ordered dipping sauce — name escapes me now, which highlighted the experience. I also had rose lassi — superb! Do not drink it before your meal though, have a sip here and there… If you drink the entire glass at once it will fill you up and you won’t have any space for food. It was my first visit to that place, but I highly recommend it.

I guess the secret it out about this place. I have been here numerous times and could of swore that I wrote a review in the past. The service and food are outstanding. The owner is always present when I go. I went to pick up an order and the place was pretty busy with three others waiting for a to-go order. This is by far the best Indian food in the area.
