Hands down best coffee on the island. I had prepared myself for mediocre coffee but then happened upon Café Noir. Oh what a happy moment. The owners are lovely and the coffee is top notch. My family is now addicted. If you live good, quality coffee or consider yourself a coffee snob this is your place. Cheers to Café Noir!

While living in NYC does not make me a bagel expert, it does add some credibility to this claim. I’ve had a lot of bagels in my life, but Café Noir has the best, ever, in the world. Ever. That is just the bagel part, I love it because the owner is part of the fabric of Stone Harbor. While Café Noir is certainly a busy spot during the Summer in Stone Harbor and yes, maybe it isn’t always run as efficiently as a Starbucks, but it has great coffee and and that nieghborhood coffee shop feel. The quality of their offering is way better than you could hope for in a beach town. Café Noir also stays open through December and my conversations with the owner about politics to Carl Icahn’s takeover of A.C. are always entertaining. I guess I just think this is a great spot and any flaws are actually additive to the fact that Café Noir is a neighborhood spot… sometimes it is what it is.

Great stumble in Stone Harbor for coffee and tea. I wish I knew about this place before. Wonderful café and sandwich menu. Good pastry and muffin selection. Also nice selection of caffeine and decaf teas. Tea is superb and coffee is wonderful. Paninis were fresh, light, and delicious, perfect for a quick bite! Would highly recommend. Great american-european feel. Nothing in Stone Harbor compares! A stone Harbor coffee and tea lover must!

My entire family are huge coffee drinkers. So when we woke up super early on our first day of vacation in Avalon the first thing we did was go for our morning cup of coffee. Sadly to say Avalon’s coffee shops serve in my opinion mediocre watered down coffee. Luckily with a quick google search we found that one town over in stone harbor there was the holy grail of coffee, La Columbia coffee brewer!!! Owner was so welcoming and the place is so super cute ! Took the 10 min ride every morning for of coffee fix.

Stopped in after hearing good things about their bagel sandwiches and coffee. Overall, bagel and cappuccino were very good and well made in terms of taste. I was not happy with the portion size to say the least– the cappuccino was ¾ foam in my 12oz cup and the bagel sandwiches(to my dismay) were lacking any substantial amount of pork roll or ham. For example: the pork roll sandwiches we each ordered had less than 1 piece of pork roll on each. For $ 27 for three sandwiches and a small cappuccino I would have certainly expected much more. Kind of disappointed that they don’t get the portion size right– if they did it would be my go to stop on weekends when down at our shore home.

Great coffee and espresso! The real deal. Barista made me a delicious, «authentic» iced macchiato. It hit the spot. Staff is very knowledgeable of what espresso and coffee should be.

It took me almost 5 days, but I finally found the best espresso and latte on the island. They have whole milk, make great espresso/latte and. .. wait for it. .. actually ask whether you like the drink after you take your first sip(which, it turns out, I definitely did!…) Clearly the best coffee on the island!

It took us all week to finally find good coffee! Love this place. It has a lot of charm, great coffee and food. I tried watery cup after watery cup trying to find a good full bodied blend. Ran into my ex-sister-in-law at another coffee house down the street and she recommended any shop that serves La Colombe coffee and pointed me in the direction of Café Noir. We had the coffee, lattes, smoothies and panini, all delish and top notch This is NOT Starbucks folks. If you are in a hurry, go somewhere else. If you want quality coffee and food, it is well worth the wait.

Great coffee and great yogurt parfait. This is the type of establishment where the owners make you feel at home. I am sure it will be crazy here during the summer months but I will definitely return and wait for my delicious coffee.

A nice little café in Stone Harbor, good coffee and bagels but nothing really stood out. The nutella coffee was good, but not as amazing as it sounded. There wasn’t a ton of nutella flavor and the coffee itself was not that flavorful. The bagels are shipped in from Brooklyn and are nice and chewy and the crème cheese is good, but again didn’t totally stand out. Good breakfast option for the area where there aren’t a ton of options.

Exceeds expectations in these café standards: Good coffee. Appropriate music. General café ambiance. If they’re lacking in anything, it’s softer furniture(they have regular chairs/tables) and space(not the largest shop) for said comfier things. This only really becomes an issue if, like me, you like to waste larger quantities of time in cafes.

This is a cute little spot that has some excellent coffee, cappuccino and espressos, etc. It is reasonably priced as well with very little wait time on whatever your little heart is craving. Buon Appetito

The best eatery in town A+!! I absolutely perfect and delicious! I go there almost every day I am down the shore. You all have to go. If you get a crêpe, make sure you come hungry because they are filling. The best bagels, coffee, salads, and panini’s I have ever tasted!
