Restaurant is located in a nondescript strip plaza with Publix as the main anchor. So, not very exciting from the outside. Easy parking. Beer and wine. First, comments about the place and the staff. Pleasantly surprised by the inside. This is not a swanky, glittery, urban place. Nor is it as casual as the likes of Duffy’s or Chili’s. Instead it is a pretty, pleasantly comfortable place, accented with tasteful Indian motifs and low playing Indian music. Also it is noticeably neat & tidy. We were welcomed then seated right away by a regal woman that we gathered from a few questions was one of the proprietors. She asked if we had been there before(we hadn’t), then let us know she was very confident we would love our meal. She then handed our table over to our attentive server, a cheerful guy with a killer kilowatt smile. Service was great from start to finish. Second, the food. Our server had lots of recommendations for us based upon our preferences. He asked us what heat level we liked: mild, medium, hot. We chose medium. Our table ordered Kingfisher beer, freshly made and hot garlic naan(yum!), samosas, a curried lamb, various chicken dishes(lots of good ones), fragrant rice, onion chutney. Everything was delish, made with care. Served quickly. The portions are not huge, one person only. If you are a big eater, then you might be disappointed with the entrée size. Our table did not have any leftovers(disappointing because the food would be great reheated for lunch). This is a pleasant place to eat with good food and good service.

I love India Palace! We have visited India and I’d say this is pretty legit Northern Indian Cuisine. I always call in and order Chicken Tikka(soooo yummy — and probably the most diet-friendly item you’ll find on the menu) to which, each time they reply«Are you sure? Not Chicken Tikka Masala?» No, I say, I like to eat healthy. Their food is fresh, herbal, and legit Indian. The only thing I wish is that they would offer Southern Indian food. I’m a total sucker for Masala Dosa, and they don’t offer any dosa at all. Such a bummer! The owner, I don’t remember her name, is lovely. She always dresses so beautifully in her sari and asks me how Daniel is doing in India. I’ll absolutely continue supporting them and their small business. Friendly, attentive, and fresh food. What more could you ask for?

Really good biryani rice and Naan bread. Nice location, in the heart of Stuart(at least it felt that way for a business traveler like myself), friendly staff(a tad slow to be acknowledged at first, and it was not that busy), and hearty portions of good food with a homemade quality. I will be back the next time I’m in town.

Good food, not great. I was looking forward to have my mother try Indian food for the first time. Most Indian restaurants have lunch buffets, however this one did not. Butter Chicken/Tika Masala(one of the most popular dishes) not on the lunch specials so ordered from the regular menu. Large portions, but expensive. We were the only people there. They keep strange hours, so call ahead, we had tried to go two other times prior.

Excellent my husband and I went and enjoyec a great meal. We order the dinner for two which was a five course which gave us an opportunity to sample the cuisine. The atmosphere was inviting and the service was great. Definitely go back.

I agree with everything Mandy C. says except that I thought the service was excellent. The hostess greeted us immediately and kept our water glasses full, and our party of eight was served our meals by the time we finished our appetizers. If you like eggplant you must try their version, not to mention the biryani.

I was very excited to try Indian food in the PSL/Stuart area. I came in with my parents and we ordered 3 different dinner plates, the variety appetizer, and lentil soup. The food was good, not great. Our butter chicken was dry and overcooked. I’ve had better Indian food, but it’s still wonderful to have Indian food locally. The service was friendly and helpful, and the restaurant and bathrooms were very clean.

Being an Indian, I don’t think the food is Indian at all. Especially the biryani and the curries — they don’t taste anywhere near to what Indian food tastes like. This might be a consolation for Indian food in Stuart, where you don’t find much Indians — but West palm beach is better than this. I wouldn’t mind the 30 minute drive for better food though. They need a better chef I guess.

I am giving this restaurant four stars mainly because of the great customer service. The waiter helped us by suggesting certain dishes and we were amazed. It is a blessing to live in America and be able to enjoy different style of cooking from different cultures. We may unite as one nation through food. The food tasted like eating a home cooked meal… no processed food over there. Keep it up.

As Indian places go I would rate this only a three at best. Good food, not great. Service is always very good though!

The food was amazing just the right amount of spice to make it go down nice. A genuine Indian atmosphere with great service.

Most Indian places consider it a challenge when you ask for something extra spicy; however this is not one of those places. Great chicken tiki masala with large peppers, chicken and onion pieces but a little on the mild side for spice. Their butter bread isn’t overloaded with butter and lentil soup is as advertised. Good meal and friendly staff.

Had a very nice dinner here. Vegetable samosa and mixed veggies curry. I probably should have ordered it Hot, but I wasn’t sure how hot hot is and I’ve been burned in the past so I went with a safe option. So IG could have been hotter for me but the taste was wonderful. I ate everything that was put down… so it hit on all counts…

A great way to satisfy your Indian food craving! I got the chicken tikka masala and the saag paneer. Both were delicious and filling. They did put large silces of onions in my chicken tikka masala which is different but it was still tasty. The service was good and they will bring you more rice if it is needed which is great! I went for a late lunch and got a delicious lentil soup as a courtesy. That was a nice way to start the meal. I am glad there is a good Indian restaurant in Martin County. I look forward to going here again.

Best meal I’ve had in a long time. The Chicken Pikka, Chicken Curry and Lamb dishes were expertly seasoned and served with a fresh and delicious taste. The Gulab Juman was perfectly fried and served with a delicately sweetened rosewater syrup. Don’t even get me started on the buttered naan. You can tell when well cooked food is being served and this is as good as it gets. Delicious.

I have not been to India, nor am I Indian, however, I have eaten a lot of Indian food in my lifetime. The food at India Palace was decadent and savory. I had the vegetable samosa, chicken korma and garlic naan. They were all fantastic. The Korma had cashews in it, rather than almonds, but I thought it was especially delicious. I thought the restaurant was very clean and well maintained which made it nicer than many Indian restaurants I have been to. The staff was friendly, as well. My only complaint was that the service was very slow. No one ever came to take our order and eventually we had to go ask someone. It turned out to be worth the wait, though.

VERY authentic Indian food! The best I have had in Florida! Excellent flavours, great service and very reasonable. I am British so it’s been very hard to find a good indian… And this one is very good indeed!!!

This place is superb. I stopped by with my cousin who was visiting from Tallahassee. My cousin has never had Indian food before and I absolutely adore it – plus, this was supposed to be my birthday treat, so I told her about this place that I found on Unilocal and we zoomed on by. The décor is absolutely breathtaking, but the food was DELICIOUS! They brought out chips and salsa before our food arrived(which pretty much showed up 10 minutes after we ordered) and it was delicious! Although, the salsa was a bit too spicy for my meek tastes. I ordered the butter chicken and garlic naan, which was divine. My cousin had some dish with lamb, I am not sure of the name. Now listen, I do not even like lamb, but I had some of her entrée and it was amazingly good. I’ll definitely be stopping by again and I highly recommend it.
