A great B&B, as good as we have ever been in. Breakfast was fantastic, room was clean and decorated with antiques. The iron claw bathtub was marvelous. Our hosts were very helpful. The clip clop of horse and buggy going by on the street enjoyable.(Amish country) The only way its gets better is for it to be free.

This is the cleanest, friendliest, most accommodating and comfortable bed and breakfast I can remember staying in. Denise and her husband Rich make sure you have everything you need for your stay, whether that’s specific food for breakfast every morning(she asks if you have any allergies, preferences, dietary restrictions), maps, directions, recommendations on what to do, extra blankets, or good conversation – they’re simply sweet, friendly, great people who take great pride in their Inn and love meeting new people. It was a pleasure speaking with them both. Bed: Relaxing country-home atmosphere, with lots of quilts, pillows, couches, books, tables and chairs. Their home is your home while you’re there. The bed itself was stiff and good, with clean sheets and a warm quilt on top. We stayed on the 3rd, topmost floor, and while everything was spotless with newly renovated bathrooms, it was a bit creepy up there and the ceiling is quite low(if you’re over 5’8″ you’ll have a lot of trouble walking around your room). I’d recommend staying on the 2nd floor, which has enormously high ceilings and very large bedrooms with king-size beds and abundant sunshine. The living room is well laid out with a bathroom on the first floor, TV with tons of cable channels, and drinks/water/shoofly pie/snacks sitting and waiting for you. After cycling or kayaking, walking in here felt like coming home to a friend’s house. Breakfast: By far the best part of staying at the Limestone is eating whatever Denise decides to cook for breakfast – pancakes, egg frittata, peach turnovers with cinnamon and yogurt, glasses filled with fresh melon, berries and with blueberry sauce, strawberry muffins, zucchini bread with a pineapple glaze, delicious coffee and orange juice. It was a spectacular spread both mornings we were here and surpassed any other B&B breakfast I’ve ever had(in Vermont, Pennsylvania, New York, or New Hampshire). Sure, there are a ton of bed and breakfasts around Lancaster county. But you’re a fool not to stay in this one.
