Not really much to say, the calamari and general’s chicken were the best. The salmon sushi was surprisingly not fishy. The tables are not the cleanest and the bathroom is not clean.

Decent restaurant for our family of 6. The stir fry area is the best bet. Other food selections are typical of Chinese buffets. Bathrooms can use more cleaning and updating. Overall ok and would return.

Run away… The place is filthy. Greasy floors. Carpet is black… Buffet is ok. When it opened years ago, it was great. Not so much any more. Bulk napkins stored on the floor. Oh and use soap next time to clean the glass between booths… OMG

The worst buffet. Chicken is frozen and cold, old rice, everything is fried with no flavor, picked over salads and desserts. Go down the block to Panda Express for better quality.

I could walk into this restaurant blind folded and know exactly where every dish is located because they never change their items nor location of where the food is. I will bet you anything that they serve the food from the night before as well. When we tried their the first time it was actually pretty good. But as my family starting going their more and more often we just got sick of it. I literally wanted to throw up. Anyways the prices are just ok. The service is ok and the staff is ok. I really don’t have anything to say because their dishes is god awful!!! I am really surprised all these reviews are wonderful. If your looking for a good Asian restaurant I wouldn’t recommend this place. GOSOMEWHEREELSE!!! Try Royal Buffet on Golf and Roselle Road. The food at least their isn’t disgusting!!!

Great food! Good service and good people. This place has it all when it comes to hibachi style grill food with a buffet… can’t beat it and the price is good too!

Not a bad place. I have seen this place at a lot of wal mart locations. They do have a stir fry area which is good. But overall, it’s like any Chinese Buffett. A little bit expensive though. For two dinners and two drinks it’s 27.42. We had a 3 dollar off coupon. It’s above average clean. Service was good. But this place doesn’t have the«wow» factor.

Came over here after checking Unilocal.I knew that it was a buffet and it wasn’t going to be anything fancy. The good thing about this place is that it’s cheap $ 11 for a sunday lunch. Fresh hibachi grill. Nice servers. The bad, sticky table, humid, and the rice was gross. I understand if they can’t make a good dish, but you shouldn’t mess up on the rice. Would I come back? Nah. There’s plenty of other choices around that I can get a better experience at.

5 star service quality food, and great price. I believe this is the best restaurant out there. I m talking from my experience and what I saw at this restaurant. First they took u to ur table and polite ask what kind drink would u like .when u get your food from massive buffet and back to ur seat the drink and straws r always already there. when u finish ur first plate and get more than come back to ur seat ur drink hand been refilled and empty plate hand been gone. They will give ur check with cookies when u r eating dessert. What u get late they will refill food that uwant that s call service Talking about food taste I think food there always best and qualities. They serve calamari shrimp salmon crawfish baby clam that’s my favorite stuff. Hibachi away is best I can pick raw thing like meat egg and some vg ask experienced chef cook it right before u and cook as u my favorite season . The prize is reasonable 10.69 dinner 7.99 lunch. How could they make money. But there still have someone cheating age to got some discount and have eat and run away pretend forget to pay

I went in there in the evening of July 2014. It was packed, and where we sat was very tight. The table was stickey, and I think if you were a very small person you could fit at this table! The food was gross, and stuff was hanging of foods that people dipped their spoons into! This place was awesome when it first opened but has gone down hill! I was sick when I got home! I will never go back, and I warn you to stay away unless you want to be sick!

Second time eating here yesterday. Service is okay. Food is average but i must say they got the crispiest and juiciest fried chicken! The place is cramped. Not enough space between tables. PS: their sushi is crappy. Don’t get it. They’re consistent with its quality

There is one redeeming quality about this place: the price. You get a buffet for around 13 dollars w/drink.(10 if you have a coupon.) I went here on a whim and I have to say everything about this place sucks except the price. Here are some examples: The Atmosphere: Table was sticky, booth was torn on both sides, even the iced tea the waitress brought me was warm with all the ice melted. The Food: Crawfish: were small and clearly dirty and not purged. Crab: small and not cleaned Salt and Pepper Shrimp: small and had huge black veins in all of them. Beef dishes: the beef was clearly spoiled and left a rotten meat after taste. Egg rolls/Spring Rolls: Soft and not crunchy at all. Wonton Soup: Giant wontons with very little filling and thick pasta-like wrapper that disintegrated after I touched it with a spoon. Stuffed Shrimp: Stuffing had no taste and the shrimp was tiny with a massive black vein. Hibachi: Food looks like its been left out to spoil all day. That was about all I tried before deciding to leave to avoid food poisoning. The Service: Decent because I did a decent job of serving myself. Conclusion: Don’t come here unless you are desperate for calories because your money would be better spent at Portillos next door.

Come on people, it’s only $ 7.49 for a(lunch) buffet. Some of these reviews are way too critical. It’s like criticizing the Dollar Menu at McDonald’s — it’s pointless. From the outside, the place looks sketchy. Once you walk it, it’s crowded with a lot of families with kids running around. It’s crowded because of the value — you get your money’s worth for the price. I was expecting worse because of the appearance but I was pleasantly surprised. The fried chicken was crispy and seasoned well and the variety was plentiful. There were only a few sushi items to choose from but there were plenty of other dishes that stood out. The crawfish boil was also surprisingly good — the broth was spicy and unlike any crawfish that I’ve had before. I got my money’s worth after devouring five plates of food. It’s surprising that they are still in business because you are getting much more food for the price you pay. Haters are going to hate but you can’t deny that you are getting more than what you pay for.

Place was pretty packed where people were all over the place and felt like a free for all with the food. Customers seemed rude and just cut in front of you when you are about to get food. Also, when the good food comes out, it seems like vultures swoop in and pile there plates up a foot high where the tray that was just brought out is gone within a couple minutes. There is a lot of greedy people where they seem to think food is scarce or maybe they think that if they bought food like shrimp in the store it would cost a lot, so they stock pile their plates trying to take advantage of the value? Overall, the place is dirty where the floor was sticky and food is very greasy. I didn’t eat a whole lot of it or didn’t join the bandwagon of being a pack of hyenas when food came out because I knew it would not sit well with me later due to the greasiness. Sushi rolls were also so small and was a D– just passing as sushi.

In driving down Barrington Road in Streamwood on one weekend afternoon I came across a place called«Hibachi Grill & Supreme Buffet». They seem to be a chain as I was fairly certain I had eaten at a similarly named place before, but I was hungry enough to decide to stop in and give it a try. The first thing I noticed was how crowded it was. Both the parking lot and the inside of the restaurant itself were jam packed. The number of little kids there might lead one to believe this was a combination Chuck E Cheese/Toys R us disguised as an Asian restaurant. If it’s this crowded it has to be good right? Once I got over to the buffet area I noticed a huge line of people queued up to get food at the Hibachi. Not wanting to wait behind 15 other people I sorted through what was out at the actual buffet. Pretty much everything I took back to my table was subpar, I got cheese wontons, various types of chicken and nothing stood out to me as being good. Realizing there had to be a reason for the long line at the Hibachi I got in the very long line and waited. The Hibachi here works a bit differently than some other places with them cooking four or five peoples plates at a time. They had a pretty good selection of things to add such as noodles, rice, eggs, imitation crab, shrimp, other meats, mushrooms and so forth. After about 15 minutes of waiting my food was finally on the hibachi. The process for cooking all five orders at a time isn’t fast either. I’d say each group of five plates takes about 10 minutes for them to cook. After around 30 minutes I was back at my table with a plate of hot food in hand. Now, it would be time to find out if it was worth the wait. Everything was very well cooked, the choices of spices and oils they added worked very well. The eggs mixed with the noodles made a very good combination, the meat was well cooked. I was very pleased with the outcome of the food from the Hibachi and had the time it takes to get food from the Hibachi not been so long I might have gone for a second plate. Overall I was pleased with the food off the grill from Hibachi Grill and Supreme Buffet. The actual buffet food wasn’t so hot. If you’re willing to spend the time waiting for the grill(or go on a less busy day), it’s definitely worth the price if you like grill food. I’m going to give this place a solid four stars and would definitely return here.

My family and I always come here when I come to visit, and it has quite tasty foods. Most things are definitely on the greasy side but I enjoy the foods they have here. My favorites include the mac n cheese, beef broccoli with lo mein, BBQ Ribs(not very asian I know but it is well seasoned and tasted very good), chicken wings(its good when its piping hot and fresh out of the fryer!), crab ragoon, fried shrimp, steamed clams, this egg puffy sweat bread, and the ice cream! I always mix two ice cream flavors together(for example, strawberry and vanilla to make strawberry cream or orange sherbet and vanilla to make creamsicle). Yes I know, so creative. :] Service is very quick and there are waiters and waitresses always passing by to clear the tables very quickly. It does seem like a waste to have to wash so many dishes but they keep it sanitary by not allowing used plates to re-enter the buffet line in case of contamination. There is plenty of parking around this grill and it is very children friendly. I have been to this place twice and this specific location is much better than other Hibachi grills because of the variety it offers.

Back again recently for another AYCE during the weekday. Without high expectations this place was not bad and not good either. There is definitely a interesting mixture of food typical of asian buffet. The ones that come to mind are fried shrimp, real tough roast beef that you cut yourself, a grill where you give the chef a bowl of items you want stirfried, they can also cook slices of beef on the grill but often overdone, very small sushi poorly wrapped and sashimi of unknown fish. What I do enjoy are the fried chicken drumsticks, steamed clams, mac and cheese, salt and pepper shrimp, and the sweet and sour chicken. You get what you pay for which is why it is so cheap. I would come on a weekday, less busy and no lines. The other cool plus is they did away with the self service ice cream and have the little ice cream cups.
