This is a destination for golfers and a must for a golf trip. The OSU golf tradition runs so deep and is on display as a bit of a Hall of Fame feel and it’s hard to ignore the impressive lineage of golf tradition… Go Cowboys!
I attended a business meeting there this week and the accommodations were incredible. The lodges offer suite style rooms with plenty of space to stretch out and a perfect balance of privacy and fraternity for those sharing a lodge. The food was outstanding and so was the service. top notch waiter, pro shop team and grounds team make you feel like a part of the family.
As for the golf course, clearly the fastest greens (but true and fair) I’ve ever played and I’ve been fortunate to have played some great courses. The layout is a test but is very fair (it will tempt you to make mistakes for sure!). It’s pricey to play without member sponsorship but worth the price of admission… I dare you to play 18 from the tips! Well done to the KC team.

Just outside of Stillwater, west of town on 51, sits a fancy golf course that has a great restaurant. It’s not stuffy or too fancy, has a great view, amazing service, and outstanding food. I take friends, family, and associates out here as often as I swing a slightly longer lunch (due to the drive) and it always pleases my guests. It doesn’t matter what you order, it will be very good. I only wish they would open for dinner! This is a lunch only spot for some reason. Their menu changes with the seasons, but many staples remain year-​round. The menu us also available on-​line, although I’m not sure if it’s updated with seasonal changes. Prices average about $ 8 a plate. There is also a small, full service bar with about half a dozen beers on tap.
