I signed up today to use the standup tanning bed. Megan was great, explained everything I needed to know, and gave me a tour. So far I love the place, it’s so clean and modern, and it looks much bigger inside than I expected from the street view. I can’t wait to go back! Thanks Megan.

I used the Unilocal special of $ 50 for $ 75 worth of products/​services & used it towards 10 medium pressure tans. I tried the standing booth for my very first time & it wasn’t bad. Wished there were handles to hold onto inside the booth though. I also tried the Hydration Station machine for 20mins & it was pretty cool. It’s basically like a sauna inside this capsule that you lie inside. It hydrates your skin & gives you a deeper more even tan if you decide to tan afterwards. Highly recommended prior to tanning. Oh & I got 50% of the Hydration Station as part of another Unilocal deal. The staff is helpful & informative. Smooth experience overall.

Owner and staff very helpful and friendly upon entry. Haven’t tanned yet but when the owner cares enough to be there and talk to potential clients, that’s a major plus.

My main gripe with Havatan is that the facial light station is next to the front door. When I walk in I try to check out whoever is getting a facial so I know other people do the same. I once fell asleep while getting a facial and kept waking up because my leg was twitching. The girl at the front desk must have thought I was extremely weird and I felt weird because this has never happened to me other than at Havatan. I swear!
My second gripe with Havatan is that it is freaking pricey! I think even worse than Planet Beach. But then they have higher tech UV stuff that you have to pay exponentially more to use. It’s cool, I’m just an amateur tanner, but I need the stand-​up which, at Havatan, costs more.
Otherwise the girls are super sweet and helpful!

I used to be a Planet Beach member, but the membership was too expensive, and the location in Lodi could never seem to have acurate hours posted. I was referred to Havatan. I signed up in Stockton, and everyone was really nice. The facility is really clean, and they have a lot of options for different products. I have also been to the one in Lodi, very nice staff and very clean. And the membership is very reasonable.
