Friendly people but needed cleanliness, I sat at the bench one day and it was sticky. Not only that seems like the place looks old.

Favorite chain with best hamburger, club sandwich, fresh tea, good old fashioned cup if coffee, value menu with real food. My favorite location in March Lane. The staff at this location all work very hard but… I feel sorry for the cooks at this place, they are understaffed. One person trying to keep up with the orders that this place is just not enough, even for the best employee it is too much. This is evident when you see the poor servers trying to keep up as well, as it seems they are understaffed too. This is no reflection on the staff because they all work extremely hard. As of 1÷31÷16 It is safe to say that I am done with this location. I called in to see if My favorite servers were there to take care of my take out order. I was informed that neither work there anymore. It seems that they both finally gave up. Shame on the March Lane location management for not trying to retain good employees. One good thing about this is that there are other locations to visit.

Denny’s located on March Ln, right of the I-5 exit. Phone number(209) 478‑1633 Private parking lot for patrons. Pro tip: Only takes credit and cash. Sorry no debit. Note: No free WiFi. So I came into Denny’s late last night or early this morning. After a night of kicking it with the homies. Party tip: Denny’s is infamous for that late night get yo grub on. You know, when we’re drunk as a skunk or high as a kite. Even when we’re hopped up on pills. We could be eating a bowl of mayonnaise for all we knew. So after a night of sharing the peace pipe with my kindred spirits. The munchies set in and we all decided to come and dine here. As soon as we walked in out party of six was greeted and quickly seated by our waitress Traci. Within a few minutes our drinks came out. Then we put in our order. I lived on the edge and picked out a turkey Sammy with hash browns. The rest of my party wanted pancakes and ice cream. The food was good and served hot and I would probably say, In a timely manner. Unfortunately the head honcho had only one waitress working on the weekend. So we didn’t trip one bit, we used our time playing some games. Spin the ketchup, just think of spin the bottle and Telephone. I haven’t played those games in many moons plus some. So my friends and I had a cool time here. So yeah, I’ll be coming back in the future. Sincerely VD keeping it real 24⁄7

Today’s experience… For starters our waiter, Janine, is far from professional. I don’t believe they provided her with the proper job training. She serves carelessly, treating the menus like frisbees causing one of them to fall onto the booth which I had to pick up. I later noticed her«pouring» coffee into a mug and it was spilling all over, but she went about her business like it wasn’t a problem and served it to the customer. So as you can tell she struggles with basic waitress duties(properly placing menus on tables, actually pouring coffee INTO a mug, ect.). I’m starting to believe that Stockton just doesn’t do customer service. Anyway, we ordered the usual, 2 orders of the French Toast Slam. I don’t know how long my order was sitting around waiting to be served because by the time she served us my eggs were cold.

Waited half an hour for our food and the bathroom is filthy. First time going to a Denny’s in a long time and never going back again especially this location.

Not the restaurant getting 4 stars the employee Shannon. My mom sister and I enjoy seeing her and having her serve us. She’s awesome! We go back just for her!

Just your typical diner food fare, my mother and I like it for a quick easy meal especially when we’re in a hurry or just can’t be bothered to drive anywhere fancy. We just had brunch, and the blueberry pancakes were great. I also like that their hot tea, and coffee are on free refills. My mom uses her AARP card to get us a discount as well which can’t be beat. The service is always pretty fair, although they do sometimes forget you when they get busy, so speak up and tip accordingly lol!!!

The last time I came here I ordered the salmon with wild rice. It was way way over cooked! I also ordered clam chowder because it was Friday night but they ran out and had to make more. Whoever made it made it hella runny! Send it back and remove it from my bill! Damn, I used to like this place! What happened to the good cook!!!

Terrible service, filthy restrooms, food was crap, un kept restaurant. The outside parking lot had the appearance of a homeless shelter. Its a shame, this was once a nice restaurant to come to growing up. Management has destroyed this place. I hope the owner reads Unilocal

Really poor service. Greeter was extremely rude. Manager hid in corner while our food sat. I needed a refill and while I waited I decided to try to get the managers attention. He looked right at me and turned away. The bus boy had to get my drink. Still sitting here listening to the waitresses talk really loud across the room.

I guess we had their best chef and service staff because I’ve had way worse at way classier places(check my cheesecake factory review). Food was tasty, hot, served exactly as ordered. Overall way above average experience.

2÷28÷15 — I love their broccoli cheese soup, it is one if the three things I like about Denny’s. But this particular day because of surgery, I can only have light foods, nothing too heavy or spicy. So I order the soup, BLT and a lemonade. The soup comes, no napkins ok. I ordered avocado on my sandwich, no avocado and then I look at my drink and the glass is dirty. So I ask the waitress for a clean glass and I point out to her that the last person who had this glass had a milkshake. She shakes her head in disgust and then points it out to the manager which was a good thing. The waitress gives me my check for $ 12.30, I don’t say anything. But if you were her wouldn’t you deduct the drink. Come on! The soup was good, but the chef couldn’t even manage to put a BLT together. If I were feeling better and had the extra energy I would have taken a picture. It will be awhile before I come back to this Denny’s. How lazy can you be and you call yourself a «cook». You will never make it to a better establishment. My one-year old grandson can make a sandwich better than that.

«I think that was the worst dining experience I’ve ever had.» This is what my friend Valerie said as we exited Denny’s following our meal. She doesn’t say such things lightly, and we aren’t the kind of people who expect the world from chain eateries and then complain when it doesn’t meet an unattainable standard. It’s Denny’s, you know what you’re in for. But this time we had no idea, and if I could re-live my life over again with the knowledge I have now I’d leave a note to myself warning to avoid Denny’s on Jan. 1, 2015 on the second go-around. Look, it’s New Year’s day, I get it. The restaurant was packed because families are together and people need hangover food. We were seated fairly quickly in a packed dining area that, for some reason, had the air conditioner running. In January, when it’s 45 degrees outside. It was cold. And for some reason the front door was propped open as well, so it was double-cold. There aren’t a lot of things to say about this trip to Denny’s save for two: service took forever, and our food was cold when it arrived. Now the time element I can be forgiving of, if it were just the delivery of our food. Unfortunately we didn’t get to order for half an hour after we were seated. We had a timer at one point and set a certain passing of minutes as the marker for leaving the restaurant — «If we don’t get service in ten more minutes we will leave.» You shouldn’t have to do that at a restaurant, not even Denny’s. But we eventually did order, and received our water and one coffee in worn and sad looking cups eaten away by the thousands of patrons who came before us. Then we waited for the food. And waited. And it finally came. And it was cold. I’ve never been served cold food in a restaurant. Sure, some warm food that would have been nicer at a higher temperature, but never COLD. This was cold food. It was such a major letdown after waiting for so long, and plays on the next element that I had an issue with: The service and speed at which it came. None of the employees in the restaurant had any sense of urgency. Everyone was moving at a snail’s pace, and despite the fact that there was a restaurant full people who will pay and tip the waiters and waitresses were acting like it was the lull of the late afternoon and two customers were seated. The food piled at the counter, and no one retrieved it – how long does food have to sit to get as cold as ours was? 15 minutes? 20? It was gross, even by Denny’s standards. When our food finally came it was incomplete, and the manager and server both worked to get out items out but not before the server made a quip regarding the manager’s work ethic(a bit odd). Everyone around us was complaining about cold food, it was a first. We spent almost 1.5 hours in that restaurant and ate cold food. The solo Belgian waffle was 7 dollars. I had one refill, and we were freezing the entire time. No apologies were made for time or the state of the meal, everyone working there could not have cared less. I used to consider this the«good» Denny’s in Stockton. Now there is no «good» Denny’s, life is pain.

Pretty much by far the worst service I’ve ever received. Past the hostess who was prompt and friendly waited 20 minutes til a busser who was on break came off her break to ask us if wed been helped and had no idea why we hadn’t been helped. Not any server asked one time. She gave the server the order who didn’t seem that busy and it was out in then 20 min more and we saw it come up then it took 6 minutes and we had to ask for it then the busser again grabbed out check 10 min after we stopped eating and making it obvious that we were waiting to leave. Good thing that we ordered was good

Last visit was on 4÷14÷14 and I mean not only was it the last time I was there but I’m not going back(to this location) or any other location for awhile. The server was a guy that I have had on several occasions and he just seems oblivious to people waiting/wanting to order and then waiting/wanting their food. Food was good– that is the only thing this Denny’s(most Dennys’) has going for it is consistent food. EXCEPT the server dropped the ball when he brought my fruit cup and the banana slices WEREBROWN– really imbecile? like you didn’t see that they were BROWN! I’m over it– I’m over you Denny’s– I so loved you for a long time but the lack of customer service and the dirty bathrooms is just too much. Management really needs to assess the situation and train their employees on service 101 and get someone to clean the freakin bathrooms– it isn’t rocket science but then again maybe for Denny’s it is… sigh…

I walk in to sit at the bar area for a quick breakfast. I sat for 10 minutes while two other guys that came after me were served coffee while I still waited for mine. I was finally given a menu and coffee but asked me if I was ready to order when I had literally 10 seconds to look at the menu. I ordered but felt like I needed more time. Anyway, food was ok. Service mediocre. Not coming back.

My boyfriend’s mom and I came in here at around 12:30pm on a Wednesday, and the place was nearly empty. However, we had to stand around awkwardly for a few minutes before we were noticed and seated. We ordered salad and drinks, but waited forever for the salads. It’s a SALAD, how long does it take to assemble? This forced me to make strained conversation with my boyfriend’s mom, which is uncomfortable anyways but was made worse by the fact that we were both starving and impatient. After half an hour of waiting, we flagged down our waitress to ask how much longer it would take. Again, the place was basically empty. We told her we had appointments to get to and would have to get the salads to go if they didn’t come out in the next 5 minutes. She said she’d check and, after 5 minutes, told us our order was up next. It’s been nearly 45 minutes, what the heck are you doing back there? Are you waiting for the lettuce to grow? Harvesting the cranberries yourself? There is no cooked element to this salad, so what is the damn problem?! After another 10-minute wait, we just gave up. We put cash on the table for our drinks(which I think was being overly generous) and just left. No one noticed us going, or if they did they didn’t care enough to say anything. FAIL.
