While I’m reviewing Studio City might as well review Goodwill too. A bit frustrated because I tried to sell a bunch of clothes at Crossroads, but they wouldn’t take it… wasn’t «seasonal» and some were in too bad condition. So I asked where the nearest goodwill was, and the girl told me about this location. So I went here. Wasn’t bad. quick and speedy just dropped off my bags took my receipt and left. HOWEVER! The next time I was on Ventura Boulevard, I noticed another thrift store RIGHTACROSSTHESTREETFROMCROSSROADS. The girl didn’t tell me about that one, ugh. I should have asked her where the nearest THRIFTSTORE was. I don’t care if it’s goodwill or not… I just wanted to get ride of the clothes!!! Yah the parking lot is small… but if anything, just park anywhere & run in with your bags and run out lol.

Parking can be a nightmare. Tiny lot at busy intersection. Employee I encountered was not friendly but not outright rude. I did not feel welcome.

I have donated here multiple times in the past year, and every time I had a completely different experience than Stephy S. The staff were friendly and helpful, I got help unloading my car when I had a lot of donations, and I was given a receipt immediately when I asked. I guess it all depends on who’s working there at the time.

Wow. Just. Wow. I have always been a fan of donating rather than tossing things I don’t need in life and when I moved to Studio City I needed a new place to do just that. So one day I am driving down Laurel Canyon and I spot a Goodwill Drop Off Center in the little mini mall at Moorpark. Sweet! So I go home and load up my truck with bags of stuff and head over there. Once inside was a whole different scene than the usual kind of «Oh thanks so much for helping out» attitude I expected. First of all, can you say RUDE? There were 2 people working there and NOONE else in the place. The lack luster counter attendONT barely even acknowledged that I was there. When I asked if he could help me unload stuff from my car he rolled his eyes and mumbled, «I guess.» So he begrudgingly walks out to my truck, a mere 27 steps and takes one bag. Please note there are 5 bags left and heads back! I then assume I’m on my own here and carry the rest of them in. Once back in the store, the other attendONT is pilfering through my bags. Not to take inventory mind you, but pulling out the stuff that she wants! I look at her and she says, «Damn girl, why you gettin rid of this? This is hot, I’m keepin this!» In disbelief, I’m like, «Um, can I just get a receipt please?» as she continues to dig. The other guy is now smirking at me like, «Yeah, and?» and I’m ready to blow! I really should have reported it and I still might, but all I can say to you Unilocalers is, don’t bother with this place! The place and the people are just disgusting.
