Robeks

I’ve been to nearly all the northeast Ohio Robeks locations and the one in Strongsville for some reason just does it so much better than any other location. Not to take anything from the other chains, but it always comes out the best when it comes from the Strongsville location.
I’ve been a Robeks patron for nearly 10 years (primarily at the Strongsville location) and have tried almost every single item on the menu. There is yet to be a choice I’ve made that I haven’t enjoyed. There are some I like more than others, but I’m never disappointed with anything. It is a bit pricy, especially if you go as often as I do, but it’s well worth it.
A few of my personal favorites are the Big Wednesday, Hummingbird, Acai Enegerizer, and the 800lb Gorilla. However, I encourage frequent visitors to try new items when they go, you can’t go wrong with any choice. Also the Lenny & Larry muscle Brownies they sell are amazing and hard to come by anywhere else. If you are a fan of smoothies and haven’t had Robeks, you need to get there!

I love the raspberry romance! I’ve gotten a wrap from here before too and it was delicious. Plus I love the 10% off discount I get for them being a partner with my gym! Win win!

Terrible experience. Young staff with no ability to provide good service. Ordered three wraps and three smoothies. Smoothies were good once we got them. They just call out what it is and set in on the counter only to b swooped up by the closest customer to the counter without regard to when ordered. Ours got taken twice. Poor system of distribution. The wraps all came out wrong. One was horribly wrong so had to take it back. Took another 30 minutes before we had to finally say forget it. I politely requested a manager and they all just looked around. I merely wanted a refund for the wrap so I could leave. every staff member there seemed shocked and amazed that they could make a simple tortilla wrap in less than 30 minutes. Horrible experience and very disappointing.

Robeks just does juice and smoothies better, plain and simple. I have tried to find someplace that is better, but have been unable to do so. No other place compares with the quality and taste. Oh, and the food here is pretty good to. I recommend this place to anyone that enjoys great tasting food and smoothies, quick service, and wants to do something good for your body.

Checked out this Robeks, after having a good experience at the one in Avon.
The facility is clean, the staff helpful. seeing the juicer right out front was nice. I like to see the produce going into the juicer for real. It was a relief to get some real food — kiddo loves getting take out and Robeks gives him that special feeling of having food «out» while also being healthy.
Parking here is tight, and there was some creepy guy in the parking lot hanging out — so I do not recommend this for anyone with a kiddo. (I did not see him in Robeks, so he is probably associated with one of the other businesses. either way he makes the parking area an unfriendly place.. in the middle of the day.)

I love coming here, plus on these days when it gets dark at 5 It is bright yellow and sunny inside :) There are so many options to choose from and the cashier is always willing to make suggestions for you or can create your own. The hummingbird is my favorite.
I haven’t tried any of the food options that they have because the smoothie is a meal in itself.
Don’t forget to get a frequent customer punch card!

Probably the biggest Robeks I’ve been to. Also probably has the staff with the least amount of personality.
Why am I obsessed with Robeks? Ugh!!! I need to start eating more of my calories instead of drinking them and THEN eating them! But it’s so hard not to stop at Robeks. Dammit.

I try not to review national chains/​franchises because I think Unilocal is more useful that way, but Robeks is the bomb and must be shared! They are a smoothie and shake shop with some health sandwiches and what not. What makes them pop is their large menu and their boost options. You can choose from many different «boosts» to add to your drinks for a particular effect. Some are vitamins, some are proteins but all have a special little kick to give you a truly holistic meal!
I am a sucker for the Naturally Hazelnut coffee smoothie. It has frozen yogurt, soy milk, and fresh chopped hazelnuts. It is amazing and the primary reason why I am typing this review! The sandwiches and wraps are just ok and the main reason why I only give Robeks a 4 star rating. They also offer a buy ten get one free card program, always a good marketing program in my book. Plus the kids working there usually make too much and you get a free size upgrade!

Pricey but delicious. ‘Regular’ size smoothie is more than enough (20oz?).
I usually get the Caja Superfruit smoothie and it’s awesome. I’m sure I wouldn’t get it if we didn’t use buy 1 get 1 coupons though, as it’s $ 6 and some change.
Should probably support a less expensive, more local, less franchise-​y establishment.

Clean, bright, colorful. Awesome staff and the best smoothie around.
