Solid pizza, big New York style slices. Isle of Capri was very good. Very friendly and entertaining owner. The tiramisu and cannoli’s were fantastic. Will for sure come back again.

Awesome pizza, colorful staff! Online ordering was down so I had to *gasp* use the phone. They honored the online deal and I came in to pick up the pizza and garlic knots. I ordered an 18″ for pick up and they had to put it in a bigger box. Chef: «My pies are big…» There was some banter about the online order guy, and in general a very small, homey, NY feel. It is our new home town pizzeria. BTW, we ordered«Lucky’s, The Sausage,» and added black olives. Great sauce, perfect crust. Only ding would be that it was a little cool because it was sitting out for a while, but nothing too horrible.

For a company lunch in July 2015 we ordered 3 large pizzas for delivery. Unfortunately it took nearly 2 hours to receive our pizza, during which time we called 3 times asking about the status. Each time they said the pizza was on its way. When it arrived it was warm and pizza was mediocre. The pepperoni was pretty good but Lucky’s and other special pizza(can’t recall the name) were fair. We will not be ordering pizza from this establishment again.

Gas station pizza is better than what I just threw away. I ordered three things and they were all wrong, the pizza was raw and disgusting. Anything is better than this dump, and it’s expensive to boot.

I am not really a germaphobe but in an open kitchen it would be cool if the chef at least respected the health codes… even a little. Despite him eating over the line, not wearing gloves while preparing our food and picking up the remote between adding cheese and pepperoni to our pizza, the pizza was still really good. Meh– I’ve worked in enough restaurants to know this crap happens, I would just rather it be behind a wall. Haha. I would go back, it’s all about the final product – and I’m not dead yet.

The pizza is AMAZING! The owner’s from NYC, and after visiting New York, this place is a great fix for the NY pizza that you so dearly miss! It’s also a great bicycling destination as it’s near the end/start of the new Browns Creek Trail!

Ordered two slices of pizza. Very large pieces. Thin but crunchy on the underside. Very tasty. Wish there was more of a pasta choice for those that aren’t interested in pizza. Small dining area inside. Picnic tables outside. A great place for a quick bite to eat for little cost. Two pieces of pizza and two sodas just 10.00. Server was very friendly.

My new favorite place to eat in Stillwater is this New York-style hole in the wall in a refurbished old building in the north side of downtown. The owner is friendly and NYC all the way. My wife’s gluten-free veggie pizza with cauliflower crust was really special. My cheese(or, plain, as we say out east) slices were gigantic and tasted great, although they were a bit goopy, with the cheese overwhelming the thin crust – deduction for that. Hard to hold. 3 ½ stars. We’ll be back.

Stopped by this place in the middle of my 60 mile bike ride expecting a quick snack to be on my way. Took about 8 minutes to make a slice. Ok no big deal, it started raining so I could wait a few minutes. The pepperoni pizza was very MEh, nothing really to it. for $ 4.50 it was very dull. It was ok but wouldn’t come back to this place.

I thought the pizza was delicious. I found the owner totally friendly. The gal at the counter was also friendly and very helpful. And my huge slice was $ 4.95. I loved it!

Would have been good had they not added Parmesan cheese all over my slice. Heads up would have been nice– ruined my lunch.

Hands down the Best Pizza in Minnesota. The Calzone was the BEST I ever had. Delivery was fast and food was hot. Portion size is big and staff is friendly. All in all, Best pizza place!

I hate pizza but I stopped there to get one to go for my son. I ended up eating most of it! I liked the fact that there wasn’t too much cheese on it. I also liked the idea that the person making it is obviously from N.Y. and obviously Italian. I will most likely go there again.

For the area, Victoriano’s offers decent New York style pizza and plenty of personality from the owner/chef(who delighted my stepdaughter by offering her dessert on the house). My family, who live close by, are pleased with it, but I found the crust to be much too crispy to truly call it New York style… another reviewer referred to it as «cracker crust,» which is a fair description. My mom made a point to ask for extra cheese following a past pizza with less than sufficient cheese coverage, and the result was still a rather stingy smattering of cheese on the pie. Overall, not bad if you’re NY-pizza starved and living in western Wisconsin or eastern Minnesota, but I’ve had better.

First Hygiene: When I walk in the owner pulls out my calzones and a slice of pizza. He places the slice on the make table, cuts it and starts eating it. He then doesn’t finish his slice and places it back on the make table without a plate. He may as well lick my pizza. Next, the nice high school girl working there is cleaning something off the floor. Later she says it was blood. She didn’t throw out the towel and didn’t wash her hands. These 2 things they did while I was there. If they are going to violate health code while I am standing there, what will they do when I am not? Second — The Calzones Their only virtue is their size. They’re huge. But when they are dry, have chunks of ricotta in them with no toppings, their size is no longer virtuous. The toppings were not distributed well and you got a mouthful of one topping and none others. Thrid — The Sauce Or at least what they pass off as sauce. It’s watered down and served refrigerator-cold. Try a little harder. Final Verdict: Will not go back. Just because you are in a great location doesn’t mean you can be lazy, unsanitary and supposedly from New York and get away with it. I will vote with my dollars and not go back. Looking forward to what new restaurant takes it’s place, as this one has a short shelf life!

We have been looking for a good New York style pizza for a long time in the area. We were excited to see that Victorino’s claims that they are a NY style pizza joint. We read the iffy reviews before we went, but decided to find out for ourselves. The three main complaints I saw before was 1. over priced, 2. no sauce, 3. no cheese. I can confidently say that after our visit today, I can agree strongly with all three. I would also add that the crust was stiff and cardboard like. This was not a good pizza joint. I will continue to search for a «true» NY pizza joint!

Spent some time in Stillwater recently-and decided to stop for pizza. It was a nice experience. Not the best pizza I’ve ever had-but I had a slice of the specialty pizza of the day(pulled pork) and my husband had cheese-and we sat outside on picnic tables and listened to some hokey music that some people were playing outside. It is next door to a brewery-so a lot of people were getting beer while they waited. This place is really set up for take out-even though there’s a few places to sit inside and out. We didnt get a whole pizza-but the slices were huge-and reasonable(four or five bucks maybe?) Also-they were fresh-which usually isn’t the case when you order by the slice.

Victoriano’s bills itself as offering true New York style pies. The menu offers three sizes: Large, extra large, and New York(gigantic). Believe them. The pizzas ARE huge. We ordered a large Harvest(veggie & pesto) and an extra-large build your own with cheese, mushrooms, and fresh arugula. We ordered early, before lunch rush had begun. They said 15 – 20 minutes. Don’t believe them. Ours took 35 minutes and the place was not busy. Then sticker shock. Our two pizzas cost us $ 42. To be fair, the pizzas are so large that we could have ordered one and it would have been enough for the four of us who were eating, so it wasn’t as bad a bargain as it sounded. But part of the fun of pizza is getting a couple of different kinds, and to do that here you would have to have a whole lot of hungry people. Crust was medium-thin, done throughout, not soggy in the middle. I prefer a pizza that’s flavorful but not overly laden with cheese and toppings, and both of these were fine. Victoriano’s would not be my first choice for pizza – I’d still rather make the drive to Hudson for vera pizza napoletana – but it’s nice to have a choice right on Main Street in Stillwater. If you order carefully, probably by calling ahead to avoid a long wait, this is OK.
