I have tried both Bubbies Pickles and Sauerkraut. I am not kidding when I say that I will never go back to vinegar-based foods unless I am forced to. Yes, they have to be refrigerated and they cost more than the other brands, but the taste alone is worth it. In the Sacramento area I find them at Whole Foods and Smart & Final.

Craig R is demanding a review so here we go. Bubbies pickles are fermented in brine My wife think it’s gross but to me it’s fine No vinegar, sugar, or preservatives for this nerd Cloudy brine is proof they’re naturally cured I’ve a jar in my fridge at this very moment The fermented taste can be very potent Pickles with a nice firm crunch Just the thing for a snack with lunch They have relish and tomatoes too I’m bored so here’s a lame review for you I’m an addict, pickles are my thang If you don’t like it you can…

This brand of pickle is the only one that comes close to how my grandfather made them. Forget Clausen and the other ones for sure. Their dill pickles are the best! I have yet to try their other products because when I see their dills I just want to hug the jar and drool all over it I love them so much! The grocery store in my area that I know that has them is Sunflower Market. But going off of another Unilocaler here it says you can get them at Albertsons. I don’t know. I never looked for them at Albertsons. The first time I ever came across them was at Sunflower.
