Proud owners and justifiably so! Atmosphere is homey and friendly — like mama’s kitchen. The pollo guisado was full of flavor, and the Cuban was probably the best we’ve had. I am a huge lover and creator of Latin foods myself, and this place really hit the spot. Happy to see it in the Poconos, where variety lacks. We will be back with the kids!

This is hands down the only spanish restaurant that is on point with their food! Everything’s fresh the flavor is banging people! This definitely kicks mamasitas house no hesitation! Affordable as well I would recommend this place to anyone at anytime

My husband and I visit La Cocina Dominicana every Sunday because that’s when they offer the best sancocho I have ever tasted. As soon as we enter the restaurant, they greet us with smiling faces and their excellent service makes you feel right at home. We also really enjoy their natural pineapple juice. We love this place. especially on sundays! :)

Not what I thought it would be. I tried it to see if it was good but it wasnt. Food didn’t look appealing. Taste was okay I guess for people that are not Spanish, but if you’re Dominican you can tell it needs more seasoning. The Mojito was not a Mojito is was more of a pure garlic paste that taste very nasty. Plantains were cut small so it was thinly cut than anything and full of oil. Placed an order around 11:20 didn’t get the food until almost 2 pm. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
