Whole Person Health

I called this medical office two weeks ago regarding acupuncture. I am still waiting for a return call. Very poor regard for potential new patients. Thanks but not thanks, I’ll find a physician that actually cares.

I cannot say enough great things about this place. I see Kan for acupuncture bi-​weekly. He is so talented and VERY well educated in Chinese medicine. He is funny and makes you feel comfortable while being friendly but professional. He goes above and beyond to offer homeopathic treatment suggestions for at home to help with any «issues» you may have in between sessions. He explains what he is doing, why he uses certain pressure points and how things work. I always ask questions and love hearing his reasoning for doing certain treatments. I found this place through a family friend and have now been recommending it to everyone I know who may like or benefit from acupuncture. I get treated mainly for anxiety, stress and undiagnosed tummy troubles. I have been seeing Kan frequently for 4 months and feel the best I have felt in 2 years. He also will ask how you are sleeping, how your appetite is, mood swings, cravings, body temperature — etc. and he will treat accordingly to help make you as balanced as possible. Appointments are 1 hour-​ish. You leave feeling like you could doze off to sleep on a cloud! They also apply tiny adhesive temporary buttons to certain pressure points when your session is over, to extend the treatment over night. I love this! I always sleep AMAZING that night.
What I love about this spot compared to other acupuncture places I have tried, is that they offer pricing packages. Most places charge $ 80 per visit no matter how often you go. Whole person health offers discounted bulk packages! So if you are going to make frequent appointments it just makes sense to pay less. They also offer a health insurance discount — another thing MOST places do not offer.

I have been to Whole Person Health for massage and acupuncture and I cannot speak highly enough of this place. The staff is incredibly nice and very knowledgable. As an avid runner, I have monthly massages and Bob is by far the best massage therapist around. He goes out if his way to make sure that you receive the exact kind of care you are looking for and the man knows his stuff. I suffered from chronic lower back pain and, after seeing Bob, I am now completely pain free. I highly recommend this place.

Wow! My regular massage therapist had no appointments open so I was lucky enough to give Theresa a try. I had an excellent massage on a day when my neck was killing me. Theresa was excellent. I walked out feeling so much better. She has a very healing touch. The price was fair and good. $ 60. For an hour. It was all in all a very positive, professional experience. Highly recommended!
