Peet’s Coffee & Tea

Thank you Moneisha for your response, and your sincere concern. I shared my experience do to the fact that Peets is awesome, your product and customer service has always been great. I was very shocked to be lectured about cost, and made to feel embarrassed when I asked to please prepare my Green Tea as it has always been prepared because it had very little flavor and was very icy. Peets Green Tea is great, better than Starbucks, no questions asked! I was more embarrassed than upset, and I never received a receipt so I was only able to share the approximate time of my visit so that you may find out which of your employees were scheduled during that particular shift. Thank you once again for your response, and as for the coffee, it was great, we had no problem with its preparation.

Great service; this is a very welcoming place where I can come and read while I enjoy some coffee with a delicious florentine cookie. The place is clean, and close to shopping Malls. Thanks to everyone there for your great service.

I am currently standing outside a Peet’s establishment in Stockton, CA. My family (yes, a rather large party due to a graduation), entered at 7:12 pm and read a sign on the door that they would be closing on this day at 8 pm due to construction. When we entered, the same information was reiterated to us and I graciously told the barista that I understood and we would be out promptly after ordering our coffees. First, the baristas at this Peet’s had no knowledge that their store is unable to accept payment via the Peet’s app. A notice of this would have been appreciated ahead of time as I wanted to use my Peet’s gift cards. Second, the baristas reiterated to myself and my family at least 6 times that they were adamant about getting customers out at 8 for construction. At this point however, it was only 7:18 pm. After not being able to use my Peet’s balances and paying with credit card and receiving receipts for our orders, the baristas began arguing with us that we did receive all of our coffees, when in fact, we were missing at least 2. After going through the receipts and repeating the reason the coffees didn’t appear on the receipts is because it was paid for by cash transaction, my family and I hurried to get out of this establishment. Another employee made a snide comment to the baristas as we were leaving. We were careful to clean up after ourselves and push in our chairs before we left even. I am very disheartened by this experience at Peet’s. I don’t know what I’m going to do with my $ 20.75 balance on my app, but I know that I will not be spending it on myself. My money, time, and respect is better spent at Starbucks. Please treat your paying customers with decency and kindness. It’s the least you could do for not having open bathrooms for customers, enough coffee collars, and capability for taking Peet’s balances. (I get that some of this might have been out of the baristas’ control, but their attitude and words weren’t)

You should ask customers sitting outside to not smoke right in front of the doors. There is a law and even though law enforcement cannot always take care of these matters, many of your customers would appreciate it.

Love the morning people here especially Bridgette ! The minute she seems me walk in she knows my orders and is always so friendly. Went there at night before and it is nothing like the morning ! The workers are more rude and like to take their sweet ass time especially when your the only customer there. But everyone is friendly in the morning ! Love this place go here twice a day in the morning.

I have never been the type of person who studies at coffee shops, but this Peet’s location has converted me! The atmosphere of this location is so relaxed and peaceful — something I feel like you actually don’t find in a lot of cafes. They always have music playing, but fear not! It’s at a perfect volume so that you can actually listen to whoever you’re talking to, and, in my case, you can actually study without headphones! The store itself is not that big, and there aren’t too many places to sit: 2 large tables that seat four or more, and about 8 small circular tables? But every time I come, I manage to find a spot at one of the small circular tables. I usually try to snag a spot towards the front of the store because that’s where most of the plugs are.
Besides that, the drinks are also great! I usually order some iced coffee, but I occasionally order the black tie as well. Note: I noticed that they add a little too much condensed milk for my taste, so I always ask for a little less. The baristas and cashiers are all so friendly, and it’s one of the reasons I love coming back to this location.

Great service, great tea. I study here sometimes. it’s a little small, so if you see a spot, run over! I wish i could have their spiced tea from their holiday menu. It’s something i look forward to in the winter. I love being surrounded by the coffee aroma for hours.

The first thing that struck me was that the staff remember my name after only a few visits — something that surprised me, as I am a quiet individual and am not one of those «memorable» coffee shop patrons (you know the ones, the ones who are loud and too friendly with the staff and make sure everyone knows they’ve graced the shop wirh their presence). The coffee and coffee drinks are usually excellent. The staff do not hesitate to brew fresh pots for you. On several occasions, they’ve asked me which kind I’d like to try, making me feel like the coffee brewing king, deciding what coffee the shop will enjoy for the rest of the afternoon. Only a couple times have I had a cup with that unpleasant «burnt» taste. It’s subtle and not a huge deal, but worth mentioning for the coffee buff.
The drink recommendations are spot on, the staff are friendly and kind to everyone, and the vibe is cool. If you are tired of going to Starbucks (the coffee shop equivalent of voldemort), the Stockton Peets is the next level coffee experience.

An Almond Milk Latte is my go to caffeinated beverage and this peets does it about as good as anyone. Store was clean, not too crowded and staff were friendly.

It’s a bit overpriced, I thought Starbucks was expensive. A two shot latte with about two tablespoons of steamed half and half was $ 3.60. Kinda much. It was tasty and the espresso was smooth. But you can definitely get just as tasty at a local shop

After being here, coffee anywhere else will never be the same. Pete’s coffee is delicious. They brew the best coffee I’ve ever tasted.
The staff is great. They welcome you in and talk to you like you’ve been a loyal customer for years. It was my first time there.
Needless to say, Pete’s Coffee will be the only place I go in for my caffeine needs.

There aren’t many Peet’s around this area, especially compared to Starbucks. But I really do like Peet’s coffee better so I decided to find one in Stockton.
This location is in a nice and convenient area with lots of other stores and food around. Parking is pretty easy since this location shares a large lot with other shops. The store itself is a decent size with tables and chairs to eat, drink, talk, and study at. They have one or two larger tables compared to the tiny circular ones, but I wish they had more. I love studying with friends at coffee shops and I feel bad taking up two small tables just so we could fit our laptops on it. I went on a weekend and it was relatively busy. In the late morning/​early afternoon it was a little loud to study with all of the other people talking but it died down a little later in the afternoon.
The baristas were very friendly. I appreciated how polite they were and how quickly they made my drinks.

Best coffee in Stockton. I wish the place was bigger. It’s usually really busy in the morning and very few places to seat inside.

Because coffee and I have a love/​hate relationship, I’m always looking for friendlier options with less caffeine. I decided to try the matcha iced green tea latte that did not disappoint. It was flavorful and not too sweet. The only thing that was bad is that it was pretty pricy – almost 5 dollars for a medium size. I’ve heard people say that Peet’s is less expensive than Starbucks, but I’d say they are about the same price range.
Overall I’d come back, even though it is kinda out of my way and price range!
P. s. It is true that a large group of elderly people convene here with some students sprinkled here and there

I’ve been a fan of the iced vanilla latte here for while now, but once I found out they had cold brew I had to come try it. Now I had tried Starbucks’ before this and theirs was actually pretty good. Peet’s is better to me. I’d compare it to Jesus Mountain for drinkability since it’s not too strong like the cold brew at Empresso. Usually I don’t add anything to my cold brew, but I tried the black tie as well and it’s a New Orleans style iced coffee using chicory. It’s the right amount of sweet and refreshing! Peet’s may be my go-​to coffee spot from now on.

I went with my cousin today, and decided I wanted an Iced Matcha Latte. It was actually real good. I have had them before, but this is my first at Peet’s. Have one, it’s cool & refreshing !!!

Peet’s in Stockton is a gem. Wonderful people, great coffee and the perfect atmosphere. Always buy my beans here as well.

My first time here was to meet my friend for coffee. I’m completely in love with the green tea macha. I’d never had it before but it’s completely delicious. I’ve been here a few other times and there always seems to be a lot of regulars that the baristas know by name. Some regulars have gotten so friendly with the staff that they discuss family, school, and etc. One barista mentioned she’d be out of town for a while but promised the regular that he’d be taken care of by another worker.
Friendly service, quality drinks, and chill atmosphere.

I love this place almost as much as I love naps. And believe me, I love my naps. When I can’t have my naps, especially after hauling ‘A’ double ‘S’ at work, I come here. I’ve been here everyday for the past month in a half, heck I feel like an obsessive pre-​teen that just «can’t with the can’ts,» because right now I can’t seem to live without Peet’s and their delicious coffee. That’s probably an exaggeration (probably) but I can’t help it ok?
I’ve tried a multitude of drinks from the menu. My usual was the vanilla matcha latte, but lately I’ve switched to iced coffee. Black. «Room for cream please.» Now why come here for just coffee, something that I could probably take the time to make at home? There’s just something about the brew here, whatever it is, it’s amazing. It wakes me up and tastes delicious. I love how there’s a separate station where customers can adjust the beverages to their liking.
Other details that snagged five stars:
*Cleanliness– Everything is super neat and tidy. The restroom was always spotless as well.
*Service– The staff here are super friendly and helpful, especially if you’re interested in exploring the menu and need a recommendation or two.
*Quality/​Variety-There’s a wide variety beverages, baked goods, and other great tasting foods.
*Atmosphere-​Nice Aromatic coffee smell, store is neutral color scheme, very relaxing feel. I’m normally on the go, but I love sitting in with friends or family on days off.
This place will definitely remain my go-​to during the fall and winter seasons, even when I’ve had a nap. :)

I really love to brew my own coffee. But I’m always on the go, so I try to find places in Stockton that has good coffee. Peet’s is one of them, that I enjoy coming to.
The atmosphere is pretty relaxing and the crowd is really chill. A lot of traffic comes in and out, but the place is still clean. The customer service is awesome, front counter/​Barista Priscilla is awesome. Service with a smile and very patient when I come in. I like this place a lot.
I’ll be coming back just to grab a regular coffee and just enjoy it and look at the water flowing down the rocks. I get a really peaceful feeling here.
