Docere Medical Spa & Laser Center

Went to Docere for laser hair removal on my underarms and am beyond pleased! Wish I had done this decades ago! Emily at the front desk is such a pleasure to deal with — always happy and accommodating! Kathy, the technician, is extremely knowledgeable and greeted me happily each time I went for a treatment. The doc did a great job making sure I had no questions and everyone explained the entire process extremely well to someone who was a little hesitant because of sensitive skin issues. I cannot recommend Docere highly enough for anyone considering laser hair removal! I plan on going back for my legs for sure!

I was looking for a place I could establish a trusting relationship with, and feel comfortable going to. Initially I was hesitant, thinking this was going to be some posh spa with everyone full of attitude… trying to get as much money from me as possible. Instead, staff was very friendly. Dr. Sevallos was very kind and in fact conservative compared to the place I went before-​ideal image. He did what he felt I needed, not more. I am excited that I went, and discovered what a great place this is. I think this is the best way for them to keep a good name and get return clients. I will be going back without a doubt.

I started going to this place by finding a facial on Groupon and I’ve been going back for three years now. The place is beautiful, and Dawn and the other estheticians are great. The treatments are pampering, although they don’t massage your arms or anything during a facial, but I love that they have a medical aspect as the name of the place implies. Their goal is more than to relax you, it’s to improve your skin. I also love the organic eminence line of skincare products they use. I’ve started to use them at home as well. I’ve also done a laser pixel treatment with Dr. Viscomi who was awesome and I loved the results. After a bad stint being overcharged for my underarm hair removal at Ideal Image, I’m looking forward to getting additional treatments on my legs done here. Wonderful, relaxing atmosphere. Lara performed my first-​ever facial, and it was a relaxing, wonderful treat!

Lara was amazing! I bought the Groupon for the deep cleansing facial, fruit acid peel and jet peel. She explained that this was nothing like the «froo-​froo» feel good facials you get at spas. This was a medical spa and would be different. Holy extractions! She explained everything she was doing along the way and why she chose what peel to do, what mask to use, etc. She was thorough when asking about medications, allergies, and products I currently use. The oxygen jet peel was so interesting. It was like power washing my face. While I could never normally afford their prices, I can’t wait to buy another Groupon and return! HIGHLY recommend Lara!

Docere is a wonderful establishment… period. Dawn is the best. I have been there for several facials and peels. She is kind, considerate and very skilled. Everyone is great there.

I was impressed with everything from the cozy look and friendly staff to the service itself. Dawn did my microdermabrasion, and she was very informative and pleasant. I will definitely be coming back!
