Not worth the money. Dirty, equipment falling apart, just run down. You would think with the amount of money you pay, it would be clean and they would replace old equipment and fix the leaking roof. Spend your money at another gym.

All the workers and lifeguards were pleasant and help whether asking for a pool toy to going down the water slide. The kids pool was warm and the Olympic sized swimming pool was cool, but pleasant. A great place to spend the afternoon with your kids.

The rec center has nice equipment, a nice pool, and they keep it very clean, however the front desk employees are clueless and rude. No one ever has any idea where classes are, how to sign up for them, or how to pay for them. They advertise classes on the wrong days… It’s a mess

This recreation center is very clean and the staff is helpful. There are many programs run through here and it is the «hub» of strongsville. As a member of this facility, I have been going here since I was a little kid. The machines could use some updating but the overall condition of the facility is in good shape. The pool is always clean and the weight room doesn’t smell. It is the best recreation center in the area in my opinion.

This place is just ok for my purposes. Its close to my parents house when I am in town. The weight room is small, but the equipment is in decent condition. Cardio area has up to date machines. If the weather is good, I usually make the trip to Fitworks in Parma.

I have been a member of the Strongsville Rec Center for at least the past 15 years. For a community center they do a nice job of keeping it clean and up to date.
The busiest days are Mondays but I still never have to wait for a machine regardless of the time of day. Bring your own music if you are going to do cardio, they play it but at the annoying level of not really knowing what song it is but just that something is on. If you are going to the weight room they do a nice job of playing loud music to cover up the grunting :)
They offer student discounts and its $ 10 a day if you aren’t a member. Usually Mon-​Wed are member only days after 3.
