Nice atmosphere with a beautiful fireplace. Seafood was excellent. Bar atmosphere is quiet and serene with good service. A more mature crowd.

The rolls and the salad dressing were great! The filet was truly about as tender as day old roadkill even medium rare. Really, my guess is it may be sirloin. That said, the wings were ok. Just kidding about the salad dressing; they never actually brought it in time to eat the salad. I have no idea why this place gets the rating it has; must be relative to the to the fare at the Turkey Hill down the street.

Our party of four was shown to our table shortly after arrival. The menus were all placed on top of the napkins. Don’t do this anymore. Now we all have the germs from previous customers on our napkins that we will then wipe our faces with. Good beer selection but the dunkleweizen was served ice cold. I had to wait for it to heat up before drinking it. I got the full order of catfish. It was an enormous amount but it was so good I ate the whole thing. My wife had the shepherd’s pie and really liked it. One more gripe. The waitress served our drinks by grasping the rims of the glasses. Why do they do this? Now I have the germs she picked up from the menus, money, and everything else she handled in my mouth. Pick it up by the body of the glass!

Drove by Saturday, and they now have some signage to help patrons get in. Bravo!

Love, love, love the food! It’s cozy here and the people are friendly. I can’t say enough for the food here, been here many times and the food has been on point every time. You can a have burger for lunch(they are awesome) or go out for a romantic dinner. The crab cakes are to die for with lump crab meat. My husband loves the selection of beers here as well.

Great place to grab dinner. My wife and I were heading to sight and sounds and needed a place to eat quick and it was perfect! The food is good, service friendly and has a good cozy environment.

A place my husband and I frequently go for good consistent food and service. The smoked salmon BLT salad is always delicious! My husband loves the suicide wings. Service is always good and prices are very reasonable for what you get. Highly recommended!

Perfect Lancaster restaurant! Overlooking beautiful Amish farmland and rolling hills, the scenery can’t be beat. Everyone in my party got something on the Specials menu, which is updated daily. The drinks were great; variety of craft beers, and unique cocktails. A must-visit on your trip to Lancaster! PS, ask for Ian’s homemade blondie brownies.

First time at fireside grill and was very impressed with the décor and historic architecture. The interior is wonderfully decorated, clean, and welcoming. The bathrooms are spotless! Waiting staff very receptive and attentive. The food was very good and the beer & drinks ice cold. Our meal was reasonably priced and well prepared. I would recommend to anyone in the Lancaster vicinity.

Really great place with a really great, affordable kid friendly menu. All four of our dishes were awesome. The bar/tavern half was really neat too. ALOT of great beers on tap.

Food is great at decent prices. Today’s experience was subpar in the hospitality department. The server was awful. She was an older lady who had no care for the customer. Not just out table but the table next to us. Drinks were always empty 14 $ surf&turf burger came out with no crab cake. She took it back to the kitchen and the medium burger is now well down. Again food is good and will go back but not soon and never with that server

I love the Fireside and my husband and I frequent the restaurant. The ambiance is always comfortable and inviting. Their salads are wonderful, the sandwiches are great — the Black Bean a Burger is my favorite. The wait staff is prompt and attentive. I don’t think we’ve ever had bad service. I love their beer list and that it’s always changing with new items. Their wine list isn’t local offerings which I think is unfortunate with all the fantastic wineries there are in PA but i guess I can’t drink beer and wine at the same time anyway and it would be a tough decision if they had Local variety of both! I also tried their Easter buffet. It was wonderful but I never get my money’s worth at any buffet because I simply cannot eat that much. It was a fantastic spread though and everything was delicious.

Service was blah. I had the(½) Cajun catfish entrée which was quite tasty, hubby had ½ shepherds pie which was ok. Lemonade tasted very watered down. Don’t bother with the apple crisp, which the waitress informed us was nuked, she was concerned it was too hot… Um, yes!

Good food, but great service and atmosphere. I had the chicken and sausage jumbalya and was expecting a little more spice. Cool, historic location.

Reliable good food. I enjoy their salads, especially the Southwest Grilled Steak Salad, the Mediterranean Spinach Salad w/blackened chicken, and the Cobb Salad. The chili is thick and yummy w/some mild spicy jalapeños. The braised beef is delish and we enjoy the shepherd’s pie. Good burgers, pulled pork, along with tasty nachos. I order their wings dry so I know I get them crispy but would prefer them predressed but they often are then undercooked for my liking. We like the tavern room for a cozy atmosphere.

Have been here 3 times and have never really enjoyed anything. Had a burger that was just OK. Went for the Easter brunch which was OK. Really can’t remember what the meal on third visit was. The staff was always very friendly and attentive. I ordered apple crisp once and they had it in their brunch buffet and it was just canned apples topped with some oats. Uninspired and underwhelmed.

Came here for the first time while staying in the adjoining hotel. Didn’t eat anything however giving it 5 stars based upon service, craft beer selection, and atmosphere.

I ordered the baked ravioli(half) and although it was filling, it was mostly sauce and cheese and 4 raviolis. It came with a salad before, which had a copious amount of dressing, which kind of defeats the purpose of eating a salad. But to each their own. Our server was very nice and checked in with us frequently. However, when we walked in, the guy who seated us seemed annoyed and was scowling, which was kind of a downer. It’s a cozy place for lunch, especially since there’s a fireplace.

Love this place. Go all the time. They have an amazing view of farmland when you sit outside and the food is dynamite. I highly recommend the smoked salmon appetizer and smoked salmon salad. Every now and again, you’ll have a server that isn’t what I would describe as «high end.» But I have never had someone unprofessional as some suggest in these reviews. Also, anytime you have an issue they, without question take care if everything.
