The workers here are just horrible. Bad mood, grumpy, rude, unhelpful… List goes on. The only person who is in a good mood is the security guard. Besides him, the workers should be fired. This place is worst than the dmv. Rude ladies that will rub you the wrong way. They take their sweetass time and the wait is ridiculous. I hope I never have to come back here again. Hire some people who want to work, not those current unproductive workers…

On hold for an hour, and when they pick up, they hang up. I redial. On hold an hour, and at the one hour and 9 minute mark, they answer, then HANG UP. Four times I did this. I spent into FIVE hours listening to that crappy music on hold until someone answered that did not disconnect me. I simply needed back copies of my tax return for a mtg lender. This was all Sept 9^th, and the docs would be mailed the next day. Today we get a letter, dated Sept 10^th, saying that before the docs can be released, we need to call back and make a phone request. Why was I on hold for five hours? Do they have any clue what so ever of what they are doing???

As soon as I got out of the elevator, I saw a line backed up passed the elevator. One lady was sitting on the floor clearing doing homework. I asked is the the line for the IRS, a young lady smiled shaking her head and answered «YES». I bounded out of there quickly. I had a question that needed a human response, not a computed generated voice that you get when you call the IRS in Fresno. I will try again tomorrow, super early. Maybe I should bring donuts and coffee. Just Saying…

I waited 4 ½ hours only to be told they cannot print the transcript. Seriously! The front office Latina is horrible she is rude and unprofessional.

Wish i could give it a zero. black women offers a poor attitude towards all who go there. and give very little or no help. extremely unprofessional

Absolutely agreed with the previous person. 3 years gone– and nothing change. I give one star only because the only one nice smiling person I saw was the officer at the front, whos checking your purses. Absolutely horrible place. They all have that «do not bothering me «attitude. Hey, if you hate your job so much — go, do something else, work at the Waste Removal Service, be away from people. WE are not criminals, we are all humans, who need your help and who, btw, paying your salaries. So, are we aloud to have at least some sympathy? I, probably, had the same agent that the previous reviewer have had. No «hello», no smile, not even offer to seat– why? Maby if we are not sitting down and not getting comfortable– maby we leave faster! You know, the way you treated us — the same exact way someone will treat you or, even better– your daughter, son, mother, etc. Next time, when you will go to church– think about it. And, yes, we did went to the congressmen office after that and, yes, we did mentioned some names. So, do not be surprise, if you will have some «secret shoppers» after all.

The receptionist, a very healthy Latina in her mid-​30s, needs to attend a CHARM SCHOOL quickly!!! I’ve been to the IRS Stockton Office 3 times, and each time this receptionist was always curt and condescending. She should not be manning the front desk of any office; she belongs to the backroom away from the public.
ALSO, an IRS agent, a black woman, needs to attend charm school. Dealing with her was like talking to a wall — no expression, no warmth, no welcoming attitude. She had more of a «you’re bothering me» attitude.
With these two employees the public has to deal with, wo wonder government employees always get the bad rap!
I give one star because of another IRS agent in this office — an older Latina — who is very helpful, accommodating, and welcoming. Dealing with her was a pleasure.
