I have stayed here three time, twice I’ve rented the entire place for the weekend. The owners are some of the most hospitable people I’ve come across. The meals they prepared were excellent and if you want to be left to yourself they are more then willing to stay out of your hair. Its an ideal location to stay if you want to see the lovely scenery in Central NY. Both times I rented the entire place(main house plus carriage house) I’m sure my friends and I were terrible guest(we all were mid 20’s), but they were so nice to us and understanding of our shenanagins. I’d say they must have been the nicest, most patient B&B operators I’ve come across.

We stayed here for one night that we got on a local deal website. The building is full of history and the owners have managed to keep much of the original charm. The grounds are well kept with lovely gardens and an inground pool. The room was nice and as expected in a building that is more than 100 years old. A little paint touch up could spruce it up a bit, but otherwise it was very nice. The bed was comfortable and we slept great! We enjoyed dinner in the restaurant and we were so happy with everything. We shared appetizers, the beef carpaccio was excellent. For dinner we shared beef wellington and grilled rack of lamb. Both entrees were delicious. We couldn’t decide which we liked better. Breakfast the next morning was also excellent. A lot of care was clearly put into both meals. We’ll be back!

THE best food in the area, served in a beautiful setting. The owners are always on site, and are very genuinely friendly, as is their wait staff. There’s something for everyone on the menu and they’re very cool about switching things around to suit you. It can on occasion be slow, but other than that Hasbrouck House — or, The Inn at Stone ridge, will not likely disappoint you.

We stayed here with my wife’s grandparents. We had the suite upstairs. Overall, I get the impression that the restaurant is more important than the rooms. The rooms are nice but a bit ran down. If you have mobility problems, be careful… steep stairs and a high tub. The food is very good and the grounds are lovely. Overall it is an okay place to stay, but if we did not need the suite, we would have stayed elsewhere.
Nestled within an historic B+B, this New American restaurant, owned by a local couple, serves an inspired menu and executes on the vision quite well. The wine list is brief yet reasonably priced, the beers are eclectic and interesting. We had a party of 6 and each enjoyed dinner faire ranging from duck to salmon to lobster/mango salad. Deserts were a ‘must have’. Only issue is that service was a bit tardy on a busy Friday night.
