I was craving this place for a while now and finally got to come here again. There’s something about the chewiness of the noodles and the fact that it is AYCE(for dinner only, I think). The place can get a little messy at times, but if you want a lot of food for a decent AYCE price, this is the place to go. I’m not a huge fan of the extra side dishes they provide(the rice cake — looking dessert, and the fried sweets), but I do like that they offer soup.(I’m a huge soup-lover.) This is not a place to go to if you’re looking for a fine food restaurant, but if you want a hearty amount of food with plenty of vegetables and sauces, definitely give this place a try!

This location is the original, our go to spot for something quick, tasty and carby(yes that’s a word). For those who have never been here, here’s a breakdown of how it works. 1. Walk in, waitress will point to a table. 2. Go straight to veggie/noodle/meat bar and start making a plate. 3. Add meat(a lot as it deflates when cooked), add veggies, and noodles last piled high and pressed down to get the most for your money. 4. Add sauce(I usually do 2 of everything). 5. Add oil of liking and lots of garlic. 6. Wait turn, when called give the guy your bowl. 7. He’ll ask«garlic powder?», your reply«YES!!!». 8. Wait to be finished, and tip the people:) 9. Food done return to table and enjoy. Lunch comes with rice, leftover soup(that’s what I call it) and an egg roll. Dinner is unlimited and comes with a biscuit that is so delicious I try and steal my sisters all the time!

This is a good place. It’s our go to place for my son and I. Sometimes it’s messy, yes and a bit chaotic but it’s always yummy. There’s always a good selection of veggies and different sauces for your dish. What I love is that you make your dish like you want it. Win-win.

I don’t understand why there are so many bad reviews on here. I come here all the time and I’ve never had a bad experience. It’s not the cleanest place but I like the food. It’s all you can eat or during lunch time they’ll let you get a doggy bag if you only had one bowl. Most of the time I just order to go because I can never finish more than one bowl. Unless you go in while it’s super busy, it doesn’t take that long to get your noodles. Only takes a few minutes for them to cook it. I’m only giving 3 stars because they could fix the place up a bit in terms of cleanliness and the grill could probably use a deep cleaning.

Best place to eat ever. Never a disappointment, service is amazing and fast. The ground could be kept cleaner but that depends on how the customers treat it.

I used to enjoy coming here with my family until yesterday. I went to lunch with my family(husband &2 kids) my daughter and myself served ourselves and my husband was serving my son as well as his self because my son is to small to serve himself but old enough to have his own bowl. Anyway, when my husband reached the cook the cook asked my husband if he was sure he wanted 2 bowls and my husband told him yes he was sure. The cook proceeded to tell my husband that the 2nd bowl was the same price even though he had less food in it. My husband said he understood. The cook then told my husband that he didn’t look like he could afford to pay for 2 bowls. Needless to say my husband was upset and so was I. I told the manager who made no apologies for the cook and said she would tell the owner. We will never return to this location again as we experienced discrimination.

Never once had a problem HERE! The one on West Lane was HORRIBLE! Anyhow, the service here is wonderful. No complaints. My soup is always hot, my sesame biscuits are on point and they make sure I have my 5 extra to go every time! I will never go to the other location again! Trust that!

This is my favorite location to go to. I always arrive starving and think I’ll eat bowls full of the yummy food when I can barely finish one bowl. I’ve never had a problem with the food or service but one thing that makes me uncomfortable is the hanging lanterns above the food buffet. They are covered in dust! I’m sure they are overlooked when it comes to cleaning but it’s just so gross.

Superb at what they do. I really can say enough goo stuff. Dare I say almost perfect. It’s nice and simple. It’s Mongolian BBQ-original – at that.

A filthy dirty the restaurant. Even though it was not the lunch rush there was food spilled all over the place. The counters were not wiped down and the floor was not clean. Sticky sauces had been spilled causing everything to stick to my feet. I literally had to scrape squished noodles and stuck on veggies from off of my shoes when I got to the parking lot. The grill was not cleaned off so the overcooked residue of everyone who went before me and ended up in my bowl as well. I will never go to this place again.

I went in with a friend for dinner and it was really good! You can pack a lot into each bowl so the all-you-can-eat style seemed like a waste of money in that sense. I’ll probably be back for lunch only in the future.

Disgusting facilities. Wouldn’t be surprised if there were cockroaches. Friendly tip: don’t look up at the vents…

The food here was pretty good but I’d hoped there was a spicier sauce that you can put on the food. There wasn’t any rice either like most Mongolian BBQ-esque restaurants. It is also all you can eat too. There are more meats like turkey that you don’t normally see. The service there was very good and friendly.

Probably my favorite Mongolian BBQ place named after the most brutal horse nomad there ever lived. Still, this place is appropriately named as it will CONQUER your palate with fresh ingredients and absolutely MURDER your hunger. You will leave full. Dinner: No food to-go so don’t go wasting! Lunch: there is to go Best time to come is Lunch because you have same ingredients, especially for us veggies. They will give you a side of white rice and egg soup which is delicious with some garlic powder. Eat the soup first. Add you veggies first, noodles last, plenty of house sauce, garlic sauce, teriyaki sauce, hot peppers, and peanuts!!! When they ask garlic powder you say yes Ghengis! Because it’s lunch, you will be able to take the rest home and probably have dinner with it too if you add the rice.

I like coming here when I need my Mongolian fix. The cooks seem to disappear as soon as there’s a lull so make sure you run up and get in line or it may be a while before he comes back.

I love this place! They have very friendly staff and actually it is always the same people so they must treat their employees right. You cannot beat the selection for the price. It is all you can eat but I never have room for a second bowl. My favorite is the corn and broccoli. The meat is great and the noodles are to die for! The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is the bathroom. I really hate the bathroom here.

Ghinggis Khan Mongolian BBQ restaurant, on Grand Canal Blvd in Stockton, California. Unilocal Challenge 05⁄100 Note: First things first, come hungry so you can eat like there’s no tomorrow. Tip: Takes credit Pro tip: Only the first bowl can be taken home in a box, since it’s an all you can eat. I’ve eaten here several times over the past few years. I mainly come with both of my hime-chans. But my girls always want me to bring them individually here. On my previous visit, I came with my eldest Princess. She just graduated high school and we had our Princess and Daddy time. On this evening I came with my youngest Princess. She wanted a special day with me and her only for my birthday. The food is great here, you walk in and pick a seat. Grab two bowls and pick out your toppings. The meat of choice is Pork, Chicken, Turkey and Beef. There’s a bunch of veggies and baby cubes of tofu too. They have a surplus of cooking oils to pour over your meal. They use this big circular griddle to cook the food. Just think of Japanese teppanyaki. To visually get an idea. The food is off the hook, it’ll taste different for everyone because? You decide what you want on it. I usually go with chicken mixed with turkey with a mountain of veggies. I’ll even throw in some peanuts too. Note: something about food being grilled right in front of you, is pretty cool imho. Major leauge tip: Best time to come is during the peak times. Why? Fresher meat and veggies. You get also wonton chips, soup, rice and some sweatbread called Peanut butter biscuits. All of that is all you can eat too. The wonton chips are alright by themselves but tastes pretty good with a little sweet sauce they put on. The soup, is some type of chicken soup. That’s all I know:) the rice is basic rice. But the Peanut butter biscuits taste like no other. Certified Gucci. So each time I come with my girls we always have a blast and we love it here. I’m just trying to get my son here next. That kid is so darn picky lol. Doing what this Daddy does best, spending time with my children. My kids are my world and everything else in life is a bonus.
