I’d really give no stars, but since I have to leave a star in order to leave a review I will… walked in today and the first 10 min we were never greeted. So I’d say that with that first impression, my business wAs not needed. That’s ok, I can spend my money elsewhere along with letting everyone I know they should also spend their money elsewhere!

I had a good experience wedding dress shopping here. I brought hubby-to-be along, which was a good idea, since those wedding dresses are heavy! And the little old lady working here didn’t look strong enough to carry more than one of them at a time. This is basically a self-service type of store, which is exactly what I wanted. I didn’t want anybody fussing around me and getting all up in my business. We were left alone to search for a while and when the saleslady saw we had chosen some dresses to try on, she set us up with a fitting room and went to work searching for other similar dresses for me. There’s a sales/clearance rack, which didn’t have anything I wanted to touch with a 10-ft pole, but hey, you never know what you’re gonna find, right? The side room is where all the wedding gowns are, and for such a small shop, there’s quite a lot crammed in here. There’s a good selection of different sizes, but nothing super duper high-end. A lot of respectable copies by known designers, so don’t come in here looking for that Vera Wang you saw in Modern Bride magazine. This store doesn’t sell just bridal; it also does quite a booming business in quinceanera and prom dresses. At a glance, this place is kind of a blast to the past. The carpet brings the early 80s to mind and the place generally feels a bit run-down. Run-down in that the air conditioning isn’t so great and there are floor fans around the fitting rooms and the fitting room doors don’t close/lock completely. The saleslady(shoot, can’t remember her name) was there when I needed her but not totally intrusive(I liked and appreciated that a lot). She suggested a veil that was beautiful(and $ 160!) and didn’t mind us taking photos(some places won’t let you). I told her the dress I thought was a «maybe,» and she made a note in her book what style it was and gave us ordering time frames. The price she quoted us wasn’t bad, and after doing more research online, she was on the lower end of other shops out there. Note: she also is a professional seamstress that can make a copy of a dress for you if you want your dress quicker than the ordering lead time, but she warns you that she’ll charge more than the order price because of the amount of labor involved. By no means is this a «high end» shop, but it’s quaint and cute and I would absolutely come here again.(Not that I plan on getting married again any time soon!) I loved the no-pressure sales approach and was very glad we came in here.
