We had a Groupon that expired for two rounds of golf but the young guy at the front desk took it anyway which was a pleasant surprise. If you’re looking to take advantage of one of the specials they have on their calendar online, however, I would call first since according to him their website has not been updated in awhile and the deals posted at the register are different from the ones online. Still, the regular around $ 7 adult price for a round of mini golf on one of their two courses is pretty reasonable considering you get a good amount of fun out of it. On the Wednesday we went in June in the late afternoon we had the entire giraffe course to ourselves which was really cool but definitely makes me worry about the future of this rather quaint albeit somewhat aging place. There are some really cool and creative holes on the course with nice scenery although the fountains weren’t running and the water in the ponds was not that great looking. This is not exactly world-class mini golf but the atmosphere here is nice and everything is pretty well taken care of considering the limited resources they probably have. If you’re looking for a cool round of nostalgia via putt putt and are in the area I would certainly recommend coming here and it would be sad should this fun little spot ever close.

A great place on a hot day. The staff was helpful and I don’t have complaints. The arcade area was pretty cool and they also offer snacks.

Went here with my husband and had a great time! I’d never done mini golf and thought it would be kind of boring, but it actually wasn’t. The service area is a bit dated, but the staff was friendly and they have snack foods like hotdogs, fries, popcorn, ice cream etc. as well as a arcade area. They have huge prop animals that make noises as you play. The only thing a bit off about this place was the ponds were filled with gross water and the waterfalls weren’t turned on. This would have made the ambiance better.

The first time I went to Rainforest Golf was last month. The course and facilities were a bit rundown. The worst part of my experience was the smell of the ponds on the golf course! They smelled so bad, I had to play with my shirt over my nose. I was given free passes to return since the course was«not ready» for the summer season yet. Today I returned and some maintenance was done to the course, even the water did not stink. The bathrooms were still unclean and the overall appearance of the course was kind of rundown. The young boys working the desk were very pleasant and asked if we needed any help. Most likely I will look for a new place to putt in the future.

I played here last Friday night from 9pm to 11pm with my SO and my 12 year old son. What you will be getting is a vintage mini golf experience at an independently designed course. Don’t expect the slick look and feel of a mini golf franchise like Pirate’s Cove or Adventure Golf. If I had many mini golf arenas to choose from in our area, I might rate this lower, but I’m glad they are still around and we had a blast so I gave them 3 stars. The bad: the greens are in need of refurbishment — they are ripped in a few places. The brickwork could use some maintenance too. When we were there, the waterfall was not working and there was stagnant water that was a bit unsightly. We played at night, and there are spots that are very poorly lit. Choose a light colored ball if you play at night! However, none of this really impacted our game, we had a great time. Everyone around us also seemed to be having a great time. The first thing my son said this morning when he got up was how much fun our game was last night,. The good: The attendant was very friendly and helpful. The place was not too crowded but not a ghost town either on Friday night. We were kind of slow but only had to let one couple play through in our two rounds of golf. The lantana is really beautiful, and at night their are lots of birds/bats that flap over the course at night that entertained us quite a bit. The course itself is pretty fun, with a surprising par 5 that is 3 levels deep, several very long ramps. We found the course challenging, not too frustrating or too easy. The afore mentioned stagnant water is filled with tadpoles and frogs that were fun to watch and startle. At first I found it unsightly, but then I thought it was much more fun than artificially dyed water making so much noise you couldn’t talk to each other(this is what you get at Pirate’s Cove.) Here the big noises are the cicadas, crickets and frogs. There are bugs out at night, the attendant offered free bug spray and sunscreen. I thought this was very thoughtful of them. There are construction photos inside that fascinated me. The indifferent: Although the greens need repair, the turf around the holes themselves were fine, it didn’t create really frustrating situations. The shrubbery is holly with sharp leaves that are neatly trimmed, but overgrow the course. This is a bit annoying, but we just looked at is as another hazard and a chance to practice putting with our opposite hand. The place could use some maintenance but the landscaping was neatly trimmed and walkways were in good repair. The course is close to the highway but I got a bit confused trying to figure out how to get in the entrance, its not right off the main road. Mini golf is not really about the greens or the landscaping, its about spending some quality time together. Get excited about the game, do a little trash talking, sympathize when a put rims the hole, and revel in each other’s great shots. Have fun!

We held my daughter’s 5th birthday party there this past weekend because she is OBSESSED with mini golf and there are only a few places to choose from on our side of town. The party package was affordable, and they were willing to accommodate her food allergies by swapping ice cream for cotton candy, for instance. We received a discount for bringing our own cake due to her food allergies. We booked the party for noon, which is the earliest they were open on a Saturday. I confirmed that everything would be set up prior to the noon party the day before, but when we arrived they were scrambling to set up party décor. The food was nearly a half hour late. They gave us some coupons for free golf to make up for it, but that doesn’t do much for the 10 hungry give year olds and their impatient parents. The facility is run-down. The waterfall was working, but the rest of the place was surrounded by stagnant water that, thankfully, didn’t stink — just looked horrible. There was only one staff worker on hand, and she was exceptionally accommodating — but they definitely should have had someone else there for a party/event. I wouldn’t host another party there — might as well have traveled to Roswell or elsewhere for a better experience.

Not a bad place for a mini golf went here last weekend and got beat by the SO. Perfect timing also because it began to pour right as we finished. I’d probably play here again.

Tried to play putt-putt golf here today but when we arrived at 10:30 a.m. the door was closed/locked and no one was in sight even though their posted hours for Mondays in the summer are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and there was a banner under their sign saying Open. Very unreliable and disappointing!
