Burger King

Do not go here if you are even remotely in a hurry… The speaker doesn’t work so you order at the window. Where there is no register so they write it down on a bag, put in your order and come back with your total for them to run away again to get your change. Food wasn’t so good either. Don’t think they will stay in business long.

I stopped there a couple days ago for a couple breakfast sandwiches after driving through McDonalds and not wanting to wait in the incredibly long line at the drive-​through. There was only one other person at Burger King besides me – should have told me something.
I went inside to order and the girl at the register seemed totally clueless about the menu and how to use the cash register. I figured she was probably new, and didn’t say anything. After a few minutes I was handed my bag, and a cup for the large Coke I’d ordered. I turned to go fill my cup, and the girl grabbed my bag, took the sandwiches out and put two different ones in the bag. I wouldn’t think it would have been that hard to get the order right since I was at that time the only one in the place.
There was no ice at all in the machine, and she said I’ll get you some. There were also no lids to fit the large cup. I told them I needed a lid, and after a bit of a wait, it seemed there were none to be found. She handed me a smaller cup and said there was only 12 cents difference in the price, and asked if I’d like my 12 cents back. I declined and left. The ice wasn’t mentioned again, and I was feeling aggravated and just left, vowing to myself to never go back there.
I paid with a debit card and the total was $ 6.26. I noticed on the slip after i got in the card that they debited my card for $ 7.00 and at the bottom of the slip it said change due $.74. I never got change, and didn’t bother going back for that amount, but I wonder if that’s some kind of scam. (checked my online bank statement, and the amount hasn’t been deducted yet, so I don’t know)
Anyway, it’s obvious to me now why no one was there. I’ll be surprised if they stay open at this rate.
