Ken & Company Salon

A lovely Aveda Salon on Main Street. Hideko rocks and everyone who works there is professional, pleasant and do a great job with the customer experience. I’m a recent transplant from NYC and this is on par with my previous salon experiences. Fair prices for quality work.

GREAT JOB ON COLOR & CUT~GREAT COMMUNICATION! Today was my first time at the salon even though I have passed it many times over the years. I will now make this my «Go To». I had a wonderful experience with Hideko. She did a fantastic job and made sure that I was happy with the outcome when I left. After years of NYC salons, the price was terrific!

I have been going to Ken & Co since Nov. 2012. Hideko is the best, but I must admit, all the people there are truly professionals, but with a kind touch to make you feel at home and at ease. Never had a bad experience. I drive 62 miles — one way, to get my hair done there. I love Hideko! She’s the best.

If I lived locally, this would HANDS DOWN be my go-​to salon! I came here to get my hair done for my wedding by Hideko. She did a wonderful up do using some photos I brought it, and that says a lot since I have a frightening amount of hair. She was a dear and all the stylists seemed friendly and happy to be working there. I hope I can manage a color & cut when I’m in town one day, because I know that Ken & Co would do an amazing job!

I started coming «back» to Ken and Company about a year ago. I should have made that choice so much sooner! The overall service is so wonderful, I have the best haircut of my life, and Bill, who does my hair, is wonderful. On top of everything, I find the prices to be competitive for a much higher level of service and an incredibly nicer atmosphere than where I had been going previously.

Ken & Co. is a wonderful addition to downtown Stroudsburg. We are fortunate to have this clean, friendly, salon. Ken is very conscientious about all phases of hair care. Debi is very skilled and up to date on any hair issue I have asked about. I always leave feeling great about what she has done with my hair.

I came here this past weekend with my bridal party to have our hair and make-​up done before my wedding and we had the best experience. The staff was so helpful, friendly and patient and everyone’s hair and make-​up came out beautiful.
It was the perfect start to the day. I definitely recommend Ken & Company if you’re getting married in the area!

I don’t always get my haircut… But when I do, it’s with Hideko at Ken and Company!
The salon is gorgeous! Always super clean with an attentive and friendly staff that grabs you a drink as soon as you walk in. My favorite Aveda beverage? Their classic mint tea! YUM!
Your haircut always starts off with a little consultation, then a relaxing head/​shoulder massage before you get beautified. How cool is that?!
It’s a little over an hour for me to get to Ken and Company from my house but it is WELL worth it (and a lot less frustrating than going to NYC)!

Having recently moved back to the area after 10 years, I was incredibly thankful that Ken & Company is still going strong! I had a straightening treatment done today, and not only did it turn out beautifully, but my stylist, Corrin, took the time to understand exactly what I wanted, answered all of my questions, and I trusted her completely. I now have a fabulous new cut, and the treatment came out even better than I had hoped for! Everyone there is super friendly, professional, and knows exactly what they’re doing. Ken was even there and stopped to say hi to me. Salons like this are few and far between — I’m so lucky that this is close to me! It really is a no-​brainer, I’ll definitely be coming to Ken & Co. for a long long time.

I gave this Salon 2 tries, while it is very clean, the staff is friendly, I feel the cuts I received were sub par to say the least. The first time I went the girl who cut my hair was very nice, but did not really do what I asked and did not cut enough off. The second time I went, the girl was also very nice, but did not do what I asked and cut off Too much. Not to mention there was nothing very special about the cuts. This latest cut is kind of awful actually. My ends are not very even and it just does not sit well on my shoulders at all. I am hoping it grows out quickly! I am very disappointed. Both Cuts were very «boring» and I do not feel they were worth what I Paid. $ 50 the first time and $ 40 the second. I feel I have gotten better cuts at less expensive salons. As I said, the place is clean, staff is friendly, but I do not think the stylists are very good, from my 2 experiences.
