Mancini’s Sleepworld

01/​21/​2016 I will not be returning to this store! Purchased my mattress and was happy with that visit, however i go in and order a sheet set for the bed and was told it will be in on the 21^st which was fine. I was told to bring in the card and the finance company gives you in with me and my i. d which i did to only be denied. When i asked why they responded with «thats not how it works» so i asked him why the other guy told me to do this and he had no answer for me at all. Now i have no sheets for my mattress that i purchased from them, my best advise is to go somewhere else.

The people here were so cool they helped me get a bed for $ 100 cheaper than the sleep train down the street thanks a lot Mancini’s!

Terrible customer service. I ordered a bunk bed for my daughter. After a month of waiting for the bed I called the store and found out it had been in, yet know one took the time to let me know this. The Store mgr. who I purchased the bed from seems unable to handle the pressures of there small store, seeming overwhelmed. When the furniture arrived it was missing the center brace, leaving the bottom bed unusable. After several calls all they way up to corporate office level, and 5 attempts, and only one return call from corporate just to say sorry yet I received no results, or resolution. 4 trips to my house from Mancinis with wrong parts and no phone calls returned, I finally received the wrong parts, but the delivery guy made it work by removing, cutting, and screwing it together. By the way, Mancinis would not take the bed back only the mattresses back. Buyer beware, I was a long time customer of Mancinis, well no more! I settled with wrong parts for my $ 1,500 purchase and to this date, corp has not returned my call…

The sales people are very nice. I waited 2 weeks for my mattress, when it arrived I was very happy and it was very nice. Then the delivery man took my check and went outside and called some lady to ask her about my check, he returned and said this check is no good we can’t take it, because it doesn’t have two locks on it, I was very upset with this delivery man and upset with Mancini for hiring a delivery driver that didn’t know a good check when he seen one. The salesman called before they loaded the mattress back onto the truck and asked if I could just use a debit card, NO! WHY! MY CHECK IS GOOD. The salesman had to take the driver’s word on the check not being good he said. The mattress was loaded back up and taken away. I took the check to the store and showed it to the sales people, when they seen that the check was good, one of them responded «that idiot» speaking of the driver. Needless to say they lost $ 1600 that day. And I bought a great mattress not far from them, and it came with the support, not just the mattress for the same price.

Advertising is deceiving. All ads on Radio, TV and signs in stores say Free Sales Tax On a mattress. No disclaimers saying only certain ones, yet when I purchased a Mattress the rules changed. Mancini’s had a chance to update their advertising the past 3 weeks but didn’t.
Corporate had a chance to make this right, but decided to just ignore us.
They do not believe in «Truth in Advertising».

We dealt with Larry. He was very knowledgeable and was fair on the prices. Thanks Larry, because of you, we decided to return here to buy the bed from mancini’s.

Was in town visiting family and decided to check out the sales. We were greeted by Larry and Mike. They were very friendly. Larry was very knowledgable, very well educated, knew what he was talking about, best of all he was genuine, and not pushy! He really helped us get an amazing mattress and we cannot wait for it to arrive!

I have many back issues and with that comes horrible sleep so I was in the market for a new mattress. I had come into Mancini’s several times to try out the different beds to be sure I was getting the right one. The staff (Larry and Mike) were very patient with me and knowledgeable which helped me make the right decision for my needs. Even if I had found the bed anywhere else for less the customer serve alone was worth every penny.

Great customer service from both Larry & Michael. NOT pushy at all! They give you their suggestions & go over specs & leave you to shop. Above & beyond service over the «other guys». Would highly recommend.

So as I’ve posted on Talk, I was on a quest for a new bed.
I ended up at Mancini’s Sleepworld thanks to the review below. I walked in and was immediately greeted by both the salesmen. Very clean and organized showroom (I’m also in retail and so I notice little things) and very attentive and polite guys.
I knew what I wanted so I didn’t dally in here but the salesman (I’m sorry but I am totally drawing a blank on his name!) took the time to explain everything to me, breaking the pricing down, etc. He gave me an excellent deal on a bed with the frame. I do have to wait a couple of weeks for the bed, but hey… that’s not their fault.
So people, seriously, don’t even consider the other bedroom places in Stockton, just go to Mancini’s. They are great!

The staff in the store was great. He explained the differences between the matresses and helped us find the right one for us. However the delivery was an issue. They had to come out to my house 3 times before they finally got it right. The first time was partially my fault. I thought I had an eastern king, but I really needed a cal king. The second time they came out they had ½ of the box springs for a cal king and ½ for an eastern king. It was really a big hassel having to strip the bed and re-​make it 3 different times and having to be home waiting for them 3 different times. It was a full week and a half from the day I purchased the bed to when it was delivered.

A month ago, we went to Mancini’s to get our daughter her first real bed. They were very helpful in helping us find the mattress we want, and they had a great deal with getting a box spring and a bed frame for free. We started talking about the details and delivery, and they said they’d be delivering it to us the next day, which was great. Then, when we mentioned we were in Elk Grove, they apologized and said they couldn’t do it because they don’t come up here except on Wednesdays. They do their next day deliveries in Stockton only. It wasn’t that big deal to us, especially since we were coming from out of town and we didn’t talk about it up front with them either. But, as my daughter was just randomly playing with the bean bags, they told us that because of the inconvenience, they’d let us bring one home. Excellent customer service!!! We were already okay with the fact that we weren’t going to get the bed when promised because we were a bit out of town, and they still went above and beyond.
I will be back there in an instant (and recommend it to anyone else) because they want to take care of their customers!!!
