The ladies working here were very friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming! They sell a ton of equipment and supplies for sewing, embroidery and quilting. They have a huge room in the back for classes, and they offer free «learn your machine» lessons. I don’t sew (my sister does) but coming here made me a lot more interested in learning. They also have a «lounge» in the back corner with a couch, TV, and snacks (cookies, coffee, tea).

I’d never even heard of a sew & vac before, and the combination still seems random to me. This shop was full of machines, including a longarm quilter with frame that sells for about $ 10,000. I was just curious, but the staff tutored me on the operation of several sewing and quilting machines (including the longarm monster). They also stocked exactly the piece I needed for my ancient Fleetwood machine and probably any other sewing machine ever created too… plus fabric and basic sewing supplies. Really, it’s a jungle in there. The manager (Jermain?) knew my machine better than I did, but the rest of the staff (ladies) seem kind of batty and disorganized. No matter. I still got what I needed.
