On my first visit with a friend, we waited over an hour for our meal. We asked the waitress how much longer until the food was ready (Keep in mind the restaurant was hardly busy). She said it would be about 5 more minutes.
15 minutes later, we decided it would be faster to go get food out of town.
I decided to give the spot another chance about a month later. I ordered the Shrimp Quesadilla, which comes with rice and beans. I anticipated paying a higher price for seafood, but I had hoped for more than what appeared to be 2 pieces of shredded shrimp in a small quesadilla. Rice and beans were subpar in taste and portion size. The quesadilla was tasteful throughout the whole 2 bites.

Waited more than an hour for our food. All we had was coctel de camaron which which shouldn’t take that long to serve, a torta and a plate of enchiladas. Coctel was ok not too many shrimp more of cucumber than anything else. I guess the torta was sitting for a long time because by the time we got it the bread was all soggy you couldn’t even pick it up. Meat was chewy. We had to ask for tostadas or crackers for the coctel, apparently they forgot. Service was no good. For good seafood Las Islitas is 100% better in all aspects.

Stopped by for lunch on the way through Stockton. Food was good, a little pricey but you pay for authentic. Biggest problem was the over loud music blaring from the customer pay jukebox. You couldn’t even hold a conversation with people at your own table. Had the shrimp tacos they were good.
