Barley & Vine

This is a pretty cool shop! I only had a few minutes to check it out during lunch last week but I will be returning soon! Root beer on tap is amazing!!! Didn’t last a single day in my house with 3 boys! Haha

i had been trying to find this place on & off since they opened. i finally struck gold and am so glad i did! the growler selection is incredible and the amount and quality of craft beers is far and above the local bottle shops.
it’s great to have a local growler shop that showcases local breweries and excellent beers.

outstanding beer selection, i have traveled all over the world and tasted numerous beer only to have the airport security take them because of the size.
One thing I can count on is Barley and Vine to have the best selections along with the friendly staff. No need to drive up to Atlanta and drive back.

I found out about Barley & Vine through a friend/​coworker whom I share the common interest in great beer. I enjoy B&V, both bottled sales and growlers. These folks have introduced me to quite a few local, domestic, and imported brews that I would have never had the opportunity to try otherwise. Stop by, have a sample, get a growler full of your favorite, and enjoy crazy good draft beer in your home while you watch the game or cook out!
Yeah, there’s wine & cheese stuff there as well, but they have BEER! Lots of great, awesome, wonderful BEER!

Amazing selection, excellent service, knowledgeable staff. I find something new each time I visit. I have never been disappointed!

Visited at 10 am this morning. Was looking for something specific. When I approached the cashier, I evidently interrupted her getting her drawer ready. Someone should explain that she is in the service industry and to smile and be more pleasant in her response. After finally looking around the store explaining that they didn’t have the beer I was looking for, I left. On my way home I stopped at the Eagles landing bottle shop. I was promptly greeted and asked if I need help. They went as far as willing to contact the distributor and get back with me. Bottom line, go to somewhere that appreciates you as a customer.

Growler Bar + Bottled Beer + Beer-​making supplies
This place is amazing. Great, rotating selection of beer on tap, as well as a very broad collection of bottled microbrews from all over the county. The staff seem both knowledgeable and friendly.
The price is good, too: average 64oz growler runs $ 11

There is nothing like this anywhere in Henry County. It has a fun atmosphere, but the attention to the craft is quite serious. The selection is awesome, and I love the growler bar most of all. I could not ask for more in a beer store. I’m currently brewing a Sierra Nevada clone kit I got from them, and I can’t wait to see how it turns out. These guys are the real deal!

I called the shop to ask what time they closed as a friend needed to pick up a few things. Dan was very nice and even offered to stay open until he got there!

I enjoy stopping by to check out the Growler Bar and their selections of beer. The guys are always friendly and knowledgable about beer. I am only able to stop by when I am up from Panama City and am always welcomed and remembered and I appreciate that!!!

This place was quite a surprise, I was not expecting what we found on the inside based upon the meager, strip mall exterior.
We stopped here as a favor for one of our companions as he was being ‘rewarded’ for going to visit the new baby in our group of friends. We are by no means anywhere close to Stockbridge so it is quite a hike, but it was worth it!
Everyone was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable at the same time. They had brewing demonstrations going on and even had a wine-​making demonstration… all of this on a random Saturday.
Now, don’t go here because of their beer selection, it’s just ok. Yes, everything is craft and delicious but the majority of the store is devoted to home-​brewing & wine-​making. They also have a growler station with a pretty decent selection of craft and seasonal brews… we grabbed a 64 oz of the new PumpKING from Southern Tier.
The shop is bigger than it appears… they have quite a big selection of home-​brew equipment and ingredients. Next time, I need to be prepared so that I can come with a list and stock up. They have a huge selection of ‘clone kits’ available if you just want to get to brewing. I picked up a Sweetwater IPA and can’t wait to get it going… price was about right and typical for this type of kit.
We also got some great guidance on creating a cider from one of the employees and grabbed some cider yeast for that project… he was very helpful and walked us thru the process. Much Appreciated!

Great shop. Found out about them at a beer festival and glad I did. They do wine making, beer making, and cheese classes. Well stocked and good prices on supplies. 27 beers on tap for growlers, good selection of bottled beer also. The staff was very helpful on answering some questions I had about making a batch of hard cider for the first time. Worst the driver.

So nice to have a growler station close to home! Dan, Kat, Michael et al are very knowledgable, personable and eager to please. There are 25 or more taps of diverse beers; samples available. Prices are comparable to other growler stores (avg. $ 10−12/ea.)

This place rocks. Their beer selection is slowly increasing and they will soon be adding a growler bar, which makes me, way happy.
The guys that work here are really cool and open for suggestions.
