BJ’s

I really like this BJ’s over the one in Fairfield because they seem to have more. This BJ’s has a huge deli and rotisserie chicken and turkey which the Fairfield club doesn’t have. I also like the layout of the BJ’s in stratford. It seems larger and easier to get around to find what you need. The only downside is that they don’t have the liquor store that the Fairfield club has.

Very nice selection overall. Helpful staff and quick checkouts. This bjs club is always packed.
Meat department although a little pricey is very well organized and the meat is worth the price.
Cold cut department is very large and well staffed
I frequent this bjs even though I live closer to the derby store because this bjs has a much better selection and the staff is on point.

If i ever need anything in bulk and at a great price, this is the place i go. It has pretty much anything i would ever need along with some extras. You can buy anything from food to TV’s, and all at a great price.
Before its Stratford store opened up my family and i went to the one in Fairfield, and in my opinion, this one is MUCH better.
There’s also a small Verizon wireless stand inside which can be convenient, the place itself is huge and kept nice and clean. The parking lot is huge with plenty of parking.

Love BJ’s, great place to go for bulk items, the meat and other necessities.
I just love walking through the isles of BJ’s and look at the many products they have. The place to shop and safe on some ‘precious’ dollars, in this economy.
You need a BJ’s card though, it works the same as Costco & Sam’s Club.

Bj’s great place to save some money. There is a membership fee that last you for about a year. Don’t remember what I paid but I think its in one of the other reviews. Worth it I would say definitly worth the mebership. You can come off saving a lot of money shopping here but you also can end up spending a lot of money here as well. Because. Mostly everything you purchase here will be in bulk so if you big on snacks and junk foods I would be wary of your purchaisng here or brining the kids with you when you shop. I like to purchase my cosmetics here and I aslo shop here for my meats. They sell them in bulk and for realy cheap prices compared to your local super markets. They also have electronics, tires jewlery and even send coupons to members every month. Great place to save money clean place inside and good service.

Well it took me over a year of living here in CT before I broke down and spent the $ 45 yearly fee to join BJ. It was money well spent. I now buy most everything in bulk. I store extra stuff in the basement and I am all set for any disaster or hyper-​inflation.
It makes sense to buy stuff in bulk now before the prices go up later, even if we don’t get hyper-​inflation we always get inflation between %4 to %5 per year. I like the store for most items except for produce. I go to Trader Joe’s for produce they taste better and fresher there. They have nice cloths with low prices — they are designer brands (can’t beat that).
OK I am so lazy. I meant to write this review for the Fairfield BJ’s store but I didn’t find it so I am just going to let this fly. It shouldn’t matter which BJ’s because they are related. I go to the BJ’s in Black Rock/​Fairfield, but I am certain the Stratford store is the same.
Bottomline, get the membership you’ll save yourself a lot of money and have a nice supply of food and items. Bring your own bags.
You can use coupons there too and save even more money. Sign up at the store directly and they give you coupons worth a lot (I forgot the amount because I didn’t sign up at the store).
You can even buy mattresses and tires there. They have stuff that the regular stores don’t have. It’s a very international type store so it’s fun to shop in. I feel like I am in a different country (cheap vacation).
