Had Kim’s food truck today at the Stillwater Library Lexicon and it was amazing. My husband and I shared the ginger chicken and chicken eggrolls. The gentleman working was very helpful as I don’t do well with anything raw(vegetables) because of pregnancy and so they adjusted my order for that. If you have the chance, it’s a must!

I’m a huge fan of banh mi sandwiches, and Kim’s does them perfectly. Really — perfectly. These sandwiches achieve everything that one would expect from a great banh mi: well seasoned meat that is moist and savory with hints of sweetness; crisp, fresh cilantro and jalapenos and sweet pickled carrots and daikon radish; just the right amount of mayonnaise(i.e. not too much); and, most especially, a real French baguette, long and thin and crunchy and chewy. The sandwich is delivered simply wrapped in a piece of deli paper, making it a great self-contained grab-and-go meal. I’m new to Stillwater, and just ate at Kim’s for the first time today, so I have not sampled any of the other food on the menu yet. But I can’t wait to try more soon — though it’ll be hard not to just order that amazing banh mi every time.

Big fan of Vietnamese food. Kim’s had some good flavors going on. Spring rolls and ginger chicken filled me and my partner up, with leftovers to spare. The spring rolls were a nice light complement to the intensely flavored chicken. The chicken came on a bed of rice with some lettuce and tomatoes on the side. I do wish that these side veggies had been seasoned, either salt & pepper or some kind of sauce; even a little toss in sesame oil or rice vinegar would be a nice touch. When the weather turns cold I’ll try the phở. I’m happy to see Stillwater’s culinary scene grow with the addition of Vietnamese cuisine, which has similarities with other east Asian cuisines but tends to mix in more fresh ingredients and herbs. Keep an eye out for Kim’s and other mobile food trucks in Oklahoma!

The spring rolls are great and fresh. The fried rice is very unique flavoring and good. The E-6 chicken is so tender that it falls from the bone when picked up. The fried chicken egg rolls are pretty solid. It is a hidden gem in my opinion very fast service for cheap price

There is only 2 places in Stillwater to get Phở, and this is the best. I have eaten it in many different restaurants, and this does not disappoint. The broth is flavorful, and I always get enough meat. My wife really likes the slow cooked chicken leg portions. It seems like it has cooked for hours, and it more or less just falls right off the bone. They always make sure you have your sauces, napkins, chopsticks and spoons, ect. You don’t even need to ask for the stuff. I cannot imagine this place disappointing anyone that isn’t a food snob. The only thing that I would change is maybe more of a transition into sustainable take out containers. I know Styrofoam is cheap, but by ordering 2 or 3 meals, I take home a lot of Styrofoam that I end up washing and recycling. Just a thought. I know these people work hard, and are genuinely interested in pleasing you.

Was very disappointed. The prices are pretty good until you get your food. We ordered spring rolls, which we got shorted on but didn’t notice until we had left. Both dishes we ordered were laughable as far as quantity went — filled less than half of the to go box it came in. You can expect to see about ¼ c. of meat or whatever it is you order to top your rice or noodles which might be about a 1⁄3 of a cup of that. Didn’t try the phở, but won’t be giving this place a second chance to see how it is. The food was okay, but definitely nothing special and definitely not worth the price for what you actually get. After we were finished eating, we were still hungry — that’s how little food you got, and considering the food was by no means gourmet, I at least expect to get full.

This is as good as food trucks get. It’s a little pricy considering the small portions but it’s a matter of quality over quantity that wins me over in this case. It’s very different from the greasy Vietnamese food I’m used to, so don’t be fooled by the food truck stigma. I could tell the ingredients were fresh and I would almost say that the food is a healthier alternative to typical oriental cuisine. I recommend the sandwich’s and the vietnamese iced coffee.

Kim makes the best Egg Rolls and Chicken Fried Rice. Never had anything that compares!
