Absolutely the best wine bar! Awesome atmosphere, great drinks(try the jam butter wine, or the Moscow mule!) And amazing food! Best red velvet cake I’ve ever had! And the artichoke dip! Yum!

Great happy hour and lady’s night. I have been there a few times the food is good and so is the service.

First off, the location is beautiful. Cellar 59 is located in a beautifully restored house that makes a relaxing and romantic setting to enjoy a few glasses of(fabulous) wine and small plates. The parking lot is a little rough, but nothing overly detrimental. Friday is flight night, meaning they have a pre-planned flight of four wines for around $ 12(although you’re also welcome to create your own flight just as any other night). I highly recommend it. The flight I got included a cava — champagne is not offered in the standard flight option — and a rose which I expected to hate… it was so wonderfully balanced and refreshing that it ended up being my favorite of the flight. I even ordered a second glass! We also ordered the goat cheese flat bread for a snack… so good. A little small for the price, but it was so flavorful that I’m not complaining. My husband ordered a glass of wine and a craft beer, and he was very happy with both selections(that were totally picked at random, I might add). Overall, a charming place I would highly recommend for a date or girls night. Clean, beautiful, has great options as far as beverages and food, and has very accommodating staff. It’s a little more expensive than my usual spots, but I think it’s worth it for the quality of wine, service, and atmosphere you receive in return.

Disorganization at this establishment. The food was underwhelming(didn’t even bother to pull out my phone to take pics) and the server seemed to have a section was to large for him to handle. The wine flights were a great price and a great way to get a sampling. The space is too small of the live music they had as well… too loud.

Cellar 59 in Stow is a nice option for book club or meeting with family. This is a wine bar and shoppe not a winery. So they have a menu of a few wines and then walls of wines nice prices if u plan on enjoying 2 glasses then a better deal to pick a bottle and there is $ 10 corking fee. The pizzas are really good and the stuffed pretzel bites are good. Prices on food are a little pricey maybe come later in evening and get something as an appetizer. The servers are warm and helpful love the porch but on a crisp Oct inside is inviting and cozy

What a cute little wine bar! My fiancé and I dropped by for a quick drink and a snack before we headed to a hot air balloon ride in Brimfield. The ambiance in this place is great. There’s a lot of charm/character on the inside and even more on the nice ourdoor patio where we sat. We each ordered a glass of wine and split an order of bruchetta. Because it was happy hour and«ladies day» our tab came to $ 20. Not a bad deal, I think. I wish we could have stayed longer or gone back but we didn’t have the time. I’d love to come back if I’m ever int eh area.

Cannot say enough wonderful things about this great place. It is lovely to have a place with the choice to either stop in for a quick bite and glass of wine or to settle in for the evening and listen to local, live music on the weekends. We just had my daughters wedding shower there on Sunday and they could not have been more accommodating or taken better care of us. The food was delicious especially the pizzas and the wine was affordable and delicious. I love supporting local businesses, especially when they get it right!!! You won’t be sorry you have them a chance. Say hi to Monica and Carrie…

Went again this past Saturday and they have extended their menu! They added an assortment of flat bread pizzas, crab cakes, artichoke asiago dip, tomato basil mozz salad and much more that I can’t remember off of the top of my head. We tried the asiago dip w red pepper flat bread? and tomato basil mozzarella salad. It was delish! I can’t wait to come back and try more of the new menu items!

It’s been about 7 months since my last visit and review and Cellar 59 seems to have improved… it’s like they’ve found their groove or something. So, building on my last review(which was still good and 4 stars)…Great wine selection, great atmosphere, great service. I still think the food menu could be a little more robust, but it would still never stop me from coming in for the night. Just don’t come absolutely starving. They’ve got yummy snacks like hummus and really good cheese and fruit/meat plates along with some desserts(which I’ve never gotten around to trying) that are perfect for just relaxing and having something to munch on and complement the wine, and it will satisfy a little hunger, too. The inside atmosphere is very nice… old home, clean, woodwork, fireplace. But my favorite is the spacious wrap around porch with the knotty pine ceiling. So warm and homey. With the live blues band in the corner(who was REALLY good, by the way), add the tasty wine and snacks and good company(including the owners and employees), you’re going to have a really nice, simple, relaxing time. Bottom line… we’ll be here more often. You should be, too.

My fiancé and I have been here a few times and have always enjoyed the atmosphere. In the summer you can sit on the patio and listen to great local bands, and in the winter cosy up inside with nice hearty bottle of red. Customer service and a friendly attitude go a long way with me, and both are top notch. It’s the kinda place where they remember your name and what your drank the last time you were there. I am not a sommelier, but I think they have a pretty good selection. Some people complain and give bad reviews because there is no free wifi. That’s what Starbucks is for bro. Get a bottle of wine(or two) and get saucy. Good times, good people.

Nice location, very pretty facility, I’ve been 3 times now. Once in fall and sat on the deck for ladies night, once just a friend and I inside, and last with a group of friends for a bday. Each time we had nice service. The wines are average, I do appreciate they offer a flight. The food is tasty although a little pricey, if sharing then the cheese plate works well. Good atmosphere, there was a guy singing with a guitar on a Saturday we were there.

We were so excited when Cellar 59FINALLY opened just 3 blocks from our house! Even better, we can walk there! We were pleasantly surprised to see their great selection of craft beers(including out favorite Left Hand Milk Stout! Yum!). I did try a sweeter wine as recommended by the waitress, and I don’t recall being disappointed. We haven’t tried any of the food options, but we did think the cheese and meat tray was a bit pricey. I suppose we’ll have to try it first before deciding if it’s worth the price. Overall, though, if you live in the area, definitely worth a visit! 1÷31÷14: Just made another visit last night and it was definitely a step in the right direction! I had the sampler flight and really enjoyed trying new wines! The prices seemed to be a bit more reasonable(could be because we recently returned from South Beach where everything was supper pricey…), and everything was really good.

I really hope the owners read and take to heart what so many are saying about this place. The renovation is gorgeous, no doubt about it. It’s cozy and the patio is wonderful. It’s something the area really needs and have been so excited about going. BUT, the prices are insane! This is Stow, c’mon! We ordered the charcuterie & cheese board and for $ 18 was unimpressed. For 18 I expected a little more than 2 cheeses and some cold bread. AND8.50 for CHEESECAKE? What the heck! Wine by glass is also overpriced and limited. They clearly want you to purchase the bottles here. Great looking place with potential but the prices will make me go elsewhere for much better quality food and selection. Such a shame!

For being in Stow, I give them lots of credit. The area desperately needs something with some sophistication beyond El Campesino or Parasson’s(haha). Great wine list, nice small plates and great use of old space.

My husband and I stopped here on a Friday afternoon. The service was good and we really enjoyed sitting on the deck. The inside is beautifully done. However, there was a very limited selection of wine by the glass. And the limited menu of food items that they had was significantly overpriced. We most likely won’t be going back. Too bad, since we were really looking forward to Wine bar close to home.

Great place to go with friends and relax after a long day. Impressive selection of wines, amazing and friendly servers, and the ambiance and patio are unbeatable! Tuesdays are retail wine night, no corking fee on bottles, and the charcuterie and cheese plates go great with the wine.

Nice place great selection. Service is a little slow I think they are still figuring it out. One BIG no-no…this place does not have wi-fi! Are you kidding me? Sorry no 5 stars with no wi-fi for a place like this.

The care and hard work the owners put into the building, food and selection of wine and craft beers really shows. The inside is a spacious, cozy area. But if the weather is nice, the expansive patio makes for a great seating area as well. Live music is a great addition. Will definitely return.

A nice intimate, quiet, cozy place that would be perfect for a date or to grab drinks before dinner. The house itself is absolutely stunning; I love the way its decorated ! You can’t go wrong with the plank roof on the ceiling of the wrap around porch or the original wood work you’ll see throughout the place. I’ll admit, it’s a little pricey($ 11.00 for a glass of their Jam Butter Chardonnay) but they offer ½ a glass of wine on Weds nights for«Ladies Night» and Thurs night is” Sangria night” :) Our waitress was adorable and super friendly. They also offer small plates but this would not be ideal if you’re looking for an actual meal– although the proportions were large. I had their hummus & pita chips as well as their charcuterie & cheese plate– both a great selection. Although there was one downside to my visit(not the wineries fault!), 2 couples sat at the table next to me & let me tell you– this woman’s perfume was so strong you could taste it! It gave me an instant headache– you know the kind where the fumes burn the hair in your nostrils & makes your eyes water with regret. Had her nauseating fumes not been choking the air out of my lungs, I would’ve written a WTF note instead of contemplating using the menu as a fan… the sad part is, I was sitting outside! Otherwise, I will definitely be returning — Chinese fan in purse & wtf slips @ reach — cheers!
