The antiques and goodies in this store is way overpriced, I’m not sure how they even make rent for the spots they occupy. I’ve never purchased anything here.

We found ourselves in Stockton for the Vintage Market Fair and thought we’d go check out some antique stores. We stopped at Hubba Hubba Antique store and my husband had our little Chihuahua in a sling bag. Our dog is 15 years old and just sitting quietly in his bag. As soon as we walk in the old man at the front counter just yelled at us «no dogs». I looked at him and said«but he’s sitting in the bag» in which he yelled again«no dogs». I said, «then you don’t get our money» and he said«that’s fine». At which my husband and I walked out. If you have kids or dogs, do not go there. The old man/owner(?) Is not a nice man and shouldn’t be working his store. He drives away paying customers and clearly doesn’t care that is what he’s doing.

We unexpectedly found ourselves in Stockton for the day and set out to explore the old downtown — Antique stores and beer were the goals. After lunch, we attempted to look into Hubba Hubba with our small dog in arms and were turned away due to the«no pets» policy. I understand that people turn their pets loose and the results can be unfortunate but, those situations should be dealt with case by case. Children are allowed and likely cause more damage that small carried pets. We left no currency in their hands. On the other hand, Treasure Trove Antiques on West Harding was exceptionally welcoming and sweet. In the context of Stockton’s vibrant economy, some policies should be abolished.

This is a place you could easily spend a day looking at everything in this eclectic collection! The people I spoke to behind the counter were very helpful and pleasant as could be! Highly recommended and I will be back!

This place sucks! I will never shop there again. I have been in there at least three times this month with my almost 4 year old son and never had a problem until today. The man who owns/manages the store dislikes children and should take the stick out of his @$$! He told me to keep my child next to my side and not let him walk alone because he has 100 year old items in his store. Really? You mean the pressed glass knife rests that are priced @ $ 22.00 each? Well I just purchased 11 of the exact same thing on ebay for $ 24.00! Your prices are not that great and your stuff is not all«antique!» Also, my children are very well behaved and I am very proud of that fact. My son was doing nothing wrong. Oh wait, he was saying hello to the fake, plastic, overpriced, bad Santa in the back of your store… From now on, I’ll stick to my friendly, Lodi, antique stores. Secondhand Rose or Antiquarium. Have a nice life, you big Grump!!!

This place is amazing. I could literally stay in here for HOURS just checking out all the stuff they have in here. They are VERY pricey, but it’s an antique shop so, it’s to be expected. The owners are so sweet and made me feel very welcomed. And urged me to come back, which is always nice. I live in Tracy, but i’m definitely willing to drive the twenty minutes to buy some new sweet knick knacks. Love this place so much!

What a gem this place is :) There’s always beautiful jewelry, furniture, décor and dishes… lately, I’ve really taken a knack to collecting old photographs. They have some wonderful ones for only $ 0.50! The people who work here rent individual spaces here and they are always so helpful and friendly. Definitely a place worth stopping into when you’re on the mile.

Reluctantly, 3 stars They do have a fabulous selection. Reasonable prices. A few years ago, I really wanted a sideboard. Simple, clean lines… and only $ 220. The problem? This is one of those stores that rents out space and you don’t necessarily know who owns what. They wouldn’t let me hold it, unless I put some cash down. The guy that runs the place is very kind. But unfortunately, he has be the middle man for all of the people that rent space from him. Fast forward 3 –4 return trips(a period of 2 weeks), I didn’t want the piece any longer. I had already paid for it and it was sitting in their store. They didn’t want the piece in their store, I bought a new house and didn’t know where to put this new piece. I asked if I could back out of the deal and get my money back, and they said ‘NO’. This piece now sits in my back porch and houses my pool supplies and toys. I refinished it and painted it the same color as my exterior house color… you can’t even tell it’s there. I haven’t returned to the store and don’t think that I ever will. Probably my fault, I admit… but buyer beware!

First of all, let me just say that I am a bit irked. I have been ‘scooped’ by the lovely young lady whom I introduced to this happy little slice of heaven, located on Stockton’s sunny Miracle Mile. Yes, I am the proud new owner of the cute little brown pillbox hat that Ms. Jessi B. speaks of. I also have found many other wonderful items here! I think the best part about Hubba, Hubba’s is the selection of antique fixtures and hardware that you can purchase to spruce up your existing pieces. Also a good deal of «as is» items that are perfect for those with a creative streak, who love to roll up their sleeves and create/refurbish things. As for the issue of being out-yelped by Ms. Jessi: «Shrewd move, counselor. Shrewd move.»
