Cynthia was amazing! I went in with a home color disaster and not only did they fix and and make me look better, they made me relaxed from the minute I came in the door. Very friendly and fun salon. I will definitely be back.

I have my regular hairstylist but she wasnt available so went into VIP to see if I they could fit me in for a same day hair color being I was kid free for a few hrs. I needed something new & was thinking of raised ombré/​highlights vs the purple peekaboos that I had on my dark hair. When I walked in, Cha greeted me right away & said someone could take me as a walked in. Donald worked on my hair. He was sweet & took his time. Told him the type of blonde I wanted & said he could do it. I was little worried on how my hair would turn out being it was someone new but he did a great job. :-) Im glad it didnt come out as an ugly gold mustard color blonde or my hair didnt have breakage. I had some nice blonde highlights & the colors staggered (blended) that way when my hair grew out, it wouldnt look like I need a retouch right away. He also gave me a good price for the color not like some places who try to charge an arm & a leg. Im am very happy with my new hair & Donald. :-)

I started going to Cha after my boys had been getting their haircut by Nadie for a few years. This woman is a true magician, Super Woman of hair. She is a genius when it comes to products and I have gone to some very high end salons who have charged me $$$ hundreds of dollars. It took me 1 time to let her experiment and show me what she could do. She knew instantly what I needed and did my hair without me saying a word. Every since that day I have been seeing only Cha! Over 7 years. She treats me like royalty when I come in and both of my sisters go to her too! I trust her completely and never question anything because I know I am getting The Very Best! I highly recommend her!

Renee is Awesome! Not only does she do an awesome job (perms, haircuts ect) but I Always leave feeling A lot better than when I walked in! Her perms are the best I Ever had! My hair actually feels healthier after I have my perm! Crazy but true! Thanx again Renee for another wonderful perm & haircut! See you soon for my Low Lights!

I haven’t had anything done with my hair for about a year and a half and I decided to schedule an appointment at VIP Salon. My hair was really long but really dead. Cynthia brought my hair back to life and worked with my budget. I walked out of that salon feeling so much better about myself the color and cut looks amazing ! Since I moved to Stockton in 2007 I tried multiple salons trying to find a place that actually listened to my wants and concerns. After many disappointments, I finally stumbled upon V.I.P.
This is the only place I trust to cut and highlight my hair. Each hairdresser I’ve had has pleased me. They are true artists.
Anytime I need hair products, I buy them here because they are honest about what I need versus trying to upsell me.

Came here a couple of weeks ago to get my extremely long hair deep conditioned and trimmed and got more than I expected from Stylist Cha! She did exactly what I asked for as far as length and layers and I pretty anal about haircuts but she did an amazing job and my hair felt luxuriously soft and straight! I have found my go to salon for all my hair care needs! They have a super clean salon and even offer you coffee during your service! 5 Starts PLUS! Affordable prices too!

The best hair place ever! I feel on top of the world everytime I leave VIP Salon. Cha and her ladies are first class hairdressers that put me front and center every visit and their store has all the right products for my home hair care. Highly recommend!!!

I was here with my fiancé while she was getting her hair all dolled up. They did a great job on her hair. She looked beautiful.
This place is huge, the staff is nice and friendly. They let me sit in the salon chairs next to my fiancé while she was getting her hair done.
As we were leaving to my car in the parking lot, I suprised my fiancé with a beautiful set of flowers. One of the employees saw us from the inside and ran to the door to look out and say «AWWWWWW». That really made my day and it made it even more special.
I would take my fiancé back to this place.

Came here yesterday for a style. Let me preface this by saying that I have never had my hair done in a salon before so I read a lot of reviews in preparation. I got Norma’s cell from another Unilocaler and I think it helps that I was able to text and let her know what I wanted before the appointment. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she curled my hair and got a little help with a braid across the front of my bangs. The curls fell out before I even reached my event, but that’s not really her fault. My hair does not hold a curl :(The braid is still in tho. She charged me $ 30 (and I gave a $ 10 tip, so I paid $ 40 all together). I thought the staff were all friendly and helpful and the facility is much bigger than it looks. They let my boyfriend come back and wait for me too. I really appreciated that she did not try to sell me any products and just wade friendly conversation while she did her job. If I have another event I will probably contact her again.

Omg! I LOVE THIS PLACE! ! It’s like spending time with family. Not only do they make you look and feel like a super model, but Lin and Cha are magicians with hair. Not to mention the amazing selection of products in the shop to purchase! You must try them!

Love my cuts by Cha. I recently made the change to a pixie cut after having long hair all my life. She rocked it with the cut and color. I get compliments everywhere I go. Can’t say enough good things about my experiences here.

If I could give no stars I so would for this place. I use to love this Salon. But the pass two times I was here has the worst experience. Took my daughter here for her first trim. The lady did a terrible job she massively chopped it to the point of no return. Had to take her some place else to get it fixed. My hair they screwed up as well. Asked for a simple A line took the lady 2 hours and then told me to come back and she will find someone to fix it he’ll no spent more money and fixed it some place else.

The girls here are nice, but don’t have any experience in what they do. I went in for a simple highlight retouch and walked out with ruined hair, orange! The week of my wedding I had to have it fixed 2 times to have it look decent. Will never go back nor will I recommend this place. Do your research before you left someone butcher ur hair!

So I had previously posted a positive review for this shop but like a scorned lover I take it back! After getting a cut and color by Cha I was astonished when I combed through my hair and saw that I had only about 3 inches of hair in a small section in the back! It was chopped! You don’t notice it too much when my hair is down (my hair is long) but when I throw it up in a bun little 3 inch hairs fall out in the back. And to top it off you can’t even tell I even changed my hair color! Im so upset, and I’m a good customer, I tip generously! I’m over it i will never come back here again! Looking for a new salon…

So incredibly disappointed right now. I’ve been to VIP a few times, each with different stylists, and always gotten great results. I went in today with about 13 inches of bleach blonde hair with about an inch of dark blonde roots. I asked if I could get my roots extended a bit to blend in with the blonde, to make it look more natural and ombré style. I also wanted about an inch off, and showed a picture to the stylist I got (her name was Dao) where it was ALL ONE LENGTH about 3 inches below the chin.
I walked out of this salon crying, with mouse brown hair from root to tip and an A-​line bob. I don’t know if she misunderstood me, or if she just cut my hair the way she thought it would look nice, but it looks terrible. I’m not sure what to do with it now, whether to go back and ask her to fix it or fix it myself, but I am VERY angry I spent money on this style.

Today was my first time a vip and I will be back! I was welcomed as soon as i entered, even though I didnt make an appt. There was a very short wait time. The stylist I recieved was cha, she was very welcoming and made me feel like family .not only was service great but my hair turned out great as well! I definately recommend and will be back :)
