Red Roof Inn Stockbridge

1. Complained about smoke smell in room only to be told to crank the AC higher by front desk personnel (who seems to be nice, but that was pretty rude?!). Oh by the way, found out later that said personnel smokes (saw person smoking outside the hotel lobby the next morning)… I guess that’s why they never smelled it.
2. Found mayo and salsa dip in mini-​fridge. Really guys? All it takes is a double-​check of the room. That was unnecessary.
3. Found a towel with holes. How am I supposed to use that thing? LOL
4. Tub looks like it needs a better scrub down. Magic eraser, anyone?
5. Found food (pretzel) on floor in room… Again, falls on house keeping.
6. Beds are pretty uncomfortable.
7. Breakfast: Hardly any food left 30 mins before breakfast ending time.
Aside from that wonderful stay… Not! Eeewwwhhhh… Four stars, I think not!

For the price this place is an amazing value. We have stayed here two years in a row on our trip to Florida. Last year the hotel had just completed a renovation. The staff has been helpful and friendly for us. The rooms are clean and sharp looking but don’t expect fancy.
Pros:
Cheap, Clean, Close to freeway, quiet, close to stores and restaurants, Wifi works well, microwave and fridge and friendly staff.
Cons:
Entrance road is easy to miss, same cheap breakfast as all the other cheap hotels, small TV.

This is one of the nicest Red Roof’s I have ever stayed in, the staff is excellent (Ray-​Diane-​Lee). Besides making me feel very comfortable and at home, the hotel was very clean. And the big bonus in my case is they have parking for the large car, it is right off the highway with several decent restaurants within walking distance. I look forward to staying there again in my travels again this is one of the best Red Roof Inns I’ve ever been at good job guys… and girls.

Inexpensive, great customer service. They Let me see room before I booked and did t mind at all.

The guy working the night shift was less than personable and the place reeked like cigarette smoke. The room was about what you would expect for this type of hotel but the bathroom was absolutely disgusting. They also keep the coffee maker in the bathroom which just seems unsanitary to me.
