These guys have always been good to us. After Amerigas ripped us off for years with(pricing as we see fit) Holtzman came in, changed the tank. Now I know what Im paying. PS Amerigas charged me $ 200 to pu their tank. The cherry on the cake. a$$h0ez. For those that are complaining about the $ 200 minimum, take 2 minutes to read the agreement YOU signed. Stop playing victim because you didn’t know. Holtzman also installed a gas line for my BBQ, very professional, did what they said they would for the agreed price. Decent company to deal with.

Holtzman Propane are a bunch of crooks, who do nothing but take your money… BEWAREOFTHISCOMPANY!!! First of all, Holtzman propane has a game plan, because they already know that homeowners with a Holtzman tank are required to use there services. So, basically they can bully us, and we have no choice but to take it, unless we want to pay to own our tank, and that costs $ 1600. They charge too many fees…$ 125 if they come out, and the money isn’t there, $ 250 for emergency delivery, so on and so forth.

So we too received a $ 200 bill for not hitting the«minimum usage»…awesome. It seems completely ridiculous to me that you have to pay more money for trying to SAVE money… Oh, and the fact that we were never told about a «minimum usage» fee — only a «Holtzman reserves the right to assess an annual fee». If we don’t want to pay this minimum usage fee then we have to pay to have them come out twice a year b/c they won’t give us the minimum 800gallons in one visit, unless of course we want to pay to have an inspection for going under 20%…so either way we’re on the hook for several hundred extra dollars a year no matter what we do.

$ 210 «minimum usage rental» We just received it due to the fact we only used just over 700 gallons Seems a bit shady that the were limiting residents to 300 gallons/60% fills last February and then charging us $ 210 because we didn’t purchase the required minimum 800 gallons. To add insult to injury, our tank is @ 50%. So if they would have filled it up 16 days ago we would have been over the 800 gallons.

Their customer service act like they are doing the customer a favor by selling gas to us. we use to be theri customer, until recetly. in va. I called to order propane dlivered, the woman whopicked up the phone was rude, not helpful. initially she said yuhave to pay$ 125, then she said no have to pay $ 199 to check the tank before wedelive gas, if your tank is empty. this is ater beigtheir cusoeoryars… w switched to another company. there are manybetter companies that deliver propane in va.

I’ve had a bad experience with this company so far. They don’t return calls, and when I do call, I get the run around regarding which person I should speak with. Apparently callers need to speak to the person handling their account, despite the fact that the person handling my account never seems to be there. Why can’t someone else help? We set up a date for them to hook up our propane, but they failed to tell us that someone had to be present in the house or they couldn’t complete the installation.(Despite it being all outdoors.) I call in to schedule another appointment, but can’t do so because my service rep isn’t there. Lo-and-behold, I get a call the next business day saying they’ve scheduled my call for that very day, and can I be there? So I take off work to be there for the hookup, only to have them call and cancel at the last minute. Now I have to re-schedule again… Is there another option for propane service in the area?
