Crazy, but I actually like my four-year-old daughter more when she is wearing one of the solid-color dresses with the little elephant icon that I buy here. Does that make me a bad parent? Or that makes me a great parent because I know what to dress her in to make me like her more! Ha! Which ever, this tiny shop has so much, and always so many great sales on simple cotton solid-color dresses.

This is a hidden gem and perfect place to find a unique gift for children or expecting mothers. Not the cheapest prices, not the best customer service but you will get a gift that will bring smiles to the recipient.

Caveat emptor! This boutique has charming items but terrible customer relations. I bought over $ 100 worth of items there, including a pair of small ballet flats on sale that were marked with a size on the bottom. When I got home it was clear that they were incorrectly sized. When I went to return them because it was obviously an error, the salesgirl there told me some gibberish about French sizes and that she encourage people to check the size against the other shoes in the store. Well, the person who sold them to me had no such warning. And, no returns on sale items even if they are marked incorrectly, because apparently I should have known they weren’t marked properly. A small store like this depends on customer goodwill and they have just lost mine. I won’t be back.

I stumbled across this store as I walked around the farmer’s market. Being a new mom to a 20 month old, I’m always looking for new stores and unique toys and gifts. This is just what I found at Entertaining Elephants. Very beautiful clothes as well as unique, eco-friendly toys. Although I thought the prices were a bit steep, they fit in w/the fact that everything is eco-friendly, so that is fine. I did like the fact that they carried Tom’s shoes for kids. I wish the store owner was a bit more friendly, I didn’t feel so welcomed when I was shopping, maybe it’s cause it was hot out, maybe she was having a bad day, but whatever the case was, I would still return and recommend the store. Especially if one is looking for unique toys and gifts.

Great unique shop for the wee little ones. One of a kind shoes, handmade! The best stuffed animals ever! I checked pricey but it should read pricey and worth it!

The clothes they carry are well made a stylish without being too fussy. They are also age appropriate — not too mature or too precious. Some of the pieces are a bit expensive(but justifiably so because they are so well made and interesting) but she has really great off season sales. She has a little table at the back of the store with toys to keep the kids busy while I shop. She carries some really great toys and a few very nice books. She also carries a cardboard playhouse that can be colored or decorated. I got a pair of sandals last season for my daughter that she wears all the time and loves. It’s a great shop.

This is a very cute little shop. They have great organic cotton basics for kids along with unique and different dresses for little girls, and super cute little shoes and accessories. The quality is top notch, these will hold up through all the wear and tear your little ones can put them through. They also have lots of wooden and organic toys, and a great selection of gift-able items, such as organic, sulfate free soaps and creams, and muslin swaddling blankets, to choose from. The shop is small, so I would not recommend stopping by during the Studio City Farmers Market. There’s not usually any room to move in there then, as this chick little conscience friendly shop is very popular. If you’re in the area, it’s definitely worth checking out.

I’ve gotten to the point with this store where I have to be physically restrained when I go in there. Love it, love it, LOVE it! Beautiful, 100% cotton pieces that are lovely, winsome and child-appropriate without ever being insipid or cloying. The colors are yummy and natural-looking, the quality high, the pieces inventive, fanciful, and just plain beautiful. And oh, my gosh, the girl dresses! Delicious! And for both genders I HIGHLY recommend the elastic bottomed sleep sacks — my 5 month-old has grown out of hers, sadly, but when they’re little-bitty there’s nothing better, softer, or more fetching to put them in. Also, the little hand-knit booties that tie around the ankles are fantastic and NEVER fall off. For those who find hideous decals, polyester fabrics, and«Daddy’s Little Princess» prints repugnant this is the place for you — EE is all taste, no tack. And it has decent prices, too. Yes, you’ll pay a bit more than at Baby Gap, but your kid won’t see themselves coming and going either, plus the stuff lasts forever(much of what my daughter wears was my younger nephew’s before hers, and his older brother’s before him) and you’re supporting a Mom and Pop, which, unless you dream of a world devoid of any business not owned by GE, you should. Oh, and nearly everything machine washes and dries. Nice staff, too. Just be careful to put enough money in your meter — I got a ticket.
