This place rocks! Love the FRESH sushi, Snow crabs, Oysters… etc and I even get the Hibachi ordered in the back. It’s never been a disappoint to us or our kid(which he only pays half price). Score!

Tried this place for the first time today. I am not a big fan of Asian buffets but the sushi selection was very decent compared to other places and the price is very reasonable. Not a very large variety in the hot food section but the food quality is far above of what you would expect from a buffet. The place has a decent atmosphere and was pretty clean at least for the time of day I was there. Definitely will be going back again.

Sakura has a really good sushi buffet. Many different choices and at a very reasonable price… The hot food choices are ok, just not a lot to choose from. Desert buffet is bountiful and varied. I do recommend Sakura for your inner sushi ninja…

It’s OK for the price but it really wasn’t that good, or remarkable. In fact, the most memorable event from my evening there was the kitchen and wait staff getting into some MASSIVE argument in the kitchen. Screams could be heard, and pots and pans tumbled to the floor. The other guests and I waited with bated breath to see what would happen next, but they had settled their differences and I resumed my meal. A little disappointed there was no token glass shattering.

Extremely valuable for Sushi for dinner. You can’t miss this if you are driving south from Orlando to Miami. Varieties kind of sushi and sushi roll will satisfy you with eel, salmon, tuna, octopus, crab meat, etc. They are not those cheap sushi you can get from some sushi bar combination. Seaweed is also great, but the oyster is just so so. They also have hibachi and Chinese buffet. But I am already full with sushi.

The sushi was limited and mediocre in quality. I was scolded by staff for not eating the rice of the sushi. The attitude and behavior of the staff was rude and discourteous. The hot food was a good variety and flavor. The price was reasonable.

We love this place. But please Sakura your sushi has been warm and flavorless the last few visits… and if this stays like this we will have to stop coming weekly… we love this place so we do hope the sushi gets better. Fingers crossed

My wife and I generally do not like buffets but decided to give this place a try on Jan 2016 Saturday 6pm. We came with our baby(baby was no charge) and the place is kid friendly. We eat out a lot and at both cheap thrills and swanky spots. We both thought the sushi was very comparable to the local Stuart places(Kazu, Yama, Benihanna, etc) and was fresh. There was a good assortment of sushi rolls, unagi and also they had crab legs and hot food too which were good. The place is clean and the waitstaff were prompt and helpful. I read some of the other reviews for this place and after leaving Sakura I think some of the negative reviews were way over exaggerated. For $ 14, I think this place is great. I almost didn’t come here because I was afraid of the low price for sushi. One reviewer complained about Sakura not bringing more hot food after 9pm. Shoot, this is Stuart not Miami night life. I would hope they stop bringing out hot food by 9pm if they close at 10pm otherwise they would be wasting a lot of food and money. I decided to write this review to offset some really unfair comments.

After reading all the bad reviews on the staff and the tip mess I found this place to be AMAZING. The staff was friendly and very helpful and the food was delish. I found the sushi to be device and the limited buffet bar due to holiday was a plenty. Don’t believe all the bad hype this place got. I will be back

I was a bit hesitant about coming to a Japanese buffet, mostly because the last place I went to was absolutely abysmal. Sakura is certainly not like the last one, but there are a few flaws. Firstly this is mostly seafood, so the first thing you smell is fish and sushi. Secondly some of the meats, especially the chicken are cold, which turned me off of my appetite. The donuts, however are absolutely delicious, and the fried rice was very tasty. I will say one other positive is the style of the restaurant, it really gives a small feeling you’re in Japan. I’d come back, but only for a special occasion, nothing casual.

So, we spoke with manager and showed her our credit card receipts and bills with overcharged tips and she refunded the overcharges. We decided to give them another shot for dinner tonight. We are evidently on the persona non grata list(aka the *hit list). Dirty dishes were allowed to pile up on the table before someone grudgingly came to get them with a scowl. Water was never refilled. We asked once and waitress scowled, said okay, and never returned(as we shall probably not). We have been return customers since they opened, but I guess we are done.

Used to be a loyal customer and now I will never come back here. The food is decent but the staff here is horrible(The sushi chefs are very nice). The waitresses make me feel uncomfortable with fake over the top compliments and will flat out point to the tip line and tell you to but the 20% amount. They adjusted the tip amount my family left a couple times and after they get called out refused to give my family service the next time we came in. Literally not even a drink refill after it was requested. Horrible way to treat your repeat consumers.

We just moved into the area and decided to see if this buffet was going to be a favorite family spot. It exceeded our expectations in every way. The food was very fresh and reasonably priced. Because of the other reviews, I was worried about snotty service. Our wait staff was delightful! Very sweet and accommodating. By the time we left my daughter and I were hugging our waitress. Hubby had no problem tipping 20% either. Working as a server is the hardest job on earth. I’ve yet to have crappy service anywhere but then again I don’t treat people like garbage either. You’d be surprised how far a compliment and a smile goes.

Cheap place to go for lunch. A lot of options for a $ 9.00 buffet. My only bad experience there was when a waitress was upset over me tipping her 15% and she abruptly left the table with a really bad expression on her face. They need to know that for a buffet, you can’t really expect over 15% in tips, especially since the water was not even refilled.

First time there today for lunch. The sushi is mediocre and the sushi chef was very rude. When I asked the sushi chef if he could refill one of the empty sushi items, he rolled his eyes and walked away. The rest of the staff seemed nice and the cooked food, unlike the sushi, is very good with a very large selection.

Wow! Largest variety of sushi I have ever seen on a buffet. Spare ribs… well, the best«Polynesian style» I have had in years.(Yes, I know it’s a Japanese buffet, but hey! there are a few Chinese options offered too.) Well worth the cost of dinner and the drive.

Very impressive for a sushi buffet! And for under $ 10 at lunch it’s a steal. The sushi was good, and there were easily 20+ rolls to choose from, plus several different sashimi options. Also a cold bar with peel-and-eat shrimp, mussels, seafood salads, fruit, etc. There’s also a hot entrée area with tempura, miso soup, and several different kinds of Chinese dishes(e.g.: Mongolian beef, ginger chicken…). Plus, there’s also a cook-to-order hibachi area! Finally, there’s a desert area with some pastries and ice cream. Will the sushi here blow you away? No. Have I had better? Sure. But I’ve also had worse — WAY worse. Keep in mind — this isn’t some super-expensive swanky sushi restaurant. For your money it’s fantastic. Plus, the staff is very nice and attentive, the restaurant is clean, and there’s certainly plenty of food to keep your taste buds happy. I’ll certainly be back the next time I feel like pigging out! Note: for you booze hounds out there it’s beer/wine/sake only.

I am not a fan of buffets but Sakura was a pleasant surprise as the variety of food was great — the sushi was fresh and the price was reasonable. Of course the downside was that I are too much ;-) but that’s because it was good and with over 50 types of dishes the gluttony in me came out ! Enjoy while you can! Ronn the hole on the wall Dodd guy !

This is not your classic all-you-can-eat Asian buffet! This is a sushi lovers dream. This restaurant serves quality sushi in a buffet style. Not only is the sushi fresh, the assortment is worthy of a non-buffet sushi restaurant The chefs are visible and you can see the sushi being made fresh. There are at least 10 types of Nigiri, 30 types of Maki including several very creative pieces. They make hand rolls as well. There is a hibachi(teppanyaki) corner which serves classical teppanyaki still grill to order as part of the all-you-can-eat. The non sushi part of the buffet has several Asian salads including Kimchi, a cold bar with crab legs, raw oysters, raw clams, and peel n eat shrimp in addition to other seafood. It also has a selection of Chinese dishes, 4 Asian soups, crab Rangoon, fried chicken wings, a dessert selection and an ice cream selection. The dinning area is well segregated from the buffet area to reduce foot traffic. The restaurant is clean and the wait staff are cheerful and courteous. The best part is that this is all for the price of a inexpensive Asian buffet.
