I went in yesterday for a California wrap and was pleasantly surprised. The interior was much cozier than I expected. Although there weren’t many people in here(two other diners), my wrap did take a while especially since it was cold. However, it was huge and very tasty. If they do well with something as simple as veggies on a wrap, I imagine that their other offerings are good too!

The froyo is amazing and its huge! They also have really good salads too. The food is very yummy. I have been here many times and i have always had a good experience. The people that work here are really nice. I took off a star because sometimes service can be really slow. It is still really good though.

By far the best pizza in Stoneham! Subs and fresh homemade soups. This place is a gem. Delivery a bit long, but she said that on the phone. So next time I’ll pick up. Wonderful food!

Amazing prices and their Froyo is tasty! I get vanilla mixed with Oreo and coconut. Their bread is also delicious.

Awesome food, no dairy free desserts on the take out menu or menu offered on foodler. Do not be mistaken by the tofu frozen yogurt milkshake. I called a few days ago, asked if it had dairy in it, but when reordering it today, putting that I have a dairy allergy, they called and said they make it with milk, not an alternative. Do not make this mistake if you are lactose intolerant or have a dairy allergy.

The food is AMAZING. I ordered via Foodker a few days ago and was floored! I got the Redsox sandwich with extra chicken olives, pickles, and dijon mustard. It was packed heavily with chicken and coleslaw, tasted excellent. I also ordered the brownie sundae and a chicken pannini. Delivery did take a while, I think the owner delivered the food. She was very pleasant. I am so glad I found this café. I love a great deli sandwich!

Our office orders out about every day. Ordered from Arielle’s through Grub Hub yesterday for the first time. The owner herself delivered our food as they were short handed. She was very polite and professional. The food was also good. We plan on ordering again soon!

Two strikes– they’re out. My coworkers and I have tried Arielle’s twice now and won’t be trying again. We really, really wanted to like it but there’s just no way at this point. The first time, we didn’t get our delivery order for 2HOURS after we called it in(maybe 5 sandwiches total) and received a paltry 20% off. The food was room temp by the time we got it, but it had potential– I had a grilled cheese with tomato and avocado, and the quality was there if the execution was flawed. The second time, we thought we’d be smart and call the order in for pickup. We had 3 sandwiches and were told it would be «30 minutes at least» because there was a big order going out. That’s fine, no biggie. We were on our way about 45 minutes later(thinking at least 30 minutes and knowing the last time took 2 hours, we thought we were safe) and received a call asking where we were and if we were going to pick up the order. On our way– be there ASAP! Once we parked and walked up to the store, there was a sign on the window saying«will be back soon» and no one in the store. Our order was sitting on the counter, taunting us. We called, asking when we’d be able to get our food, and the reply was that the owner(?) was on her way back from dropping off the big order and was on Montvale Ave., to return in 5+ minutes. Having to head back to the office for a meeting, we ran over to another place, got lunch in about 30 seconds, and were on our way back to the office when we got another«where are you?» call(almost 15 minutes later), and when we tried to explain we didn’t have time to wait around, we were hung up on. Yup, HUNGUP. A few minutes later, another call came through but we were so appalled by the lack of customer service that we didn’t answer. The voicemail my coworker received was so unbelievably rude– the owner called her«lousy» and put all the blame on her. Sorry, there was never a mention that 1) you were the only one working, 2) needed to leave to deliver a large order so there wouldn’t be anyone there, or 3) needed us to be there at a certain time so you could go. Any of those short requests/explanations would have changed everything. There were a hundred other ways to handle this situation, and we were rendered speechless with the way it went. You know, she may have been having a hard day. I get it, really, I do– I’ve been the only one on-staff when orders come in and you’re scrambling, trying to make decisions when you have inputs coming from 10 different directions. But before you lash out, maybe take a minute to think the situation through. I live and work nearby, and while the menu sounds phenomenal and I love the idea of being able to get froyo and panini in the same place, the abhorrent behavior of whom I believe to be the owner makes it impossible to try again. So disappointed.

Great little café in the heart of Stoneham. Great customer service with a smile. The food here is amazing as well! Great panini’s and a wide selection of sandwiches and pizza. Don’t be concerned with any of the reviews that are negative. While this is not a five star restaurant, it is a great place to stop for a meal. I would recommend anyone to check out Café Arielle in Stoneham.

I wanted to like this place, I really did. After coming back on 3 different occasions I have to say that I was disappointed with every order. The grilled chicken panini was probably the best but soggy and the sun dried tomato paste was completely overwhelming. Next the falafel wrap was extremely dry and flavorless, even with hummus and veggies. Last the turkey sandwich was low quality deli cut meat and not grilled at all. My friends who have eaten here also have had ho-hum experiences with the food. The menu looks good, the place is clean, the staff is ok but the food is what counts. Sorry guys, step up your game with high quality ingredients and thoughtful spreads/veggies for each sandwich.

«Look at this stuff It wasn’t neat It doesn’t make my lunchtime complete Wouldn’t you think I’m the girl The girl who didn’t have everything» Couldn’t help it. We all liked the Disney classic«The Little Mermaid». I loved that movie! I didn’t love this café! I’m out here for a few days for work so trying some of the local places for lunch everyday. Should’ve checked Unilocal before. HIGHLY disappointed with Café Arielle. Convenient, online ordering was good. Have to create an account if you don’t already have one(you can use Grubhub, Foodler, or Seamlessweb) which was free and takes a mili-second. Not all of the menu items, however, are on the online ordering system(soup, for example). I ordered the lemon chicken rice soup. Looks like porridge, taste like Greek Lemon orzo soup. Not bad. Fairly large serving. Here’s a pic… I also ordered the grilled chicken roll-up. BLEHHHH. Never again. Plain pita bread, wimpy unseasoned chicken pieces, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, shredded carrots, and pickles. That’s it! No sauce, no dressing, no S/P. Nada. Helllllo Arielle??? I know you’re used to the sea and don’t have feet and most of your food is wet, but I don’t appreciate my food bland and dry. You can’t have a bunch of naturally bland veggies in bland pita bread and expect it to taste great. Doesn’t work that way honey! The roll-up is huge, enough for 2 meals or 2 people… but honestly, not very good. If you get it, be sure to tell them to add mustard or something else to livin it up. Here’s a boring pic of it: I won’t go back.

You want to know what I love about this place? It’s practically ALWAYS open! It’s so great to be able to go out after 8PM and meet friends, hang out and have a terrific sandwich that’s so big you can split it. I can’t stop ordering the portabella, roasted red pepper and goat cheese sandwich– SOO delicious– and I usually swap half of mine for half of my friend’s so I can try new things– everything I’ve had is tasty. The new owner is a really friendly, earnest guy who is totally into his café, he’s fun to talk to. I recommend Café Arielle –oh, and did I forget the yogurt??? Can’t wait for summer to grab one and go for a stroll!

Café Arielle is a great little neighborhood spot in Stoneham, across from the Fire Station and a convenient stop for people spending an evening at Stoneham Theatre. Since the new owner took over in December, the place is spic and span and runs like clockwork! The menu is wonderful, with a wide variety of sandwiches/roll ups, salads and soups. My kids love the turkey on focaccia with cole slaw and russian dressing. My favorite is the mesclun salad with goat cheese and sundried tomatoes. We also love the frozen yogurt with your choice of mix-ins that include fresh fruit, cheesecake, chocolate chips, reeses, granola, and many other delicious toppings. As a family that spends a lot of time at Stoneham Theatre, we go to Café Arielle about once a week and always enjoy a great meal and a friendly, comfortable atmosphere.

*UPDATE* Okay — so my last review was a little on the meaner side — however, I have no intentions of censoring my thoughts — because if I can’t be myself here — than where can I?! Anyway — in my last review of this place I made mention of a large sweaty man that doesn’t change his clothes. Large sweaty man is still here, except he’s better dressed, professional looking and well groomed! Yay! Apparently they read my review. Extra star! The food is still good — there’s never been anything wrong with it. It is still over priced and the one guy behind the counter cooking the food — that obviously doesn’t speak English — takes forever to get anything done. Sad. If you are in Stoneham, I do recommend at the very least you give the frozen yogurt a go. You can pretend it’s not a high calorie treat because it has«yogurt» in the name.

Just a note: This place is expanding. Remember that old crummy used-clothing store next door? Gone. And Café Arielle busted through and is currently in rennovations. Look for this place to double in size. Which would be good — maybe now it won’t be so awkward in there when it’s crowded!

I’m hoping I’ll be able to come back and bump up this review a star or two, but for now, it’s starting at 3 stars. Here’s why: Café Arielle is a lovely little place in a lovely town and I have heard raaaaave reviews from friends about how amazing the food and frozen yogurt is. I decided to try a panini one day, and after waiting and witnessing the woman behind the counter being given some serious ‘tude by the guy behind the counter, I was waited on and ordered. The panini was HUGE, and if I hadn’t brought it home to eat it, I’m certain it wouldn’t have been as soggy as it ended up being. So no points off for the food just yet. Went back again a bit later, witnessed the same griping from the guy to the lady behind the counter, waited awkwardly to order, got a pita wrap this time. It was good! The food so far has been really nice, fresh, and way-too-big to eat in one sitting for a fine price. The frozen yogurt, while good, was a bit less creamy than anticipated, and the toppings we had ground in got ground up so finely you could barely tell what they were. So all in all I wouldn’t say that it’s quite lived up to the reputation my friends have been giving it, but hopefully when I go back a few more times I’ll change my tune. I think they need to understand that customers do notice the dynamic of employees behind the counter, and level of organization or disorganization. It made me sad to see the guy being so short-tempered with the lady on multiple occasions… and while I don’t think they were intending any rudeness to the customers, they definitely gave off some iffy vibes to me and the folks I was with. Customers like to give business to people that look like they’re enjoying themselves and are nice to one another and the customers. This would be the biggest thing I hope to see change in the future.

So, my sandwich was OK. Chicken was a little bland. I really think this place has a lot of potential though, hopefully they read Unilocal and can figure things out. I actually came here with small group and nobody was in love with their sandwiches, all were OK, just not exciting. That being said, the lady that works here is super funny. I think she’s the owner. She made the experience a good one. On my way out, I decided to try frozen yogurt. It is awesome, try Nestle Crunch + Caramel. Mmm, mmm, good. The yogurt can be blended with anything you want and you get a HUGE portion. Some for now, some for later… Now that we’re having a heat wave, this is the place to go, for some super awesome fro-yo!

When I order a grilled sandwich, I expect it to be grilled — you know, be hot and have the nice little grill marks on it. The sandwich was big and stuffed full of turkey, but it was barely toasted, much less grilled. It was okay, but nothing spectacular. I don’t think they use fresh turkey. It tasted like it came from a package. For almost $ 8 for a sandwich, it was a bit disappointing. What was delicious was the peppermint patty frozen yogurt shake — YUM.
