Husband and I had dinner there last night after shopping at Jordan’s Furniture. Wanted to have dinner in the area and Foleys came up in the list of restaurants. After having to go around several detours due to the local Christmas Parade, we finally made it to our destination. When we sat down at our table our server Colleen brought us a basket of homemade potatoe chips. Yum! What a different and fun way to start the meal. We ordered the Combo Platter as our appetizer. Huge… and delicious… a must try! As we waited for the entrees to arrive, our server brought us a basket of warm dinner rolls, homemade corn bread, and homemade blueberry bread. The menu offers something for everyone’s taste. For our meal we had the French Dip Sandwich and the Smothered Terriaki Steak Tip Sandwich. Both were awesome sandwiches served with fries as our side. My steak tips were ordered medium rare and were served that temperature. The entire staff at Foley’s was so pleasant and attentive. Can’t wait to go back to try other items reviewers have recommended. Try Foleys Backstreet Grille… a great neighborhood eaterie.

Had dined here on a Thursday evening for the first time. We had made reservations and we’re seated right away. The restaurant overall is small and quaint with a small bar side as well. The menu has something for everyone, fairly good selection. I personally had the clam chowder after having read so many reviews that said it was delicious, they were right. It was quite good, could have been a bit warmer though. I ordered the Fishermans platter, large portion/can easily be shared. Followed with a peanut butter cookie sundae. Our server was outstanding, very attentive and really knew how to manage her tables well. Overall, a nice restaurant at reasonable prices. Great for families or a small gathering.

Awesome. Only open for dinner which is too bad because I work in the area but live elsewhere so I don’t get to go as much as I’d like. Try it. You won’t be disappointed.

Had not been there in a while. My Wife ordered a Cheesburger and it was amazingly tasty and perfectly medium rare. Great flavor and a great portion. I ordered the Turkey Dinner. When it came out, there were only three pieces of Turkey. The gravy was congealed and the presentation was not pleasant. I told the Server that I thought for $ 16.99 they could do a great deal better on the portions. She went and asked the Manager to speak to us(ten minutes later) who told us that there has never been a complaint regarding portion size for the last ten years. Evidently she started working there when she was 10 or 11, She stated that there was at least 4 ounces of Turkey. It was represented as ‘Hand Carved” yet all slices were uniform indicating that it had been sliced by machine. She said many state that it has too much food! There was a huge amount of stuffing and it was served in some sort of shallow bowl and not a plate. It did taste good and the butternut squash was flavorful. For $ 16.99, I would expect a hefty portion of at least 8 – 10 ounces. As I stated, my Wife’s burger was a least 8 ounces and it was only $ 9.99. Huge portion for the Burger — miniscule portion for the Turkey. I left Hungry and had informed the Manager that I would probably have to go out for Dinner after my meal. All young kids on the floor and I have socks older than the so called Manager. She did not even offer us a Dessert on the house for our trouble. Dave, take a closer look at this offering and put some turkey in your turkey dinner and it will be a huge seller…

Either«off-nights», or just simply rushed food. My wife and I were really hoping this would be our Summer«Go-to» spot for good food and outside dining. While the Patio is quiet and very comfortable, we’ve actually thrown away MOST of the food we were served. The first visit, she ordered fish and chips, which were lightly battered, fresh, nice dish. Her onion soup looked to have a full pound of bland mozzarella, and flavorless. My Creamy tomato-basil soup had way too much«milk» or whatever took the place of cream. I ordered a seafood medley plate that was a mushy mess, completely lacking of any flavor(Spices, Hello ?) OR color(scallops and shrimp weren’t even close to being seared, just«clumps» of tasteless white seafood in a soggy mess of tomatoes and pasta. Picked around it and gave up. Took it home and threw it right into the garbage. Service was friendly, just a bit slow with the drinks. The Bill totaled $ 78 with 2 rounds of drinks. Too pricey for the quality. Gave them a 2nd shot. We returned and ordered Potato skins. I’d love to show how these are made — simply scooping all the potato out and dumping(again, that cheese) a pound of tasteless cheese and sprinkling soggy bacon bits on top does not an «appetizer» make. We both ordered Greek salads, mine with chicken,(again) with un-seared or any hint of browning, tasteless chicken«clumps», on a way-too-big and unworthy($ 16 !!!) salad. Both came home with us to help fill our trash bag, Again. All together, we paid around $ 130. for a few glasses of wine and beer, and fish and chips. Huge FAIL. The patio is nice. Go there for a drink, and don’t spend a lot on food. Such a disappointment.

The lambchops are the best around! Their signature Sangria is delicious as well and I love the patio dining. There are so many things to love about this place! Oh, and the service was great!

Love this restaurant! My husband and our friends tried this restaurant mainly because it offered outside seating. Our entire experience from beginning to end was phenomenal. Our waitress was polite and knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. She was very attentive and never tried to rush us out even though we did linger a little while after dinner. The outside seating was clean and conformable and perfect for a summer day. The menu offered a nice variety and the specials were a great value. The turkey tips and steak were cooked to perfection and the burgers and sandwiches were large and delicious. My husband could also not stop raving about the clam chowder. I also really enjoyed the assorted bread and homemade potato chips before the meal. We will be back many more times this summer!

Updating because I finally tried their clam chowder(absolutely the best… SO Thick and amazing!) and also sat out on their beautiful new patio, which it would highly recommend! The patio has heaters(if they are necessary) and a lot of great ambiance. Try it on a nice summer day or night!

I adore this place for solid comfort food. We’re still new to town, so seeing all the town regulars in there could be a little intimidating, but the staff and owners are so sweet(I’ve never been called sweetheart/honey so many times in one evening!). We ordered dessert to go, and the owner(we think), wrote out comprehensive instructions on how to prepare the dessert at home… it was the cutest thing! And then she came back to make sure we could read it okay. The food is not spectacular, but it’s consistent and solid. The homemade chips are a treat. The patio is a nice newer addition. It just feels comfortable here, and I totally dig it.

From the first time to my most recent visit last week, foleys has more than satisfied my dining needs and then some. The staff is always welcoming and I’ve not waited for a table once. From having a party of 2 – 8 no wait and we were all amazed with the food. Pricing is right where it should be, I even feel I’m getting a deal. If you’re in the area definitely by pass the rest and go to the best foleys back street grill!!!

I was in last month on a Thursday night. It was a little busy so there was a wait. When we finally sat down we waited at least 10 minutes before the waitress came over to greet us. When we finally ordered we waited a half hour, maybe even more for dinner to arrive to the table without the waitress even coming by to say sorry for the wait or anything on why it took so long for the food to come out. The food was okay but nothing spectacular. I ordered a shrimp and scallop dish with rice. The sauce tasted pre made and very sweet. It was just okay. I would be willing to try Foley’s again and will hope for a better experience.

This place is a favorite of mine and my husband’s. We try to go a couple times a month on Fridays. Stick with the seafood dishes b/c those are so fresh and fabulous. i have never been a fan of scallops, but the Seafood Leah dish sounded too good to pass up so I decided to try it. This is the first dish where I have enjoyed scallops!!! Now I order it every time we are there(I always get 2 meals out of it) unless there is an item on the specials menu that grabs my attenion. Last time it was the Lobster Ravioli, which was one of the best meals I’ve ever eaten. It’s a good thing it was a special b/c I would be huge if I could eat that every time we are there. My husband LOVES the ribs and he is a rib connoisseur, so whoever complained about the ribs is definitely wrong! Clam chowder is also the best we’ve had in New England(very thick!).

Used my free birthday dinner coupon. I have not been to Foley’s for a while and we were truly disappointed. Why? 1. Nachos Grande were terrible. Processed cheese whiz or slices melted on to chips. Cheese had zero taste. truly awful. 2. Clam chowder tasted like it had been canned. Had that tinny taste. 3. Ceasar salad with Steak Tips — the chef needs to learn how to make a Caesar. Steak was okay but nothing you cannot get at Ninety Nine. 4. Baked Seafood Casserole was good but flat tasting and cole slaw very dry. Summary, Foley’s is a nice local restaurant with nice décor but a bit overpriced for food that is average at best. You can get the same meal at Ninety Nine for less money.

Yum yum yum. This place had me at the Bruce themed menu. Very cute and there were tons of options on it. Loved the fresh chips and the rolls and bread. The cranberry bread was heavenly. I could have eaten just rolls and beer and been happy. They had a short draught beer list but we were happy with our selections. The BF also had a glass of the sangria, which while a bright magenta color, he really enjoyed. The chips were very salty but they had a nice spice to them and I appreciate a nice touch like that. BF got the fish and chips, I got the nachos. Unfortunately, another place in Easton got them on both counts but I would come back to Foley’s. I wish there were more veggies(tomato, lettuce, jalapenos) on the nachos but I did get them without the chili or chicken so I bet they would be more substantial with them. I also had to ask for salsa with them and there was no sour cream. :/The BF’s fish and chips was a good size portion but he was a little underwhelmed. Our waitress was sweet and the place was very busy on a Friday in Lent. We’ll definitely try to come back and try some other options.
