The Haggin Museum 1st & 3rd Thursdays

For a mere $ 5 (normal admission to the museum) you get two tix for complimentary wine, cheese, salami, crackers and fresh fruit and a beautiful venue to enjoy it in.
Note: If you want a seat for the entertainment, get there early and mark your territory clearly. Or take turns sitting and holding seats for your party. The seats are not reserved; it’s on a first come first served basis. But unlike the Bob Hope theater, there are no hefty ticket prices to keep out the common man or the man of the current economic depression.
The show I had the pleasure to see and hear; «The Ballads» Favorites from 1965-​Present. A group of very diverse in age, flavor, style and musical ability local male vocalists and musicians that kept you glued to your seat swatting away the late comers that wanted to stand in front of you to get a better look at the show.
The musicianship, professional grade. The music, appealing to all ages, backgrounds and tastes. The music scene is alive and well in Stockton, maybe a bit underground, but more than likely just in search of the perfect venue where one can sing, play, express themselves and not be exposed to the scrutiny of city permits and restraints.
