The food was absolutely amazing. I ordered the crispy duck which was off the charts, my sweetheart had the fried rice and some horderves with shrimp which put us in heaven when it got in my mouth my mom ordered the pork which was so tasty and her boyfriend ordered the filet mignon which melted in your moth and was sooo tender. The sauces the service the people so wonderful and nice easily the best Thai restaurant hands down in the valley. God is good!!!

Terrible experience. Waitress was rude. It was overpriced and portions were very small.

Still unimproved. Assume someone is helping your ratings even though it’s still not up to standard

Had their Red Curry with rice and sorry to say it was quite mediocre. The curry tasted like it was watered down(probably was). On top of that, it cost 15 bucks! Whaa? I have been to so many Thai places in LA way better than this place and waay cheaper. Wont go back here ever again.

After four years of eating here, I’m finally breaking up with Talesai. The food is still good but unfortunately, the prices continue to rise as the portions continue to shrink. It cost us $ 50 for three curries and two small boxes of rice last night. The portions were so small they were not enough for an evening meal. We are small eaters and we were all still hungry after eating our full dishes. Talesai no longer offers any value at all for money. There are plenty of other Thai options, we are sticking with them now. I honestly wonder how this place stays in business with such a stingy attitude to portions.

Amazing restaurant! Great food and service. I haven’t found a thai place that makes better pad thai. The menu is extensive, delicious, and has plenty of options for vegetarians and vegans as well. You really can’t go wrong with this place. Make sure you have the coconut ice cream too! Definitely recommend this restaurant!

This is my favorite thai food in all the land. Every single thing you order from here will be top notch. I am in love with the fried rice, the shaking beef, the garlic chicken and the crab noodles. When my office was close we used to order from here at least once a week & sometimes I would order enough for dinner. If you get a lunch special if comes with a salad & a veggie roll. My only critique would be I wish the portions were bigger and some may consider it pricey, but in this case well worth it. If you go to the restaurant be advised parking is slim but the have a valet.

By far the best Thai food around– and I’ve been to Thailand, so I think I know what I am talking about. The service is always great and the atmosphere is very serene and clean. You must try the pad thai and the papaya salad if you are looking for something on the lighter side. If you’re a regular, like I am, you will even get to know the owners! Really is a must try!!!

The food is fantastic, I’m always here! They make the best Pad Thai and I’ve been to Thailand. The crab noodle is also a favorite.

Love this place! I always get the short rib noodle and the seared tuna, and it’s so delicious. You can’t go wrong with Talesai. Friendly service and awesome food.

I ordered Thai curry. But the food didn’t fill me up + the rice needs to be ordered separately. I ended up finding a most nearby fast food place to order something else instead. Sadly, they don’t have tom yum noodle soup. All they have are fried noodle. Overall, the food tastes like an Asian fusion café. Its ok /average, but not a very traditional & authentic kind of Thai food. The parking is not easy to get either.

Very unimpressed :/ I just ordered food delivery for an office meeting and the portions are tiny, I’m worried I won’t be able to feed everyone. I took an order of green thai curry for myself, and i can say it’s quite sad. It tastes a little funny and has a curdled milk look to it. Also, a very small portion for the price — which is on the high end. I’d say it’s not worth it with all the great food options in the area.

This Thai place is probably our favorites… cool, hip place to eat at, usually don’t have to wait for a table, great food, attentive and friendly staff, love it. Note they are closed Sundays, as we have tried them a couple times forgetting they are closed. Yellow curry chicken has white breast meat, never any dark meat or gristle which I can’t stand. Sometimes it can be a little pricey(especially for take out with the portion sizes), but I guess I get what I pay for. Great food, and people serving it that care.

8÷1÷14. Dinner Drive by the place and decided to try it. The clean nondescript décor doesn’t match the food they serve. It feels more like a European cuisine. Clean abs spotless. Table cloth and flower in a small jar on table. Larb($ 9) is sacked down in flavor and spiciness for the American palate. Minced chicken cooked with basil mint and spice to be served on lettuce leaves. Good but not great. Red Devil($ 15) is really the more commonly known Pad Kee Mao or drunken noodle. It’s sit-fry flat noodle with eggs, chili, bell peppers and giant prawns. It’s tasty but nothing special – you might get the same on Hollywood of San Francisco for half the price. Service is very friendly and somewhat attentive. It’s average Thai food for a higher-than-usual price tag.

This place was a pleasant surprise! I had the Shrimp Curry lunch special that came with a spring roll, rice and a small salad. The shrimp were a good size, cooked to perfection and the red curry had a wonderful flavor to it, not too spicy but it had a decent kick to it. I also really liked that they have an option for brown rice, definitely not a common choice in most Asian restaurants. Good sized portion, although it is a bit more expensive than most other places but it is definitely worth the upgrade.

So I stumbled upon photos I took while I was in this place and I was all, «This place NEEDS a review!» After a long, very turbulent flight into Los Angeles my father took me for Thai food. He insisted we go to this«great new place» called Talesai and the entire ride from the airport to this restaurant my father was raving over how fantastic the food was there and how it was«the perfect little Thai spot». Note that my dad just discovered this place so I’m not sure how«new» Talesai actually is. We started off with much needed cocktails, HELLO delicious lychee martini’s! Then we shared these delightful scallop things(sorry, I forgot the name y’all) in very cute blue and white china. For a main course, I had pad-thai with chicken while my father had this beautiful, very well done duck with vegetables. I tried his duck and I can concur! It was marvelous! The food that we had that night was great. The service was great and incredibly accommodating. They were fairly fast and considering how my father and I came in close to when they were going to close, they did not rush us out. Then even offered desert which we declined since we were both exhausted. The ambience was elegant and modern with just a touch of formality. The music was nice and it wasn’t too loud. Definitely coming here again next time I come to visit!
