Best kept secret in Stockton. Wonderful concerts for pennies! Nothing beats live music especially the classics. The hall is intimate and acoustically spectacular. Check them out on line and go to a show. You will not be disappointed.

This place is pretty too. I went here for orientation and my other classes but inside was smaller than I had expected but the atmosphere was very cozy and simply very relaxing. My high school had a similar appearance and it gave me a feeling of nostalgia as I went here.

I was very impressed with the Pacific Music Camp of University of the Pacific. Steve Perdicaris, Pacific Music Camp Director, made the experience for the Junior Camp attendees to feel safe. He allowed the students to excel at their levels. My middle-schooler was hesitant at first, but enjoyed all the teachers, the programs, and the new students whom developed a bond after the week. The final performance on July 14th @ 1:30 p.m. at the Conservatory Hall was amazing! I had no idea that they could play something new so quickly and make a beautiful performance. The camp was a great price. I think that other students from all over should at least attend this program. Boarding: included in the cost of the week long camp. However, my child was a commuter. Meals: Included in the cost of the week long camp. Fun: They had activities for all the students from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. The reason why I did not give it an extra star was the location. Beautiful campus, but a surroundings was in geographically challenging. However, there were police and sheriff patrolling the perimeters and within the campus constantly.

Great little venue for intimate performances. I have been here for multiple quartet performances and the acoustics are fantastic, especially for an older building. The seats are not the most comfortable but there isn’t a bad view in the house and the sound is great. What more do you need for classical performances?!

Check out the recital schedule. It’s a free concert or recital several nights per week. I am a graduate of the 70’s; attended the music camps as a high-schooler. I would highly recommend the music camps for your up-and-coming musicians of high school age-very inspiring with guest conductors from across the country! The music school was adequate-education department above average.
